Answer: It's open to interpretation, but one theory might be that Chris' faith and his assumptions about the Afterlife have been completely "upended." And as Annie has lost her faith altogether, he must now struggle to bring her back into the fold and set things right so that they can be together.

Need help remembering the title of this film. An American film, possibly late 80's early 90's, in which a grandmother passes away but she is a main character in the film as a ghost, and she guides her grandchildren into burying her body where she wanted to be buried, not wanted to be buried where she died.

General questions
I'm trying to find the name of a movie I saw a long time ago but can't remember the name of. It's a black and white film, and I think Mickey Rooney was in it but I'm not sure. It's about a guy who grows up to be a gangster and all these kids in an orphanage home who idolize him. The priest (or the person who runs it) visits him in jail and asks him to put up a big stink and go out a coward on his way to get executed. At first he refuses but as the time comes he does chicken out and make a scene about not wanting to die. The kids read about it the papers and agree he was no good. Any ideas on what movie this is? It's driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

Question: When the Monkees are locked in the downstairs bedroom and they are planning to escape, where does Mick get the lab coat and the chemical bottle from which he plans to use to scare the evil people into letting them all leave?
Answer: The Monkees TV series was very much a fantasy (this was the "groovy" psychedelic 60s, after all). Impossible things, such as items appearing out of nowhere, happened on their show without explanation all the time.

The Prisoner (1967)
Question: Just who was Number 1?
Chosen answer: We were never told. In the series finale [Spoiler alert] Number 6 demands an answer to that question, only to be shown his own reflection.
Answer: It's even more obvious than you think, you know who number 1 is in the very first episode. When 2 replies to the question "who is #1?" Change the way he answers from you are number one (in the monotone or accented answer to, "You are, number 6. The comma gives you the answer. #6 is #1. It's the tone of the answer.
Answer: The Prisoner was first shown on British television in 1967. I did not watch it then, but the series was was repeated on UK television in 1977, at which point it became a massive cult. Certainly, I was hooked. Well, ten minutes after I started watching The Prisoner, I was 110% certain as to who Number 1 was. In my opinion, the identity of Number 1 was so utterly, glaringly obvious that I could not understand how anybody could even ask such a question. I thought there was only one candidate for the identity of Number 1, and it was so plainly visible that nobody could even vaguely consider it to be anybody else. So, who did I think Number 1 was? you all ask. My answer? Himself! Patrick McGoohan (or rather, the character Patrick McGoohan played in The Prisoner) was Number 1. I was proved right. In Fall Out, the seventeenth and final episode, "The Prisoner" gets to meet "Number 1." Now this is a real "blink and you'll miss it" moment, but Number 1 has his face covered. The Prisoner pulls off the covering to see a mask, he pulls off the mask, to see himself! The Patrick McGoohan in Number 1's costume laughs in The Prisoner's face and runs away. Unfortunately, I don't know why Patrick McGoohan should be both The Prisoner and Number 1. I don't think anybody does.

General questions
This was a movie where a man and woman, who aren't a couple at first, are taking care of three children (not theirs) for some reason. One of them is a girl named Sarah. At one point, the woman sees that the man bought two new beds, and thinks that he is hoping to get her to sleep with him in the big one. When she goes to a tavern place he is hanging out at, he says that one bed is for the two boys, and yells that the smaller bed is for Sarah. I'm thinking that it had a Western setting, but I'm not sure. It was a color movie.
Answer: This is the 1975 Disney movie The Apple Dumpling Gang, starring Bill Bixby, Susan Clark, Don Knotts and Tim Conway.

I saw an episode and I don't know of what. But I do know that Jessica Simpson played a babysitter to a little girl. And the little girl had a big collection of barbie dolls. We come to find out the little girl was so unhappy that she wanted all of her former babysitters to stay and when they tried to leave. She turned them into the dolls. Does anyone know what I was watching and what the name of the episode was?
Answer: It's an episode of the latest incarnation of "The Twilight Zone," aired on UPN in April, 2003. The episode title was "The Collection."

I saw a movie, possibly in the 50's, where a group of men think they have crash landed on a planet and have to survive. They struggle through this desert like area and finally at the end of the movie, they cross one more hill and on the other side see telephone wires. They had never left earth. Question: What exactly was the point of the 'Tounge Tied' scene at the start of this episode. It doesn't seem to be in any way important to the episode, apart from triggering the conversation about Rimmer's attitude towards women, which could have been done in a much quicker way.
Answer: Originally the episode was to open without any titles or credits due to time constraints. Tongue Tied was used in the remastered episode as an opening, but has no relevance to the story or plot other than to display the Cats views on women. It is simply a dream sequence he recorded.

Question: According to the IMDB, Peter Tork has an uncredited cameo in this film. Does anyone know where in the movie his cameo is?
Answer: He's in the wizard-looking costume as the suits walk into the studio sound stage.
Answer: He's reportedly in the background during the scene where Kirshner, Harris and Van are discussing the Monkees' Hawaii concert tour.

Question: Why doesn't Disher feel at all sad that his uncle has just died?
Answer: He was close to his uncle (he mentioned working with his uncle every summer when he was a boy), but the main events of the show happen over a month after the uncle's death.
Chosen answer: I got the impression that he really hadn't known this particular uncle very well.

Question: In the beginning credits of movies/t.v. shows, when they say "and introducing" followed by the actor's name, it is because it is the 1st acting role for that actor. In this episode when the introduced Quinn's brother, the beginning credits say "and introducing Charlie O'Connell." However he has done other acting roles before he appeared on Sliders. As a matter of fact, he did 2 episodes on Sliders as a different character before he became Quinn's brother. So is there a reason why the actor was "introduced" in this episode?
Chosen answer: Quinn's brother was going to be a recurring character, so "introduced" in this case referred to the actor becoming a semi-regular.

Mr. Monk and the Really, Really Dead Guy - S5-E15
Question: I'm confused. How did Monk typing the girl's address into his computer make the address come up on the screen and hence lead the SWAT team to her house?
Chosen answer: It was Julie's laptop, and when Monk plugged it into the SWAT team's system, Julie's friend's address (where the teen girls were having a slumber party) popped up and fooled the cops into thinking that it was the perp's house. Highly unlikely, true, but the SWAT guys storming into a house full of squealing teenage girls in pink nighties did make for a very funny scene.
Answer: Julies Laptop was using the SFPD's Internet to receive mails from that girls house i.e. the girl throwing the party. So, the FBI thought that the girls house was the perp's house because of the connection from Julie's laptop to the girl's house.

Monk (2002)
Question: I have been trying to figure out how the death in the episode was linked to the suspect. Now I understand that being she was the housekeeper and that identifying the body would identify who she was and make him an likely suspect (he knew her, the secret bank accounts etc.) but how would that be enough to arrest him or even prosecute him for that matter? The body was not located on his property, there was no physical evidence that he killed her, he never made any incriminating statements and so on. The case seems far too circumstantial to be able to arrest him.
Chosen answer: He'd also murdered the wig shop owner, though, and the implication was that SFPD was gathering more evidence there. Monk puts together a pretty impressive batch of circumstantial evidence for both murders, and that's enough for Stottlemeyer to arrest Harley. Many murder cases go to trial with less, and successfully convict despite a lack of absolute proof, which is, sadly, far less abundant in real life than it is on TV. Lacking concrete proof, guilt must then be established "beyond a reasonable doubt."
