I'd like to find the title of a made-for-TV movie from, I think, the early 80s. A group of high school buddies has gathered at a remote cabin, possibly to celebrate graduation, when a girl who has been date-raped and escaped from her rapist, comes to them for help. One or more of them rapes her, too. Years later, one of them has a successful career and plans to run for public office, so he doesn't want his past to come to light. Another one is in prison, and one day he is drawing a picture of himself on his cell wall. For some reason, maybe fire or something in his eyes, his cellmate throws a bucket of water which causes the picture to look like Jesus. He "gets religion" and becomes a jailhouse preacher. Their youthful misdeeds come to light somehow, and they have to deal with it. The girl becomes a follower of the jailhouse "preacher" who has formed a cult, without realizing who he is.

What was the title of a 1980's movie (TV movie I think) about a black family that moves back south after the matriarch of the family dies? The family, concerned about racial tensions in the south, is hesitant to leave the north, but after deciding to move, finds things in the south more tolerant than expected.
I watched a movie about a man who had an affair with a married woman, and one day he is arrested and charged with the husband's murder. During the trial, the woman that he slept with is called to the stand to testify, but when the man looks at her, he realizes it is not the same woman he slept with but someone else entirely. He tries telling the judge that he doesn't know the woman and demands to know who she is, but is removed from the courtroom shouting the entire time that she isn't the right woman.
Answer: "Back Stab", starring James Brolin as the innocent man and June Chadwick (of the original V series) as the real wife, who framed him for her husband's murder. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099085/.
What is the name of the recently released movie about a blended gay biracial un married family (Asian dad, white dad, + son who is legally only the son of the white guy) and the white dad dies suddenly before completing guardianship paperwork, so the white in laws try to take the son away?
I have been remembering 2 movies I saw as a child but cannot remember the names. I believe they are from the 70s or 80s but not certain. The first is about a guy who unknowingly has a supernatural or magical power. The movie has tons of "people" with powers. From witches the half angels to half demons. Anyways the place he stays at is like a home for people like that. It is a comedy that has lots of funny scenes in it. The second movie is a space movie about a ranger becoming an assassin. He seeks revenge for his people being killed. I believe he is Altarian. Along the way he finds the princess and rescues her. The 2 biggest things I recall are a bathroom scene where he is running from some guys and jumps into a window and land in her bathtub with her in it, and lots of singing in the movie. Please help if anyone remembers either of these movies.
There was a movie about two boys who are best friends. One of them is a scientific genius and shows his friend a machine that he made that could be used to immediately cause plants to grow faster. He demonstrates this by accelerating the growth of tomato plants. One night his friend gets trapped in the machine and it kicks on, causing the boy to grow into an adult. The boy then takes a job as a principal while his best friend tries to fix the machine and get his friend back to being a kid again.
Answer: 14 going on 30 (1988).
What is the movie where a woman is accused for murder and is either in jail or a mental asylum. Right at the end you see the real murderer outside where he flicks his cigarette lighter three times (this being the signature move of the murderer throughout the movie)?
Chosen answer: This sounds like "Under Suspicion" with Liam Neeson and Laura San Giacomo: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105691.
I wondered if any one can help me figure out a film I watched when I was a kid - it was about a truck driver who gets killed out on the road, and the man's dad drives around and searches for who it was. At the end of the film it turned out to be a woman - I don't know if it was a true story.
Chosen answer: Try "Revenge on the Highway" (1992).
What was the name of a movie around 1965 to 1967 about teenagers who sold watches to buy racing betting tickets. At the end, the man who purchased them for the teens bought a big winning ticket, but died at the racetrack and dropped the winning ticket into thousands of discarded tickets at the track?
I'm trying to find the name of a movie where people get paid to be living mannequins inside a department store. The manager gives them a hard time by trying to make them move during their shift. One night this guy and female employees are dressed up in a wedding outfits and witness either a murder or bank robbery. The criminal looks inside the window trying to figure out if the people he sees are real or fake then leaves. Is there any one who knows the name? I think it came out about the same time Wedlock came out.
Answer: The movie is called Flinch, starring Judd Nelson and Gina Gershon.
Answer: This is definitely "Flinch." In the movie, they both have jobs as living mannequins but they can never be allowed to move. If they get caught moving by their boss, they will be fired on the spot. One night, after Gina's boyfriend stands her up, Judd treats to dinner in the department store. While looking out of the display window, they notice a man and woman. At first it looks like they are witnessing a romantic interlude, but instead, they watch the man murder the woman. Although they stay completely still. The murderer doesn't fall for it. The next morning, when they tell their boss, he doesn't believe them so they quit.
I have been trying to search for a movie, TV show episode or TV movie with this plot: I remember that there were kidnapped girls kept in some kind of basement, tied up and gagged, hanging from the ceiling. The kidnapper would put a wedding dress on the girl he was going to kill. One of the girls manages to escape by pretending to be the kidnapper son's dead mother and she sets him on fire. It is not: The Cellar Door, Bereavement, The Hamiltons. Could be a TV episode. Please help!
Answer: This was an episode of Law & Order SVU. Not sure what year though.
What's the name of this movie? It has to be from the 80s/early 90s. Hair/clothing was current with the time. I remember it being about a dad who gets re-married to a woman who is only marrying him for his money but he has no clue. The wedding is outdoor like in a park area. Once she ties the knot she starts secretly changing everything and she does not like the dad's kid (can't remember if it was boy/girl) I think she secretly makes the kid miserable. She redecorates the house and particularly the kid's bedroom in a way that the kid hates tremendously. I think she redecorates using an excessive amount of the color red. In the end, I think the dad/new wife split and possibly the kid spends the night on a park bench.
Answer: Sounds to me like it might be Problem Child 2.
There was a movie I watched sometime in the early to mid 90s. It was about a woman whose friends were being killed one at a time. In the end of the movie she confronts the killer who is another woman. According to the killer, when she was just a child, she had a birthday party at her house but everyone ignored her and paid more attention to the other woman. Angry about this, she was going to burn the woman's hair to get even. Unfortunately, she held the candle behind her and it caused her own hair to catch on fire and also disfigured her at the same time.
Answer: It could be the 1981 horror film Happy Birthday to me...although I don't recall the candle scene you mentioned.
Several years ago I watched a movie about a guy that finds an old war plane loaded with medals and whisky that was under water. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I would like to watch it again. I think of it every time I see the movie Memphis Belle.
Chosen answer: This film is 1981's Treasure of the Yankee Zephyr (also titled Race for the Yankee Zephyr) It was filmed in New Zealand and starred Ken Wahl and Donald Pleasence.
I watched this movie years ago so I can't remember all the details, but I believe it took place in the 1800s based upon their clothing. It was about sisters and they had to go multiple funerals which may have been for some of the sisters that died, and when people died that had to wear black for a year.
For about 30 years I've been trying to find out the title of a black and white movie from the 30s - 50s. I fancy it might have starred someone like Jimmy Stewart. It was about a husband (and father) from a well-off community who. I think, gets hit by a train and suffers amnesia. At the end of the film, he inadvertently comes across his old house at around Christmas time, and looks through the window, but is promptly sent on his way, unrecognised by his own family.
There was an animated movie in the 80's or 90's about a small girl being chased by werewolves. If I remember, they want to turn her into a werewolf as well. She is helped by a talking toad and with his help she manages to escape.
I am looking for a made for television movie that came out years ago. The movie is about a family with 2 young sons. The father favors the youngest son and is cold to the other. One day both boys went for a boat ride. The youngest boy accidentally falls off the boat and starts to drown. The older son tries to save him but he hesitates at first. The young boy drowns. The older son is under suspicion and might go to court. The father blames his older son for what happened. I believe that the mother separates from the father and supports her son and the father doesn't support him. That's the plot does anyone know the name? Thanks.
Looking for a movie in the mid-80's. I remember a vehicle gets dropped in the jungle named H.A.R.V. And in one shoot out a guy is blown out of his shoes by a shotgun behind a counter. I think a girl hired this man and his buddy to find her sister.
My daughter says I watched this film with her. Four lads drinking and visiting clubs, one was quite violent. An overweight guy at a burger joint found a plain girl he liked...a teen boy ran for the train home with his girl.
