A quote stuck in my head and I cannot remember whether it was from a TV show or a movie! Anyway, there is a couple and one of them (I think the woman) asks the other why he (/she) doesn't love her (/him) and if it's because she (/he) can't hurt him (/her) OR break his (/her) heart, like the "third person."
What disaster film involved earthquakes, a fire, a childbirth and someone shooting a man dead regarding the loss of a son?Kenny Benjamin
There was a comedy film I saw sometime in the 90's. The movie was about a guy who gets a traffic ticket and loses his license. He is ordered by a judge to go to traffic school to get his license back. He meets other people that are also taking traffic class and they end up getting into crazy adventures. The end of the film has all of them graduating but as the lead guy drives down the road a few minutes later, he sees his friends getting traffic tickets.
Just saw "outbreak" on TV, also saw it several years ago. There's a scene where the camera is passing through the various levels of a bio lab increasing in danger to the higher levels. I remember as the camera passed through each door it would list the various viruses (Ebola, anthrax, etc) that were worked on. When I saw the movie recently it did not list the viruses as it passes through each level. Did something change or am I thinking of another movie?
Don't remember if this was a movie or TV show I saw, but I remember the husband is some kind of liberal lawyer scared of the fall of society. He has a hidden gun safe in his home office and his wife finds out about it, and forces him to choose between his family and his guns.Captain Defenestrator
There was a movie about a teenage boy and his girlfriend going on some sort of trip. The boyfriend, while doing something, is bitten on his left arm by a snake. His girlfriend takes him to a hospital for treatment. While asleep in the hospital bed, a nurse notices his left arm is moving in an unnatural way. When she removes the bandages, she is shocked to see that his entire arm has turned into the head and body of a snake, which then kills the nurse. The end of the movie has the boy standing in a field in the rain begging his girlfriend to help him. Suddenly, his mouth opens extremely wide and a snake comes out. The girlfriend is left with no choice but to kill the snake with a shotgun blast to the head. This isn't Anaconda, but I know it was from sometime in the 80's.
I am not sure if this was from a movie or TV show and my memory is a little vague. There was a girl riding on her skateboard and a van pulls up and she gets abducted. Later, the girl is sitting in a chair and there is a man (villain, I'm guessing) and he is putting leads on her temples, like when they measure brain activity, and he licks her cheek to make it stick. It was kind of like he was trying to brainwash her or something. He also has women working for him, no sure if they are robots or something. That is pretty much all I've got and it's driving me crazy!
I am racking my brain to work out what movie I am thinking of. I think it is some kind of rom-com, I remember there is a "friendly" baseball game maybe right after a break up or fight at some point in the movie and also (at around the same time) the female lead is riding a bike through a park with a female friend at another part. I know it's really not much to go on, but it's all I can remember.
There was a movie that I believe had John Shea in it. In the movie, a woman becomes angry at a driver for almost running her down and throws something at the car. The driver responds by actually putting the car in reverse and knocking the woman to the ground. The woman lives but ends up with amnesia. While her husband helps her recover, she not only begins to remember the accident but starts to accuse him of sexually molesting their daughter.
I'm looking for the title of a movie that I've seen in the 80's. A young brainwashed adult woman leave her parents' house to go live in a sect with her boyfriend. At the end of the movie, her father is finally able to take her back home by using force (a kind of kidnapping). Another clue, somewhere during the movie everyone holds each other's hand and sing He's got the whole world in his hands. Thanks for your help.
I am looking for the movie title of a movie with the following beginning scene: Two men are fishing on a small boat on a big lake. It is a calm scene but suddenly you hear the engine of an airplane coming. The noise of the engines gets louder and louder, till you start to see a big aircraft. For some seconds you see the nose of the aircraft and it flies so low that the two man fall out of their small boat. This beginning shot was really impressive for me when I watched it as a kid. It must be a 90s movie. I want to rewatch the movie :-) I looked everywhere on Google but does not seem to find the title. Anyone? Thanks.
Don't know if this was a movie or TV show, but there is one scene that keeps going through my mind. A woman is forced into her best friend's apartment by a masked robber who tells the woman to give him everything valuable or her friend will die. The woman doesn't believe that she's being robbed but that it's just a practical joke that her friend is playing on her. She then takes the gun from the robber and puts it to her head thinking it's either a toy or that it isn't really loaded. The robber and the woman he is holding hostage are both shocked at this and they both try to tell the woman that it isn't a joke, but, the woman pulls the trigger anyway and kills herself.
There was a movie about three teenagers, two guys and one girl, who I believe traveled into the sixties and got caught up in a crazy adventure. The girl made friends with a guy who was only interested in getting her in bed while his kid brother believed that she was an alien and contacted the government about her. One of the guys was trapped in a meeting where the spokesman said that everyone in the room was an asshole. The guy kept trying to leave but was not allowed until he used the spokesman's words about people not being given the freedom to do what they should be allowed to do against him, and manages to leave. The other guy kept trying to repair the time machine so the could finally return to the future.
What film is this quote from? "You answer the questions and he gets the girl"? Or something along those lines? Thanks.Brendan Boney Kearns
I am trying to find a movie (made for TV maybe?) from about 1985 to 1995 where one boy is either a runaway or homeless and living in or near a train station or maybe a subway. He figures out how to make money by selling used newspapers to commuters. I also remember a part where he is helped by a lady working at a snack bar/lunch counter who sells him two ice cream cones for the price of one. He also has an older boy for a friend who I think was developmentally disabled and gets injured running from the police maybe? The main character was an African American boy about 11 years old and the older boy was white and about 13-14. All of this is a vague memory so the details could be mixed up between more than one movie. I remember seeing it on TV more than once. Thank you.Lisa Montcalm
I saw this movie a while back, I think it was on lifetime. It was about a woman who marries a man, but he's abusive and she has an affair with an actor that looked like or could possibly be David Hyde Pierce. She ends up killing her husband, and her lover takes the fall. At the very end of the movie she's all beat up, with a black eye, and her dead husband's friend who she never liked comes to her while she's in some type of cave thing in the woods. She can barely see and starts crying when she realizes her psychic friend predicted she'd end up with a man she thought was her lover, but turns out to be the dead husband's friend. What is it called?
