I remember part of this movie from the late 70's. There is a woman with long hair in the woods being hunted by a man after she escaped from a shed. I remember her being caught and hoisted upside down like she were a deer. I also remember her going through the woods and getting caught in a bear trap, then crawling into the bushes to hide. I though is was the movie "Rituals" but where is no woman in that film. It is in that same time frame - '75-'77ish.

I can't seem to remember the name of a movie that features a group of kids going through an obstacle course. The only things I remember are the obstacle course and a girl that has diabetes but doesn't tell anyone and falls or faints. I would assume it is from the 1980s or early 1990s but I could be wrong.

I am searching for a title of a film. I watched this particular film on HBO or Showtime in the early 90's. Do not believe that this film made it to the theaters and was probably released anywhere from '88- '92. The film is a comedy/dark comedy that starred an adult teenage girl who falls for a drifter guy and follows him to a different city. In the beginning of this film, the teenage girl hilariously breaks up with her boyfriend. Shortly later, the now ex-boyfriend approaches the girl's father who was leaving for work and states something similar to the following, " your cunt daughter broke up with me."I believe the drifter guy/new boyfriend may have been a mechanic. Otherwise, I do not remember any other information. For some reason, I thought this film was titled something similar to " True Romance" or "True Love".

I watched this movie when I was younger, it started when a woman was sentenced to her death by hanging. Her lover was about to save but he was too late, so she died and her lover can't accept this, so he chopped her up then stitched her back together so she lived again. I don't know what happens after but I'm looking forward to know if anyone can tell me what movie this is

Which Jimmy Stewart movie has a scene on the front porch with an aunt saying something like, "People move to the city to make enough money to buy the farm they left in the first place."

I am trying to recall a movie with the following synopsis. It is a family (mother/father) with two daughters. One (I believe the younger) is playing outside and gets hit/killed by a car, while chasing her ball into the street. The family's grief is strong and they try to reach out to her in the "spirit world" which triggers the dark side as well. The only other detail that I can recall is that at the end of the movie, her family is in trouble and she returns (in Spirit) to save them from the evil forces. They are able to see her and her them. Please help me! I have been looking for this movie for over 7 years now.

Chosen answer: This could be Hideaway (1995), based on a book by Dean Koontz and starring Jeff Goldblum and Christine Lahti, and Alicia Silverstone as their teenage daughter. Their younger daughter, Samantha, was killed (I think as you describe) and while they try to recover from her loss, they get supernaturally mixed up with a serial killer (the father becomes linked to him because they both have near-death experiences). The killer comes after Regina (Silverstone), and in the climax of the film, when her parents are trying to rescue her, they all have a brief vision of Samantha helping them.

I am looking for a movie where a white women is lost in the desert and then found by an Arab and kept in his house as a sex slave.

Answer: This sounds very much like the 1990 film, The Sheltering Sky, starring Debra Winger.

I am looking for a movie, possibly a Lifetime movie, it is about a boy who beat scoliosis as a child by swimming to the island near his home. One day a girl and her supposed father show up and the father is trying to court the boys mother. The girl and the boy get close and there is a scene where she nearly drowns him. I believe it turns out that the girl hired the man that is claimed to be her father and her real parents were killed in a car accident by the boy's father.

I remember a detective movie from either the late 70's or early 80's in which one of the characters is found in his refrigerator. Throughout the remainder of the movie there are flashbacks to him sitting at a tape recorder discussing what he has discovered concerning the crime being investigated. These scenes are shown while the other characters are listening to the tape.

I am looking for the title of a movie about a man from the future who falls in love with a woman in the present. He knows she will be struck and killed by a taxi at a certain corner at a certain time. He is forbidden by the time travel rules of his future society from saving her but he tries to anyway, and in fact his attempts to injure the taxi driver the night before are the cause of the accident. But in the end he turns out to have a rare mental ability to alter events simply through the intensity of his love.

Answer: Sounds like "Happy Accidents" starring Marissa Tomei and Vincent D'Onofrio.

I'm looking for a movie where two brothers stand on opposite sides of a train, and a lady kidnaps one as the train is driving by. I don't know when it came out or anything.

A Lifetime movie based on a true story. A woman killed her husband who was abusive and on the police force. She changed identity, moved and remarried. They found her but I think her recent husband helps her and she get off. This movie was made around 80's or early 90's.

Answer: Unfortunately, there are so many true stories of this nature, but I believe the one you want is Cries Unheard: The Donna Yaklich Story. Jaclyn Smith plays the victim, who murders her police officer husband.

I am looking for the name of a movie that may have been around the 80's or 90's. I don't remember exactly what happens, I think a boy is constantly being bullied by older kids. However, in one scene a boy is riding down the street on his bike and a guy throws a trash can at him knocking him over. Toward the end of the movie one boy has a gun and the other boy is worried for him, and all of a sudden the two boys start wrestling for the gun, and one kid is accidentally shot and rushed to the hospital.

I was wondering about a movie, in the 80's or 90's and the most I can remember is, in one of the scenes, a girl puts a lampshade on her head and it transforms her into this beauty with an amazing outfit. Possible a version of Cinderella but not sure.

Hi, need help identifying this long lost film. Saw this movie about 35/40 years ago. It's in b/w and was probably made in the 1950's or 60's, or possibly earlier. It's about a group of school children and they're putting on a school play (possibly a religious play like Jesus and the Manger or something like that) and during the course of this one of the little girls in the class becomes very sick and ends up dying near the end of the film, and it affects one of her classmates (a young boy) who was kind of in love with her.

Answer: It's called Bright Road (1953) starring Dorothy Dandridge and Harry Belafonte:

Jessica Parnell

I watched a movie when was a child(80s maybe 90s) and cannot remember what it is. It is black and white and the plot is as follows. A guy, maybe a gangster, gets paid off with a briefcase but it contains a bomb. He is nearly killed but nursed back to health by, I believe, nun nurses. He comes back and gives a briefcase to the guys who tried to kill him. They think he put a bomb in it but he put guns in it and kills them.

I am looking for the title of a movie about a group of about six 20-ish year old friends who become stuck in a Cessna that they are unable to land after a pin (or something like that) becomes dislodged and gets stuck on another part, preventing that from moving so the plane can descend. They end up having to toss as much as they can out of the plane in an attempt to lessen the amount of weight in the plane to conserve fuel. The film starts with a somewhat flashback to when the female pilot was a child and the Cessna she was in (I think) with her parents and it has a mid-air collision with another plane. I believe this film is a Canadian-made film made in about 2009.

Chosen answer: The movie is called "Altitude". It was a direct-to-video film.

Desperately looking for the name of a film I saw a bit of in the early to mid 90s on either HBO or Cinemax. A brunette woman is laying on the bed. A man is standing at the end of the bed, and says, "Paul would kill you if he knew you were here." She says, "Well then, you better be worth it." He throws a pile of money on the bed, and they proceed to have sex. While they do that, the film cuts back and forth to a man on a phone talking to someone. He says, "Senator, I've got the documents, the deal's going down at (so and so time)." Eventually, some other guy comes up from behind him and strangles him. It keeps going back and forth between these scenes, and as the man is closer and closer to death, the sex scene intensifies.

What is the movie where there is a boy who moves to a new town and has to attend a new school. He likes to skateboard and has a half pipe at his house. He either gets or finds a dog and falls in love with him. In the end of the movie, the boy is taken with current in a river and the dog saves him. The dog ends up being taken over the waterfall and they think the dog is gone for good, but the dog shows up waiting for the boy outside his school days later? Time frame for this movie is 1995 to 2005.

Answer: It's the 1994 version of "Lassie" starring Tom Guiry.

I am trying to remember a movie where a poor boy marries a rich girl, gets into her father's business and then becomes unhappy and murders her. He might have tried to hire a hit man and it went badly so he kills her himself. He almost gets away with it but is caught by making some stupid mistake.

Answer: Sounds a lot like Match Point, except for the ending.
