Other mistake: When Joey and Chandler are in the cab on the bridge, Joey quickly stops the cab so Chandler can get out. However, on the screen behind, the background doesn't 'slow down' as Joey does, it just continues as if the cab is going at the same speed. Then, in the next shot, it is still. When Joey sets off again, the background stays the same and doesn't show that the cab is getting faster.
Continuity mistake: Rachel and Phoebe are in the Central Perk, talking about leaving the group, and a jacket and a handbag are hanging on the arm of the chair behind Rachel, slightly to her left. Between shots it changes from just the jacket, then just the handbag and so on. This continues throughout the scene when Ross comes in and Phoebe leaves. As she gets up you see both again, however Rachel does not move enough to just show one and hide the other.
Factual error: This mistake is from series 6 onwards, with Ross' new apartment: There is an impossibility with Ross' kitchen, but not all of the time. It depends on the layout of the hallway outside his apartment. If the hallway continues along for a bit before going left or right, then the kitchen should stick out. However, when the hallway is a dead end, the kitchen fits ok.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Rachel first arrives at the hospital, she is talking about the hospital not being out of rooms. She points to herself with her right hand saying 'What if I was the president?' Then when the shot changes to include Ross she is pointing to herself with her left hand, then it cuts back to just Rachel and she is using her right hand again.
Continuity mistake: The first time Phoebe and Monica are making bets on when Rachel will give birth, Phoebe has a bottle of water in her hand and is holding it near her stomach. She puts it to her mouth to drink some, but in the next shot, the bottle is near her stomach again.
Continuity mistake: In the one in Barbados, part 2, when Ross and Charlie are hiding behind the plant from the other scientists, the drinks they are holding refill themselves and Charlie's ornament in her drink keeps switching sides of the glass.
