Other mistake: When Ross goes to see Guru Saj, he has his 'thing' removed. However, it is really obvious that Guru is not going anywhere near the thing, because you can see that Ross' shirt is still tucked into his trousers, and the Guru just rubs his hands along the shirt.
Continuity mistake: When Ross and Rachel are talking about his playdate with the stripper, a lady in a black vest talks to the people at the table behind them, then goes to the bar and shakes hands with a lady in a black jacket. She does all this again in another shot.
Continuity mistake: In the one with Rachel's new dress, she's in her underwear on the sofa when Joshua comes in. In wide shots focusing on Joshua she's quite laid back, but in close shots of her she's sitting more upright. Worse than that, her legs are crossed, but uncross in the shot of his parents coming in, only to re-cross in the next shot when she gasps.
Factual error: In season 4 generally, Phoebe has the shortest pregnancy ever. She gets pregnant as the boys win the girls' apartment. In the next episode Ross meets Emily, after 6 weeks he gets engaged to Emily and they then choose to get married 4 weeks later. Phoebe would only be 10-12 weeks pregnant by the time they fly to London, not in her third trimester.
Revealing mistake: When Monica offers Joey lemonade and he takes off his clothes and is behind the lamp, the tops of his boxer shorts are visible when he says "Were you just gonna give me lemonade?" Broadcasts may crop off this bottom part, DVD doesn't. You can also see his gray boxer shorts through the plant in the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: When Jill drops her shopping bags on the coffee shop table, the small blue Tiffany's bag is visible on the end of the 'line'. But it is not visible in any shots after Rachel comes in. Additionally, when Rachel grabs the bags and leaves, Ross seems to pick the little blue bag up off the floor, though it is not shown how the bag got there.
Continuity mistake: The hallway outside Ross' new apartment (series 6 onwards) always changes. Sometimes, the apartment is at the end of a dead-end corridor, and there is a plant outside, covering up the wall; sometimes you can go past the apartment and turn left or right; or, as in this episode, you can only turn right immediately after you have passed the apartment.
Other mistake: Monica and Chandler's wedding is May 2001 (we are given the dates by the characters on the show, so it doesn't matter when the show aired.) And Rachel reveals at the wedding that she is pregnant, so that means she got pregnant in April or so of 2001. "The One With the Rumor" aired and is set to take place at Thanksgiving 2001, during which time Rachel should be 7 months pregnant. But her stomach's flat as a pancake.
Continuity mistake: When Ross is on the couch telling Ben about Chanukah, Ben's hair varies from shot to shot. In the first shot it's flat and in the next shot it's spiked up at the front. His hair stays spiked up for a few shots and then returns to flat.
Continuity mistake: Rachel is telling Ross why she doesn't want to go to the dinner, and she says "the first sign is I don't want to, and...I'm not going'. While she says this, her left hand is completely empty, but then in the next shot the camera goes back to Ross and she is now holding the baby monitor in that hand. It then moves around in different shots afterwards.
Continuity mistake: In the scene after Monica pretends to drop socks in the hallway in order to prevent Rachel from telling Ross she still loves him, Rachel goes back into the apartment and locks Monica out. Monica then starts to pound on the door with her bare left hand. The scene changes to the apartment and Ross opens the door to let Monica in. All of a sudden Monica is pounding the door with her right hand wrapped in a sock. (This continuity problem is for the widescreen version, where we see a closeup of Monica not seen on the DVD, in the hallway with a bare hand right before Ross opens the door. However, on the DVD there are extra shots of Ross and Rachel after seeing Monica's bare hand pounding and then seeing her with the sock on her hand, which gives her ample time to put it on).
