I am looking for the title of a movie I saw on the Lifetime channel within the last five years (but I'm not sure if it was made that recently). A dark-haired girl begins dating a boy, he gets her pregnant and takes her to some ranch/farm where the owners are planning to keep the baby. The place also has other pregnant girls. I think her name might have been Wendy, but I'm not sure. At one point, her mom visits the place and tries to convince her to come home. Her mom confesses that she once had a baby boy as a teenager and gave him up for adoption.

Answer: are you thinking of Moment of Truth: Cradle of Conspiracy starring Danica Mc Keller?

I remember an episode of Looney Tunes or Merry Melodies which I can't remember its name; throughout the entire episode, a wolf is following Little Red Riding Hood to her grandma's house and keeps seeing this little fellow with a funny walk and a big nose (I think it's egghead but I'm not sure) who passes through the scene and whistles a tune. At the end, after reaching grandma's house, he sees the whistling guy once again and asks who he is. The guy knocks him out with a large hammer and says: "I'm a hunter". Can someone please tell me the name of that episode?

Answer: It's "Little Red Walking Hood". It's exactly as you describe, only in the end, the little guy says, "I'm the hero." The cartoon can be found on the set Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 5.

I'm looking for a movie that I saw years ago but can't remember the name. A couple hires a babysitter who tells the two children (a boy and girl) about a secret island. I think she may have had an affair with the husband. In the end of the movie she tries to kidnap the children on a raft telling them she is taking them to the island, she throws one of them out of the raft. In one of the end scenes the mother of the children slaps the babysitter on the beach.

Answer: Summer Girl (1983 TV movie) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086385/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1.

Trying to remember the title of a movie. Its animated, intelligent and most likely in the Drama-genre. Its got like 4 or 5 main characters. And a key sentence that gets brought up is "Less Theory, More Action" . Also, one of the scenes is them trying to explain dreams, and goes like "To figure out if you're awake or its a dream, try turning off the light switch in a room, the lights don't change by a switch in a dream." Time range of production, 2002-2008 maybe? Anyone seen it? Know the title?

Answer: I think it's "Waking Life. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243017/.

Hi, I'm looking for a tv commercial that aired in the 1980's. (Browsing your site it looks like you do commercials as well as movies and tv.) Anyway, it was a pizza delivery commercial (possibly Domino's) that took place in a haunted house. The only scenes I remember are the pizza delivery boy crossing a pit of snakes and having to choose one of three doors. As I recall, the commercial ended with the delivery boy still stuck in the haunted house. Do you have any information on this? What I mostly remember is being so scared as a child that I had to leave the room whenever the commercial aired.

Answer: I remember something very similar on the PBS math show 'Square One.' It was a sketch about probability, with the hapless pizza man having to choose one of four keys to escape from a mummy, decide which of many snakes were real, and ended with him being chased by a ghost when he chose the wrong door. Could that have been it?

I remember watching a film in which a girl, another girl, and the father of one of them get into a car accident. One girl survives and she has to have her face reconstructed. The doctors end up making her look like the other girl that was in the car. I've searched Google and IMDB with no luck.

Chosen answer: A movie called Scalpel (aka False Face) 1977. Robert Lansing plays a surgeon, who finds a topless dancer beaten, her face damaged, on the street. He operates her, giving her the face of his long lost daughter. He hopes to use her to get at an inheritance, but the real daughter returns.

About 23 years ago, I remember seeing a movie in the theater. It was a horror movie. I can remember certain events happening in the movie. A head gets blown up in a microwave, a circular saw flies through the air and kills somebody. I think all of these things take place in an old house. I vaguely remember an old pier leading out to a pond that somebody may have been killed on. I thought at first the name of the movie was something like "Superstition", but I have searched and searched and cannot find anything on this movie. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Answer: The film was Superstition (1982).

I wanted to know the title of a movie. I am not sure when it was produced but I watched it a lot back in the mid - late '80s. The only scene I can remember is one where a dwarf or smaller individual finds a ring with a green stone in the mouth of a gargoyle and goes running because the queen would be so happy that he found the ring. It is not animated. I have been trying to figure this out for years.

Chosen answer: I think you mean Wizards of the lost kingdom - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090333.

I saw this movie many years ago, it looked to be late 80's early 90's. It was about a guy who saved a girl in a robbery and just before he died he asked her out. Later he comes back from the dead, but is decomposing. At the end he goes back in time to the point of the robbery and gets shot again but this time there is a locket that blocks the bullet that the girl gave him in the future.

I heard somewhere that there is a movie that was made sometime in the past few years about the death of Nirvana vocalist/guitarist Kurt Cobain. Is this true, and if yes, what is the name of the movie?

Answer: There are several. 2005's "Last Days," directed by Gus Van Sant is a fictional film based on Cobain's last hours. There is also a 1998 documentary titled, "Kurt and Courtney" by filmmaker, Nick Broomfield, that investigates allegations that Cobain was murdered.

Would like to know the title of a movie, probably from the 70s or early 80s, in which a car crashes into a tanker truck and becomes covered in a molten cheese-like substance. There may also have been a scene with a room full of balloons. This question was already asked and answered, but it is not Modern Problems (1981) as was suggested. Thanks for the help.

Answer: It was the 1980 parody of popular Detective shows called "Murder Can Hurt You".

In the original Pink Panther films, which is the one where Peter Sellers is at a hotel desk and asks if the clerk's dog bites, but then gets bitten with the clerk saying that is not his dog?

greydane

Chosen answer: The movie is "The Pink Panther Strikes Again".

CCARNI

I'm also looking for the title to an old science fiction movie I saw on TV a long time ago, possibly 1970's to early 1990's era. It took place in a post-apocalyptic world and features desert landscapes with sparsely-distributed debris of what was, back then, modern technology. It started with a wanderer staying at a friend's place before it is attacked. He has a sword and can fight, but, when taken in by a family, that family hides his sword from him. To protect this family from bandits, the wanderer duels the bandit leader with staffs. At the end, the men who killed his friend show up, and he is given his sword back to fight them with.

Answer: Sounds like Steel Dawn. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094033/.

Hello. I'm looking for the title of a children's animated movie, probably 80's-90's, that features a villain with a glass eye and a black bird that constantly calls out: nevermore. At the end, a flock of these black birds covers the villain, and, when they disperse, all that's left is the villain's glass eye, suspended in midair, which then drops to the ground.

Answer: It sounds like "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story". At the end of the movie, Professor Screweys is consumed by a murder of crows leaving behind the screw he had as an eye.

Garlonuss

Looking for a TV movie title and the lead actor's name; I believe he played a teacher whose female student became very attracted to him. The student showed up at a yard sale (or car wash, or some kind of fund raiser) in shorts and tried to seduce him. In the end, she murdered one of her own friends and made it look like she herself was dead, then went to the teacher's house and attacked his girlfriend. Who is the actor? He appeared tall, was handsome, dirty blonde or brown hair, and has been in a few television movies.

Answer: Wild Things. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120890/ It was a theatrical release. The lead actors were Matt Dillon and Kevin Bacon.

Does anybody know the name of a tv-series (English I think) about a stewardess who has 2 husbands in different countries, and they of course don't know about each other. So she leads 2 different lives, one in Italy and one in England, if I remember correctly.

Answer: You're probably thinking of "Coffee, Tea or Me?" from 1973, starring Karen Valentine.

I've seen a few new commercials (here in the US) that show characters in scenes from popular movies, talking about whatever the commercial is advertising. For example, a commercial for a cell phone company has characters in the Island if Misfit Toys scene from "Rudolph". Does anyone know how these commercials are made if the original voice actors might not be around, or might have aged greatly and have different-sounding voices?

Answer: If the original actors are no longer living or their voices have changed significantly, new actors with similar voices are used. It's always possible to piece together old recorded dialog, but it sounds unnatural.

I'm looking for this movie. The plot is about a boy who is driving along at night when he sees a girl getting beaten up. He then pulls over and sticks up for the girl. And after a while he then is beaten to death by accident, then they all leave and he goes missing.,Then the movie follows him on as he becomes a ghost and is trying to tell everyone where his body is, but because he's a ghost he can't communicate. As this is going on, the girl he stuck up for is feeling depressed and trying her hardest to find his body but it seems for nothing. SPOILER: they find him in the dam.

Answer: The sounds quite a lot like "The Invisible", starring Justin Chatwin and Margarita Levieva.

Phixius

I'm trying to remember a cartoon I had a tape of when I was younger. It involved a live action cat and dog, where the dog chased the cat around while the cats (and possibly the dogs) thoughts were voice acted, and then the cat would hide somewhere and fantasise about beating the dog in various situations. The show would then switch to animation with the cat taking the role of various pop culture icons, such as batman or captain kirk and fighting a version of the dog in the cartoon. Then the show would go back to live action and the dog would be chased away somehow.

Gary O'Reilly

Chosen answer: It was a Saturday morning show that Hal Sutherland produced in 1975 titled "The Secret Lives of Waldo Kitty. It was a parody of the 1947 Danny Kaye movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty;" Walter Mitty was a character created by James Thurber.
