Other mistake: When Roy and Johnny are waiting in the staff lounge for Dr. Morton, Johnny opens the newspaper's sport's section and sees Brice's picture. In the page's close-up, two paragraphs in two unrelated articles are the same, and they also have nothing to do with the title of the articles. The first paragraph begins, "Thus at this conference all our governments..." and the second begins, "Of no less importance was the common recognition..."
Continuity mistake: After watching Brice's interview on TV, all the guys sit down at the table to eat dinner, and there is one jar of mustard on the table. When Roy smears mustard on his bun, Chet motions for the mustard with his eyes and Roy slides it over to him to use, but in the next few shots the open jar of mustard is either in front of Roy or Chet, depending on the angle of the shot. The milk container keeps switching places as well.
Visible crew/equipment: After Johnny and Roy are called back into the home of the young couple, who were issued the fire-code violation ticket, when Roy is on the Biophone with Rampart, the bulging outline of the mic transmitter is visible at the left side of Roy's shirt, just over his belt.
Fair Fight - S6-E5
Visible crew/equipment: At the cave-in site with the trapped men, when Johnny is up top and also when he's being lowered down to the men, the bulging outline of Johnny's mic transmitter is visible on the front, left of his shirt, right above his belt.
Fair Fight - S6-E5
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are at Rampart after their third run to the battling couple's home, the outline of the mic transmitter can be seen on the front, left side of Roy's shirt, over his belt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Johnny is kneeling on the sidewalk beside the woman who fainted, the outline of the mic transmitter can be seen at his left side, above his belt.
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with Johnny's friend, the stunt coordinator, trying out the new gear, the outlines of their mic transmitters are visible on the left sides of Johnny's and Roy's shirts, above the belts.
Bottom Line - S6-E17
Visible crew/equipment: A man walks into the ER with a white phosphorus burn on his arm, and when they wheel him into the treatment room, an actor's T-mark is visible on the floor below the gurney.
Visible crew/equipment: When the guys are on the tower ride during the rescue, the shadow of the chopper (and its rotating rotor blades) doing the aerial filming becomes visible, when the ride reaches the bottom. Then the shadow of the entire chopper moves in directly in front of the ambulance, as they load the ambulance.
An Ounce of Prevention - S6-E13
Visible crew/equipment: After the rescues at the ferris wheel, when Dixie walks in while Brackett is examining the patient, the actor's black tape mark is visible on the floor, just as Morton and the nurse switch places.
Loose Ends - S6-E12
Continuity mistake: When the police officer has chest pains, DeSoto places the ECG electrode discs onto his chest. In the close-ups, the right disc has a black lead head, but otherwise the right disc has a white lead head.
Continuity mistake: At the gas station, when Captain Stanley asks Marco to open the gas pump and close the shut-off valve, Marco is wearing two rings - one on each of his ring fingers, but when he is nearly electrocuted both rings have vanished.
Fair Fight - S6-E5
Other mistake: Squad 51 is dispatched to the fighting couple three different times, and we hear the dispatcher give the address cross street as "Valleyheart," but all three times the subtitles read, "Valley Park." Subtitles from Universal Studios 2010 DVD.
Continuity mistake: Just before Engine 51 and Squad 51 arrive at the scene of the hang gliding incident, there's a long shot of the victims lying injured on the side of the cliff, and when the camera zooms out we see Johnny and Roy with the informant of the accident standing at the top of the cliff, even though Squad 51 hasn't actually arrived at the scene yet. That same shot is shown a minute later after they all arrive, when Roy says that he'll get some equipment.
Bottom Line - S6-E17
Visible crew/equipment: When the guy walks into the ER with the white phosphorous burn, the outline of the lavalier mic transmitter is visible on the back of Dixie's uniform.
Audio problem: After the rescue at the refinery fire, while they load the ambulance, when Roy and John are being thanked the man's mouth movements are not in sync with what we hear.
Family Ties - S6-E16
Continuity mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to the 'traffic accident with people trapped', time out is 10:23, but when Roy takes the man's blood pressure his watch reads 9:00, and when Johnny's on the Biophone with Rampart his watch reads 11:25. Then when John gives Rampart the second set of vitals, his watch reads 2:20.
Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are on their lines attempting to rescue the unconscious game show contestant wannabe, before they're able to get the pompier life belt around the man's waist, the belt falls to the ground and lands near the man's cape and broken balancing pole. However, when the ambulance attendants walk towards the building, in the overhead shot the life belt has vanished; only the cape and broken pole are lying on the ground.
Continuity mistake: When Station 51 is dispatched to the 'man down', time out is 21:30, but when Johnny and Roy are at Mr. Jefferson's apartment, Johnny's watch reads 3:05. Back at the station, when Chet's sitting beside Johnny at the typewriter, Johnny's watch reads 5:15, but at Rampart it's after 2:00 when Mr. Jefferson has the bypass operation. When Station 51 is dispatched to the car accident, time out is 1:50, but when Johnny checks the woman's pupils, his watch reads 1:00, and when they're back at the station his watch reads 10:05, as Johnny tells Roy that the show is crazy.
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Early and Dr. Morton are in the treatment room with Mr. Jefferson, Morton's stethoscope is draped over his shoulder with the ear tubes at his back in the wide shots, but in the closeup the ear tubes are lying in front.
