The Prisoner (1967)

The Chimes of Big Ben - S1-E2

Factual error: The truck transporting Number 6 and Nadia drives on the left side of the road. Fine for England, where the scene was shot - but they're supposed to be in Poland, where everyone drives on the right.

The Prisoner (1967)

Many Happy Returns - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: When Number 6 jumps from the gunrunners' boat, he's on the starboard (right) side. In the next shot, though, the bad guy shoots at him from the boat's port (left) side. (00:20:30)

To Stand for Something More - S3-E6

Continuity mistake: Much fuss is made throughout this episode about Blue being left in charge of the High Chaparral "for the first time." But it isn't the first time. He was left in charge once before, in the previous season, and no one made a big deal of it in that episode at all.

The Prisoner (1967)

A Change of Mind - S1-E12

Revealing mistake: Number 6 sets up exercise equipment in the woods and performs several athletic stunts on a bar. In close-up, he's bare handed. In long shots, however, the stunt double becomes apparent because he's wearing gloves.

The Prisoner (1967)

Arrival - S1-E1

The Twilight Zone (1959)

Come Wander with Me - S5-E34

Trivia: Producer William Froug rejected an extremely nervous young singer/actress auditioning for the part of Mary Rachel, and recalls thinking that "I'll probably kick myself. She'll probably be a big star." He turned out to be right on both counts. The aspiring young singer's name was Liza Minnelli.

The Twilight Zone (1959)

Mr. Garrity and the Graves - S5-E32

Deliberate mistake: Garrity blackmails the town citizens into paying him not to resurrect their unlamented "loved ones." Amazingly, every man in the saloon just happens to have hundreds of dollars ($500 - $1200 each) in his pocket to pay up with. In 1890 money, that's roughly equivalent to a group of modern-day bar patrons all carrying ten to thirty thousand dollars around in their pockets. The scenario was apparently used in spite of its incredibility just to more quickly advance the plot.

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Eddie knocks down a thug who tries to stop him from putting Toro into a cab. The man's hat falls off and lands on the concrete. He gets up as the cab drives away, then turns to retrieve the hat, which has now moved itself off the sidewalk and into the bushes.

The Twilight Zone (1959)

Caesar and Me - S5-E28

Trivia: This is the only episode of the entire Twilight Zone series scripted by a woman. Adele (credited as "A.T.") Strassfield was producer William Froug's secretary.

The Glory Soldiers - S2-E18

Revealing mistake: When the rurales chase Manolito, he's riding Macadoo, his sorrel horse with the blond mane and tail. But the use of a stunt horse becomes obvious when Mano hides by leaping off into an arroyo and urging his mount to lie down beside him. Suddenly "Macadoo's" coat is a much darker brown and his mane and tail have also turned brown. He becomes a blond sorrel again, though, in the next scene.

The Twilight Zone (1959)

What's in the Box - S5-E24

Continuity mistake: When Phyllis stumbles back toward the window, both its draperies are neatly in place. Next shot, just before she crashes through the glass, the drapes are suddenly half pulled down and a broken curtain rod that wasn't there seconds before hangs down over the window. (00:23:15)
