There was a movie in the early 70's that included a young doctor trying to hook up with a young woman, whose mother kept trying to keep them apart. At one point, he was racing to her rescue while hollering Medical Emergency to get people out of the way. There was a scene with them in a hot tub at which point her mother pulled her out while covering her with a towel.

What is the name of the movie when the girl kills people every time she sees spots and she doesn't realize it? It takes place on the beach.

Alicia Holloway

Chosen answer: Psycho Beach party - it's a playback to the movie Gidget.

What is the movie when there is a white woman and a black man who own a very superpower hotel and have a child. They get a babysitter - the wife traps her in the hotel and has her set up to be killed, then they kill her friend instead, so the lady tries to kill her. In the end the babysitter ends up with the man.

Chosen answer: Murder on the 13th Floor. Starring Jordan Ladd as the babysitter. It airs on the LMN, at least twice a month.

It was a strange movie I saw on TV where a boy was in his school during a shooting and he was looking for his friend to get him out of the school. He kept going around to people and asking them if they had seen his friend, and they kept responding in strange ways and just generally acting weird. In the end he found out his friend was the sniper on the roof and his friend told him how his family had all been snipers in wars in the past and that is why he was doing it. I would really appreciate any help finding out what this movie is.

Chosen answer: The Delicate Art of the Rifle: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0126260/.

I remember this quote from a movie or TV show I once saw, but I can't remember the name of it. It went something like this: One or two men (I forget how many), possibly spies, try to escape from the villain(s) by jumping through a window. But the glass doesn't smash. One of them comments on how strong the glass is and asks if it's an American invention. A woman (possibly the villain) then says "Actually we stole it off the Russians."

Chosen answer: It was from the 1980 TV movie Wild Wild West Revisited. A reunion movie of the old 60's TV series, starring Robert Conrad as James West and Ross Martin as Artemis Gordon. The duo are called back into government service, when the son of their arch enemy Dr. Loveless, threatens the world with atomic bombs and replacing world leaders with duplicates. Two British agents capture the duo and demand to know what they know about the fake Queen Victoria, when they refuse, they try to escape by crashing through some windows.

I saw a film not long ago but can't remember the title. It features a bumbling spy, and in one scene when he is trying to break into a place, he pulls out a credit card, types some numbers on the side and it emits a laser beam. When he is finished, he can't turn the laser off properly and it burns a hole in his pants. Does anyone know this film?

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: I haven't seen the film in a few years, but I believe it's from the movie Johnny English. Starring Rowan Atkinson.

Hi everyone! I need to find the movie from this picture. My friend has this photo on his mobile phone and doesn't remember where it comes from. Please, if someone recognizes it, I'll appreciate it. https://31.media.tumblr.com/1591397126afff96159b91587f8cfb71/tumblr_n6ecvjbKiZ1qmn5lfo1_500.jpg.

Chosen answer: Firelight.

I am trying to figure out the title of a movie about two friends in prison... I know one was an African American but not sure of the other. The movie starts out with them in the prison yard and then starts showing flashbacks of how they got there. The movie switches back and forth between scenes of them in their youth and then of them older and their trials of dealing with prison life.

I saw a trailer a few years ago for a movie that looked interesting but I've forgotten the title. All I remember is that it was vaguely steampunky and/or futuristic and a sniper seemed to play an important part (who maybe wore a mask/goggles?). Fairly sure it was live action - sorry it's so vague, but maybe it'll ring a bell for someone.

Chosen answer: Probably "Franklyn" from 2008 - Ryan Philippe plays Preest, a masked detective with a steampunk-style sniper rifle.

I need help finding a movie that I saw about 15 years ago. It was I believe set in Japan, with a group of fighters (maybe samurai) battling it out in a windmill or something of the sort. One of the fighters, a white man, is injured, then is taken care of a man and his daughter. The man is eventually nursed back to life, and there is a scene where she daughter just lies with the injured fighter. Then he's healthy again and I don't remember the rest. Does anyone know this movie?

Chosen answer: That is from the Bushido Blade. It starred Richard Boone, Frank Converse and Laura Gemser. Admiral Perry arrives in Japan to sign a treaty. A rare Samurai sword is given as present for the US president. It's stolen by Renegade Shogun who opposes the treaty. A trio of US soldiers are sent into Japan to retrieve it. They get ambushed by Ninjas and get separated. The young officer is injured and nursed by a farmer and his daughter. They fall in love. When the soldiers are reunited and retrieved the sword, the final battle takes place at a windmill. Which they set fire to and topple into their enemies.

15 years ago I watched a movie. It was funny and little bit of a survival movie. I don't know the name but some scenes I remember. A man and woman go for a journey somewhere in a private airplane. Their airplane got stuck in the trees. When the fuelling of the plane was finished then the man used his wine as the fuel. When the man was hungry, he stole an ostrich's egg and the ostrich ran toward him. A Mongoose bit the wheel of the airplane and punctured it.

Chosen answer: Definitely "The Gods Must Be Crazy II" (1980).

Looking for the name of a war movie, prior to 1975. The conclusion takes place on a Naval ship. A German spy is discovered because he mispronounces a racial slur that every "American" knows how to pronounce.

I'm trying to figure out the title of a movie. It starts out with this guy who spots a naked woman in the woods. The man later decides to kidnap this woman and ties her up in his basement or woodshed. He also tries to conceal the fact from his family that he did this. His son, later, tries to fool around with her for a bit by breaking into the basement which his dad has locked, but doesn't fool around that much. It's a fairly recent movie but nobody knows what I'm talking about.

Chosen answer: The name of the movie is "The Woman," which was made in 2011.

There is a movie about a boy who is a part of his school's swim team. He eventually discovers that he's a merman. To make things problematic, he is stalked by a man who, during a swim competition, notices fins start to appear on the kid's legs.

Chosen answer: You're thinking of the 1999 Disney movie "The Thirteenth Year." A teen-aged boy learns his mother is a mermaid.

Looking for a movie where the Dad is away (I think at war), and the Mum gets sick and dies. 3 boys are put in different homes and Dad comes home and is looking for them. He finds 2 of them and at last finds no. 3, who is crippled from abuse. I think the title has the word "home" in it.

Chosen answer: Sounds like "After the promise" starring Mark Harmon, made in 1987.

I can remember a film with two detectives searching for a killer, one is an older man with a daughter who is a student nurse, she lives in a shared house with other nurses. The other detective is younger, and very good looking, he begins a relationship with the daughter. It turns out that the younger detective is the killer. I remember him breaking into the shared house, killing several young women, wearing nothing but some very small underpants! And then chasing the other detective's daughter down the street, again, wearing nothing but underpants. I think its an 80s film, or possibly early 90s?

Chosen answer: 10 to Midnight, starring Charles Bronson. At the end of the movie, the psychotic killer told him that he would only spend a few years in jail, because he was sick. He then said "I'll be back." Charles Bronson said "No you won't" and shot him.

Looking for the name of a movie I saw in the early 90's, I think it was a made for TV movie. A boy is wrongfully convicted of killing a girl that he liked in a pool house or garage. There is one scene that sticks with me. After he is convicted it shows them burning a box of evidence which has a bandanna in it, which was worn by another character.

I'm looking for a made for TV, possibly in the 1980's. It was a midday movie in Australia. From what I remember, there is a man driving his car up a road, and there are fields and trees on either side. All of a sudden, a women comes out from the side, covered in blood. The man stops, and the woman says to him that there is a killer after her (and I think that her husband has been killed). The guy in the car goes looking for the killer, but you never actually see him - a little bit like Duel. They are going in and out of old derelict barns. I think that the main guy was dark haired, one of the top TV stars of the 70's, 80's. It was not a horror movie, but a thriller. For some reason, I remember that it was filmed in Canada.

lizsmovies

There was a movie about a small boy and a girl who had evil powers. What really made them terrifying is that they had black fingernails and whenever they touched somebody, that person would be burned alive. This is not Children of the Damned or the sequel, and it is not Children of the Corn.

Chosen answer: This is a 1980 Troma horror movie called "The Children" or "The Children of Ravensback".
