There was a movie that had a woman asleep in the back seat of a car while she was wearing earphones. A strange green fog goes into the car and begins to undress her. As she wakes up she realizes that she's being raped by some demonic creature.

Answer: Sounds like Trick or treat (1986).

Looking for 90's or early 2000s movie with two brothers home for a wedding or maybe a funeral. The good brother's fiance ends up cheating with the criminal brother at a hotel.

Answer: "Feeling Minnesota" (1996) with Cameron Diaz, Keanu Reeves and Vincent D'Onofrio. A beautiful ex-stripper is reluctantly marrying one brother, but she's in love with the other brother, and she runs off with him on her wedding day. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0116289/.

Charles Austin Miller

I'm looking for a film about an unhappy wife who falls in love with her young son's female teacher. I think it's set in the 1940's/50's, British, possibly made for TV as that's the only place I've seen it but could have been general release. Thanks.

Answer: The movie, "Tell It to the Bees," has a similar plot, but it's the town's female doctor, with a son, who has the affair with one of her patients.

There was a movie I saw maybe in the 80's. It was about a boy who ends up with some pirates that travel to different planets. During the movie the captain's crew is getting killed by several enemies. The captain is seriously injured so the boy takes some tools to save the captain's life. The movie ends with the captain living and either leaving the kid on another planet or returning him to his home planet.

Answer: It is a low budget B-Movie, Space Raiders (1983). Vince Edwards is the Captain of the pirates. A young boy accidentally stows away on his ship and becomes a pawn between several pirate factions.

I am searching for the name of an old comedy, I believe, possibly black and white I saw as a child. Part of the story centers around a woman trying to lure a man to marry her. To do so she refuses to take off her white gloves until he becomes so obsessed with what is beneath them he marries her.

jackrabbit1313

Chosen answer: I think the movie you're describing is Homicidal (1961). A transvestite wears gloves to hid his manly hands. He needs a marriage license in a Hitchcockian plot to gain an inheritance from his sister. A low budget dark movie.

I'm trying to identify a movie I saw in the 1960s or 70s. A girl's mother is trying to make her think she's crazy. There's a scene where she sees her dead father's body in her playhouse and she runs away through the woods. A hand reaches out from leaves on the path and grabs her ankle. Freaked me out as a child and I'd like to see it again.

lyleo

Chosen answer: It's "A Taste of Evil" (1971). It stars Barbara Stanwyck, Barbara Parkins and Roddy McDowall. Barbara Parkins plays a young rape victim, recently released from a mental institution. She begins experiencing "flashbacks"; are these merely illusions, or is she being systematically tortured to drive her insane by a mystery villain? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067828.

Arris

I am after the name of a movie where a woman goes through a day trying to escape people after her. In the end it turns out the whole town has been acting to scare her. In the end she is tied to a chair and we find out she murdered a child and as punishment she receives an injection at the end of each day and when she wakes up she has to relive the same traumatic day again. I have searched everywhere for this movie.

deniseward

Chosen answer: This is an episode of the TV show "Black Mirror", called "White Bear". It's season 2, episode 2.

Jon Sandys

I'm looking for the title of a movie about a man who murdered his wife, and seemingly got away with it, but a woman is pretending to be his living wife and all of their friends and family say the impostor really is his wife. Not sure if it was made for TV or not.

Answer: There are a couple of films that use this story. "One of My Wives is Missing" from 1976, starring Jack Klugman and Elizabeth Ashley could be it. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075015/) It was later remade in 1986 as "Vanishing Act, " starring Mike Farrell and Margot Kidder. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092148/). (SPOILERS) In both versions, everyone knows that he did it and made it look like an accident, but they didn't have enough proof to arrest him. The "wife" is a police detective who happened to be a dead ringer for his wife, and the friends and family are cooperating with the police to gaslight him into confessing.

Captain Defenestrator

Answer: Thank you! I've been wanting to ask this question for years. I remember watching this as a kid. I remember the ending where the husband went back to the car where he left his wife dead. Finally have the answer. Https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWEwR6Yj8Zc.

Quite happy to help.

Captain Defenestrator

There was this film I watched a few years ago that isn't very well known. I do not know any of the actors in it, but it's about this new girl at this school who comes between two best friends. The new girl is obsessed with one of them, so she invites the other one to a fake party with them and when they get to a warehouse, she murders the girl so that her and the girl she's obsessed with can be best friends. Stabs her. The other girl who the killer is obsessed with wants to tell the dead girl's parents but she's being forced not to, so the dead girl's mother investigates and ins out herself. Does anyone know what this film is called?

kira250

Chosen answer: Death clique. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3509114/.

Please help me remember the name of this movie. It is from the 1980s, possibly the early 1990s. A teenage girl, maybe college student, is following newspaper stories about a criminal and fantasizes about him. I am mostly sure that the girl is blonde. I remember a scene where she is in her house's kitchen. Her stepfather/mother's boyfriend makes romantic advances. There is an implication that he has sexually abused her, or that she willingly slept with him before, but regrets it.

Answer: Fatal Charm, 1990.

I'm looking for a Christmas film that starts out with a boy noticing that one of the reindeer in the Christmas lights is missing. The film ends something along the lines of a group of people rescuing the missing reindeer from a pound in a pick up truck. I think it dates from the late 90s to the early 2000's.

Answer: Sounds like the movie Prancer Returns.

There is a movie about a girl who is raised by the murderer who killed her parents in a car accident. Then she married him, I am not sure about the marriage part. I am trying to find this movie, can anybody please help me?

Pk

Answer: If the girl had a younger brother and the man had a physician/addict wife, it is probably The Glass House (2001?). The man made sexual advances towards the girl and set her up to look guilty and making false reports, but there was no marriage.

KeyZOid

I'm trying to remember a black/white film where a man is diagnosed to live only several months. He decides to make a worthwhile time of it, and leads a happy life only to find out he is not mortally ill cause there was a mix-up, only to die in an accident.

Answer: "Last Holiday" (1950) with Alec Guinness. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042665/.

A movie with a gang of black kids - one of them shot some people, it might have been by accident. The kid was still in school and he liked his teacher - his teacher thought he was a great student but he couldn't go on the class field trip with them because of what he did. I can't remember the movie. It's a pretty old movie, maybe around 1990's.

1970's - 80' TV movie. Actors in a small town help police to catch a man who murdered his wife by taking roles such as the butcher.

Senaph

Chosen answer: It is two movies, One of my Wives is Missing (1976) and the remake Vanishing Act (1986). Both were written and produced by the team behind the TV series, Murder, She Wrote.

I just cannot remember the name of this film. I believe it begins with a boy coming out of school, observed by a shadowy figure in a fedora hat. The boy attends the funeral of his father and again the shadowy figure is watching. He lives with his pregnant mother and stepfather (works on the trains). The shadowy figure turns up at their house and it is his father, who's not dead. At some point the boy and mother go to his teacher's house where she lends him a camera of her deceased husband. Boy goes off with father (and possibly newborn sibling) and father is chased by police (I think). They stay in a deserted warehouse (possibly down in London). Eventually he returns home to mother, and I think the film ends with the boy going to the cinema to see a film. I think it was set in the 1940s, and definitely in Britain. Please help!

I am looking for a movie of which I remember very little. In the climax, an old man poisons his victim but before dying, the victim manages to take a photo of himself. The murderer then stuffs the body in a wardrobe. He is caught when his photos are developed.

I'm looking for a movie (probably made for TV) that has a rich kid hiring a smart kid to attend college for him so his father won't disinherit him for failing one more time. Only saw the beginning of it. 1970-1980 time frame.

Shasta73

Chosen answer: Sounds like "Making the Grade" starring Judd Nelson, which came out in 1984 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087666/.

Heather Benton

I'm trying to figure out what a movie is that I watched as a child. It looked like it was a 60's maybe 70's movie. A woman starts rolling around in brown stuff and bubbly foam stuff that is gushing out of the walls filling what looks like a round living room.

Answer: Sounds like you're thinking of the movie version of the musical 'Tommy': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThyvUpVlHhA.

Brian Katcher

There was a black-and-white comedy movie about a man and a woman who believe that they are brother and sister. One of the constant running gags in the movie is how the man discovers and constantly tries to tell people that there are 13 dead bodies in the cellar. The end of the movie has the woman trying to tell the man the same thing but he informs her that she isn't really his sister. They drive off together while a cop at the house shouts after them that he's a little teapot.

Answer: "Arsenic And Old Lace" (1944) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0036613/. You can watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCWBDwkhGN0.
