Limelight - S6-E24

Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy are at the house with the three wild, obnoxious boys who terrorized their sitter, Johnny takes her blood pressure with the cuff, while Roy takes her respiration and pulse as he looks at his wrist for the second-hand countdown, but the problem is that Roy isn't even wearing his watch, and the actor has a bizarre look on his face when he looks at his naked wrist. He then tells Johnny that her pulse is 140 and respiration is 35. When the ambulance attendants arrive, Roy is wearing his watch. If he had his watch he should have used it for the pulse and respiration.

Welcome to Santa Rosa County - S6-E10

Other mistake: When Roy and Johnny begin their ascent, the injured rock climbers are shown in a closeup, which then zooms out so we can see the entire area to the left, and the only rope up there is the boys' red rope. When Johnny reaches the boys, he's pulling himself up with the help of a blue rope, which has already been anchored in place near the injured boys. So who put it up there and anchored it? Not the injured boys. Not Johnny. Not Roy, who is still down below.

The Boat - S6-E19

Other mistake: In the bookie's apartment, on the table with all the telephones, there's a can of scouring cleanser which has the "a" and "x" covered, so all we see is the "ja" on the can, in order to hide its brand name, which is Ajax.

Family Ties - S6-E16

Other mistake: Dr. Morton notifies the operator of the Code Red in room 127. Everybody knows room 127 is Dr. Brackett's office.

The Boat - S6-E19

Other mistake: After the explosion occurs in Rampart's basement, when Engines 236 and 73 roll up on scene, we can see the engine companies' numbers are covered up atop their cabs, presumably to conceal the engine companies' real numbers.

Breakdown - S6-E15

Other mistake: While Charlie is trying to figure out what's wrong with the squad, when Captain Stanley, Roy and John are sitting around the table, there's a can of scouring cleanser which has yellow tape covering the "a" and "x" so all we see is the "ja" on the can, in order to hide its brand name, which is Ajax.

Fair Fight - S6-E5

Other mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched to 'man with head injury' which is the fighting couple, the dispatcher says "10763 Riverton, cross street Valleyheart Drive," but when they arrive the two street signs at the intersection read "Valleyheart Drive 10700" and "Riverton Ave 4000." The house number is 10763, so the dispatcher should have said, "10763 Valleyheart Drive, cross street Riverton."

Computer Terror - S6-E9

Other mistake: At the scrapyard with the man who was nearly crushed in the car, when Roy takes his BP the stethoscope chestpiece is on the man's arm in the wide shot, but in the closeup the chestpiece hangs in mid-air not actually touching the man's arm, yet Roy continues to read the BP.

Computer Terror - S6-E9

Other mistake: Station 51 responds to an "accident with injuries, " address 7526 Sunset, cross street, Abbott, to rescue two people stuck on scaffolding at the top of the tall building. This distinctive, mirrored glass building was also used this season in episode 6, "Rules of Order", with the address given as 3120 South Century, cross street, Burgess, for the rescue of two people hanging off the side of the tall structure. The actual building address is 500 190th Street, Gardena, CA.

Captain Hook - S6-E8

Other mistake: While Roy, John, and Chet are talking about the party, and how emotional it all was, we hear Hookrader say, "Lopez," just as he walks into the kitchen where Marco Lopez is sitting, but the subtitles read, "Hello, guys."

Captain Hook - S6-E8

Other mistake: When Johnny and Roy rappel down the cliff to the downed police traffic helicopter, Johnny gets on the HT and says, "All right, Cap, this is HT 51..." but the subtitles actually read, "Hi, Cap, this is HE 51..." Then when they reach the chopper, Johnny says, "There it goes," and Roy says, "Okay, I'll take this side," but the subtitles reverse who says both lines.

Isolation - S6-E20

Other mistake: After Engine 51 and Squad 51 are dispatched to "man trapped," while en route to the incident Engine 86 becomes available, so when the dispatcher cancels Engine 51 we hear Captain Stanley respond, "Engine 51," but the subtitles read that Johnny is the one who responds "Engine 51," which is pretty silly since John and Roy are in Squad 51.

The Boat - S6-E19

Other mistake: Over the phone the bookie tells Sidney, "I'm having them pains again. I don't feel so good. Would you call some...," then collapses onto the floor. Then Station 51 is dispatched to "Possible heart attack," and the address is given, along with the apartment number 23. After 51 breaks into the bookie's apartment, soon one of the phones ring and Captain Stanley says, "Let me get this straight. Your name's Sidney, and you phoned in the heart attack, right? Now we're getting somewhere. How come you didn't have the address? What's your last name Sidney?" However, 51 was dispatched to the proper address and even the apartment number. Nobody else knew of the heart attack, and the victim did not phone it in.

Loose Ends - S6-E12

Other mistake: While Brackett is a patient at Rampart, he phones to inquire about Tina, and when he rips off his hospital ID bracelet we can see the wood grain bathroom door as he heads for Tina's room. When he's in Tina's room, the wood grain bathroom door in her room is identical to the door in Brackett's room, revealing the same room is used for both patients.

All Night Long - S6-E21

Other mistake: When the woman from the car accident is in the ER, Morton uses the laryngoscope to intubate her, and hooks her up to the respirator, but then she goes into V-fib, and when the defibrillation and epinephrin are unsuccessful and she flatlines, even if the respirator hose came loose she would still have the intubation tube in her mouth, but she doesn't.

Paper Work - S6-E11

Other mistake: After 51 rescues the boy who was stuck in the storm drain and is brought to the ER, Brackett uses the laryngoscope for endotracheal intubation, but the problem is we can see when Brackett cups his left hand, he merely places the distal end of the laryngoscope over the top of his hand, not actually down into the boy's mouth.

Paper Work - S6-E11

Other mistake: When the foreman and secretary are rescued at the warehouse fire, two shots after we see the foreman climbing down the ladder, there's a shot of the grey steel drums marked 'acetone' with two lying on their sides on a wood pallet, while the guys hose down the fire. What's funny is that in the next shot there's a disposable plastic cup that has suddenly appeared on that pallet. Obviously while shooting the different takes one of the actors or crew members left their cup on the pallet before they resumed filming.

Other mistake: Squad 51 is dispatched to the fighting couple three different times, and we hear the dispatcher give the address cross street as "Valleyheart," but all three times the subtitles read, "Valley Park."

[Henry, the dog who is never ever off the couch, whimpers.]
Johnny: [Talking to Henry, while typing on the typewriter.] Sorry. Didn't mean to disturb you. Acting kinda uppity aren't you? I may put you in the script. Yeah. A dog that does nothing. [Henry whimpers.] Just sits there. People like that, y'know. A schleppy dog. You'll schlep out on stage and schleep on the couch. Dumb dog! [Henry whimpers.] Making me feel guilty. Why don't you howl or something?

Mistakes

When Roy is electrocuted and falls from the roof, after Karen uses the defibrillator paddles on Roy, she lifts both paddles, looks at the EKG monitor and says "He's converted." How exactly could Karen have known that he's converted? It's impossible for the EKG monitor to show anything at all. Either the defib paddles have be in contact with Roy's body for the “quick-look” to get a reading, which they weren't, or the ECG electrode discs have to be on Roy's chest connecting him to the EKG monitor, and they weren't. As an aside, just watching Marco having problems attaching the air mask, and quickly glancing up towards the camera frustrated, then giving up is priceless.

Trivia

In addition to Randolph Mantooth's brother Donald appearing in this episode, while Roy and John are in Mrs. Johnson's apartment, when Roy's telling John some of the plants' names, John picks up a plant from the table and asks Roy what its name is. And when Roy answers, "Sadie", John smiles at the plant and says, "Hey, Sadie, how you doing?" Sadie is Mantooth's mother's name.
