However, when Ross picks up his jacket this chair is now fabric backed, the chair closest to the fridge doesn't have a fabric back yet again, and there are now five chairs around the table. Continuity mistake: When Joanna stops Rachel from leaving work Rachel's holding her handbag and jacket, and there's still one bag hanging on the wall hook, but when Joanna mentions the "drinking binge" there are two bags hanging from the hook, then it's back to just one bag, yet when Joanna calls Sophie there's nothing on the hook and Rachel has both bags.

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe gives the housewarming gifts to Ross and also when Ross opens the door for the neighbor, his apartment number is "3B" and his neighbor's door is "3A," but in episode 14, "The One Where Everybody Finds Out," the door can be seen three times during the episode, and the number is "201" each time.
Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
