The Night of the Tottering Tontine - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: West demonstrates how the knife popped out of the chair upholstery when pressure was applied. His hand is inches from the blade in one shot, then disappears in the next close-up view. When it cuts back to the master shot, his hand is once again beside the knife. (00:20:20)

Continuity mistake: Part 3: Hitler enters the study and stands near the door with his hands clasped behind his back. The angle reverses, and his hands move instantly to his sides. Reverse again, and he's returned to his original stance. (00:20:00)

The Green Hornet (1966)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: "Hunters & the Hunted": The Black Beauty drives past a red and white 1957 Chevy BelAir parked on the street. In the next shot, from inside the car as they pass, the Chevy is suddenly parked in the same spot, but facing in the opposite direction. Next shot, as the bad guy follows them, the Chevy is facing forward again. (00:18:30)

Trivia: Prop master Joe Longo, a Ricardo Montalban and Fantasy Island fan, modified a small toy robot, painted a tux on it and used a poster to give it Tattoo's face. When Montalban first pulled into the studio parking lot, Longo sent the mechanical Tattoo toddling out to his car. Every day of the production after that, "Tattoo" arrived in the passenger seat of Montalban's car, came to the set with him, and went home every night to play around the actor's swimming pool.

The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13

Factual error: Fenlow begins shouting about "one nation, under God, indivisible." This series is set in the 1870s. The Pledge of Allegiance, from which these lines are taken, wasn't written until 1892. And the words "under God" weren't added until 1954. (00:46:55)

The Night of the Infernal Machine - S2-E14

Trivia: West collides with the cook and sends him sprawling face-down in a huge platter of gelatin. Before racing off again, West quips, "Sorry about that, chef!" This was a winking homage to the 60s spy comedy Get Smart and its bumbling hero Maxwell Smart's famous catch-phrase, "Sorry about that, Chief!" (00:47:30)

The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13

Continuity mistake: West crashes through the French doors, breaking out the center section and leaving a partial framework on either side. In the next several shots, the center support and one broken frame reappear and disappear repeatedly. (00:02:30)

Can't Run, Can't Hide - S2-E10

Trivia: Casey's framed certificate says that he won the "Borchiver Award for outstanding service with disadvantaged children." The name is a nod to series producer Richard Borchiver.

The Night of the Ready-Made Corpse - S2-E11

Revealing mistake: The town of Wickenberg has very peculiar sunlight: it casts shadows in several directions at once. Also notable is the far end of its main street, where a distinct line of demarcation reveals the presence of a painted studio backdrop. (00:00:10)
