The Prisoner (1967)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, the cards and notebook on Number 6's kitchen counter change positions between shots. There's also a circle card on the counter that disappears when he draws the star card from the deck.

Wrong Train to Brimstone - S1-E4
Trivia: The word "damn" still wasn't permitted by ABC in the early 1970s. Smith & Jones producers tried to get it past the censors by having Harry Briscoe use it twice in this episode. It nearly worked, but the offensive epithet was blanked out at the last minute by the network.

Wrong Train to Brimstone - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: While Heyes and Curry are guarding the gold shipment, Heyes' hat keeps changing positions on his head between takes. First it's down over his hairline, then it's pushed back, etc. (00:26:50)

Wrong Train to Brimstone - S1-E4
Trivia: It was probably the set decorator's little joke. A sign on a privy door reads "Out of Order." Leaves one to wonder just what part of an outhouse can be out of order.

Wrong Train to Brimstone - S1-E4
Factual error: When the train is fully boarded, the conductor waves a lamp to signal the engineer. It's supposed to be 8 pm at night, but it's suspiciously sunny on the platform - and the signal lamp is noticeably not lit. (00:08:45)

Wrong Train to Brimstone - S1-E4
Continuity mistake: Heyes and Curry enter the train depot at 8 pm. It's dark outside. When they come back to the platform, it's daylight. When the train leaves, it's dark again. Midway through its 60-mile journey, there's another shot of the train in daylight, followed again by more night shots. (00:07:30)

Richard Diamond, Private Detective (1957)
Revealing mistake: The car that goes over the cliff is at least ten years older than the car it's supposed to be - the 1957 Plymouth Fury that Diamond was driving. It's obviously old 1940s stock footage.

Which Way to the OK Corral? - S2-E20
Continuity mistake: When Georgette tells him she plans to become a chanteuse, Curry says he doesn't know what that is. But in an earlier episode, "Journey from San Juan," he called Michelle a chanteuse with obvious knowledge of the word's meaning.

Which Way to the OK Corral? - S2-E20
Factual error: Heyes and Curry meet Doc Holliday and Marshall Wyatt Earp in Tombstone. Wyatt, however, was never a marshall in Tombstone, though his brother Virgil was. Wyatt and Doc Holliday both left Tombstone permanently shortly after the OK Corral shootout in 1881, so wouldn't even have been there when Heyes and Curry arrived in 1883. (The year's established by Heyes reading Twain's book published in that year).

Which Way to the OK Corral? - S2-E20
Continuity mistake: At the end, Heyes and Curry tie their horses to the back of the stagecoach and get aboard. In the following shot of the coach pulling away, the tied horses are no longer there. (00:48:00)

Great Guy (1936)
Revealing mistake: During a fight scene in which a bad guy flips James Cagney's character over his shoulder and slams him against a wall, you can see that it isn't Cagney being flipped. The stunt double's face is briefly visible.

Dreadful Sorry, Clementine - S2-E10
Factual error: Heyes burns the photo - but he shouldn't have been able to. In the 1880s, it should be printed on tin and not on paper. (00:11:00)

The Man Who Broke the Bank at Red Gap - S2-E17
Factual error: An egotistical, prissy and dishonest lawyer like Mr. Fletcher wouldn't make the mistake of allowing his name to be misspelled on his office door. It reads "Winfred Fletcher." His first name, as it's pronounced throughout the episode, is "Winford." (00:26:50)

Richard Diamond, Private Detective (1957)
Continuity mistake: When Diamond drags the bad guy out of the water, the hunting dog that's been sitting on the dock barking at them disappears between takes.

Alias Smith and Jones (1971)
Revealing mistake: The night scenes around the campfire are plainly shot on an indoor set and not outdoors. Phony exteriors were seldom used on this series, but L.A. had suffered a record five inches of rain that forced the crew to either shoot indoors or fall behind schedule.

Great Guy (1936)
Continuity mistake: When the villain offers him a bribe, James Cagney's handkerchief keeps changing between takes, peeking out of his pocket at different lengths. His arm positions also change between shots, even though he hasn't visibly moved. (00:23:00)

Six Strangers at Apache Springs - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: Despite the episode title, there are only five strangers in this story. Even if you counted Caroline and Smithers, who live there and so aren't among the strangers, they'd make the total seven.

Richard Diamond, Private Detective (1957)
Revealing mistake: When Diamond and Miss Miller are driving in the country, Diamond is turning the steering wheel in wide arcs as though he's on a winding road. But the rear-screen projection footage behind them is moving in a straight line.

Great Guy (1936)
Continuity mistake: After the bad guys frame Cagney for drunk driving and stage an auto accident, the smudges on his face change shape and position several times between shots. (00:27:30)
