Dark Shadows (1966)

Suggested correction: I listened to this carefully and it is incorrect. She does, in fact, say Collinwood. The enunciation is just a bit muddled.

Still sounds like "Hollywood" to me. But the correct name, in any case, is "Collinwood," not "Collonwood."

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk and the Actor - S5-E1

Corrected entry: Monk tells David about Trudy's murder, saying she told him that day she was going out to run an errand for his brother Ambrose. But this contradicts the facts established in "Mr. Monk & the 3 Pies," where Monk didn't know why Trudy had gone out that day until Ambrose told him. That's definitely not a fact that Monk would get wrong.

Correction: Given that Monk "found out" several times that Kelly street was not an address one must assume that his memory is not very reliable when it comes to Trudy's murder and everything surrounding it.

Correction: Well for one thing Trudy was supposed to be doing an errand for Ambrose that day however, as stated in previous episodes the errand was never specified and Monk did not understand what she was doing in the parking lot most likely because the errand had nothing to do with where she was. And, If I recall correctly even stated that she was supposed to be doing him an errand but ended up in the parking lot maybe waiting for someone. So monk in fact did not know what she was doing there.

Correction: Absolutely not true. Monk's memory of all things Trudy was impeccable. He'd spent years poring over every aspect of her murder, and would not under any circumstances have forgotten something this important.

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk Is on the Run (1) - S6-E15

Plot hole: *Spoilers* Monk and Stottlemeyer cook up an ingenious plan to make Monk appear dead, but how the fugitive Monk acquires his regular clothes (in place of Mitch's uniform), the bullet-proof vest and the gun is not addressed. The police are watching Monk's apartment, Disher is watching Natalie and Julie, and Sheriff Rollins is watching Stottlemeyer, leaving us to wonder just how they managed all this right under their fellow cops' noses. Suggested correction: Stottlemeyer is a police captain. The sheriff can't watch his every move, and there are still plenty of cops who are loyal enough to Stottlemeyer for him to get one of them to deliver them to Monk or leave the items somewhere for him to retrieve.

Captain Defenestrator

Nice theory, but there's absolutely no hint of it in the episode. The lack of any explanation creates a bit of a plot hole because it leaves us wondering.

Time Tunnel (1966)

Merlin the Magician - S1-E27

Deliberate mistake: Here, as in many other episodes, Doug and Tony are time-shifted wearing period (in this case, Viking) clothing. But they tumble into their next adventure magically wearing their left-behind 20th Century clothes again. (00:45:30)

Suggested correction: A comment, not a correction to your astute and correct observation about the Time Tunnel. Aside from it being episodic television that allows characters to look the same in all situations, I believe Tony and Doug keep their clothing, hair length, lack of facial hair, etc, because the Time Tunnel "remembered" the exact disposition of Tony and Doug when they first entered the Tunnel, allowing them to keep their clothing, hair length, etc., as they slip through time. Any "Time Tunnel" aficionados wishing to add more to this would make a fascinating discussion.

A valid speculation with which I agree, but as the poster himself points out, not a correction.

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk Makes A Friend - S5-E11

Continuity mistake: Monk leaves his front door standing open in anticipation of his new friend's arrival. No one goes near the front hall, but when Hal gets there, he lets himself in by opening a door that has somehow closed itself. (00:10:30 - 00:11:50)

Suggested correction: That wasn't the front door that was open. It was the door to the bathroom that is open, which is on the other end of the hallway.

Bishop73

No. It's the front door.

Jean G

The door that's open is the bathroom. You can see the sink and a towel hanging up.
