Continuity mistake: When Johnny and Roy are in the ER after the cave-in rescue, while they're talking to Dixie and Brackett, we can see how long Johnny's hair is. After they get back to the station, when the guys decide to name the dog Henry, there's a closeup of Johnny and now his hair is much shorter and even layered at the sides. Additionally, the dirty areas on his shirt change.Super Grover
Continuity mistake: After Squad 51 is dispatched to the 'injured man', when Roy and Johnny get out of the squad, Roy is not wearing his watch as they're walking to the victim while getting hounded by the dog, but in the next shot the watch is back on Roy's wrist as the dog chews on his pants.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: At the scene of the scaffold accident on the side of the building, near the top of the crane, there is a small covered booth that hangs from the crane. We can see the reflection of the hidden second cameraman and his camera in the mirrored windows of the building, as he leans in and out of that booth to film some of the footage we see during this scene.Super Grover
Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy are at the house with the three wild, obnoxious boys who terrorized their sitter, Johnny takes her blood pressure with the cuff, while Roy takes her respiration and pulse as he looks at his wrist for the second-hand countdown, but the problem is that Roy isn't even wearing his watch, and the actor has a bizarre look on his face when he looks at his naked wrist. He then tells Johnny that her pulse is 140 and respiration is 35. When the ambulance attendants arrive, Roy is wearing his watch. If he had his watch he should have used it for the pulse and respiration.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny and Roy are on the soap opera set treating the 'doctor', the outlines of the lav mic transmitters are visible on the front, left sides of Johnny's and Roy's shirts, above their belts, and the outline of Jody's mic transmitter is visible on the back of her brown sweater.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: During the structure fire, while the first teenager is being carried down the ladder from the attic window, in the two closeups of Captain Stanley if we look past Engine 116, in the background we can see Universal Studios' GlamorTrams driving by, which provided tours of the studio's backlots. This rescue was filmed at the "Corner House" located on the original "Colonial Street" in the studio's backlot.Super Grover
Revealing mistake: After Johnny's line gets snarled while testing Wally's equipment at the studio, when Roy lowers himself on his own line wearing his lifebelt, we can see the added carabiners that are attached to the lifebelt which go down into Roy's pants, and are presumably attached to the extra support the actor is wearing under his pants.Super Grover
Revealing mistake: At World Picture Corp, when John and the guy with the broken clavicle are lowered from the overhead joists they're both wearing lifebelts buckled around their waists. The problem is that once they reach the ground, we can see the additional carabiner attached to John's lifebelt, which is also attached to extra green support protruding from under John's shirt. We can also see the victim's additional carabiner going under his flannel shirt. While Roy is on the line with Rampart, when John removes the victim's lifebelt, the extra carabiner is still protruding from under the victim's shirt and John places his hand over it. Continuity mistake: When the patients who were treated at 86's arrive at the ER, Dix has Morton take the asthmatic boy with bronchitis into treatment 1. Then, when Roy is with Early in treatment 4, Early tells Roy to go to treatment 1 to ask Morton if he needs help, and when Roy walks into treatment 1 we can see that it's not really treatment 1, it's actually treatment 4 just playing the part of treatment 1.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: While John's trapped with the two men in the cave-in, he digs and finds the opening to the pipe, and when he starts shouting up to Roy, the cameraman's knee/leg is right beside John's left hand, at the lower right corner of the screen. It really is.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: At the scene of the traffic accident, after Captain Stanley tells Johnny and Roy that the victim may have a fractured pelvis, just as Johnny places the Biophone on the roof of the car the camera's angle tilts down to face the victim, and we can see the reflection of the cameraman/crew member on the car window.Super Grover
Revealing mistake: When John and Roy reach the man lying near the pool with a back injury, while Thadeus keeps gnawing and grabbing at Roy's pant leg, we see the extra material that Roy has under the pants (over his socks) to prevent the dog from accidentally harming his legs.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and John eat lunch with the sheriff and decide to head to the lake after lunch, when they both get into the squad car, we can see the reflection of the cameraman, who's wearing jeans and a dark shirt, in the wing mirror, as he walks closer to the car and bends down. We can also see the legs of another crew member standing behind him.Super Grover
Revealing mistake: After rescuing the burn victim from the boat's explosion, Johnny and Roy are at the back of the camper with the victim, while the victim's wife drives the camper to the clinic, but when they arrive at the clinic the camper hasn't even stopped yet, and we can see the woman's legs at the side of the camper, waiting for her cue to come rushing to the camper's rear door when her husband is brought out.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: At the scene of the plane that hit the building, after the explosion, when Foam 10 arrives there's a closeup of the firemen using the foam tubing, and behind the doorway one of the 'firemen' kicks the foam tubing, but notice that he's not really a fireman, he's actually a crew member who's wearing a turnout coat, though he's also wearing jeans and work boots.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: At the start, after the boy ties a bowline knot in the rope attached to the van, when the mom gets into the van with her daughter, the reflections of two crew members, the cameraman and the top of the camera are all visible in the vent window, in two shots.Super Grover
Revealing mistake: While the guys are eating chilli at the table, when Station 51 is dispatched to 'man down', notice that when they're at the scene, both paramedics are wearing their jackets and Johnny is wearing his helmet. We never see Johnny's face in any of the wide shots, because the entire time it's the double with Roy. We only see Johnny alone in a few closeups, pickup shots which were filmed later, and we can see the style of the houses in the closeups do not resemble the houses in the other shots. The real Johnny is back, once they reach the hospital.Super Grover
Captain Stanley: How are you and Brice getting along?
Roy: Fine. Fine. We're getting along just fine.
Captain Stanley: Thought for a while there might be a little personality problem.
Roy: No, I can work with just about anybody. I can get along with just about anybody.
Captain Stanley: Glad to hear that.
Roy: Just might have to bust him in the mouth to do it.
