The One Where Ross Got High - S6-E9

Audio problem: When Ross and Joey go into the bedroom, you can hear the duck in the background, even though the chick and the duck should be in the other apartment and aren't even in this episode. (00:12:53)

Suggested correction: We are also shown how the Chick and Duck are in both apartments over time. And also, just because they are not shown on screen doesn't mean you can't hear them.

The One With The Cheap Wedding Dress - S7-E17

Other mistake: Megan tells Monica that she booked the Swing Kings the day of Monica and Chandler's wedding and that she can only have them back if Monica gives her the cheap wedding dress that they both want. But in reality, a professional wedding band would never book a night for a client without receiving a deposit first. It just isn't feasible that Megan would put down a deposit for a band she had no intention of actually using (her wedding wasn't even that same day), especially given that she was looking to cut costs, hence shopping for a cheaper designer dress. There's also the fact that by the end of the episode Monica's booked the Swing Kings but is still in possession of the wedding dress - she could tell Megan to get bent and just keep the dress and the band!

Suggested correction: There is also the chance that she (Megan) is just saying that to Monica to try and get her own way. If I recall, nothing is shown or stated to confirm that Megan did actually book it.

The One With The Metaphorical Tunnel - S3-E4

Revealing mistake: While Chandler and Janice are in D'Agostino's, some grocery products have their names partially covered, such as Uncle Ben's and Grape Nuts.

Suggested correction: I've seen a few of these listed as errors, but they're not. A lot of shows do this often if you pay attention. It's called "product displacement", and it is done to avoid being sued or having to pay licensing fees. Also, it is cheaper to alter logos like this than pixelate/blur them out. What is interesting though, is that one of the grape nut boxes in this picture does not have an altered logo.

Yes, it's product displacement, and this is specifically referred to as the "greeking" process. However, your correction only offers an excuse as to why this occurs. The tape or paint partially or fully covering the brand names or logos are a distraction, and it removes viewers from the fake reality of the show or movie. Originally, these types of submissions were to be listed in trivia, but instead they were placed in the mistake section.

Trivia: The artwork on the wall behind the couch in the coffee house changes every 6 episodes

Suggested correction: That's not exactly trivia. Small businesses, particularly cafes and coffee houses, often show different local artists' work on a rotating basis in an effort to support the local arts.

The One With The Girl From Poughkeepsie - S4-E10

Factual error: Ross falls asleep on the train and ends up in Montreal, where the woman he meets tells him "it's only a 2-hour ferry ride to Nova Scotia." Yeah, more like a journey of between 13 hours (12-hour car ride plus 1-hour ferry) and 23 hours (multiple bus legs plus 1-hour ferry.) The character could have been lying to Ross, but it's not presented that way at all.

Suggested correction: It's presented as sarcasm. Not a mistake.

Not clear on where you got that it's presented as sarcasm; nothing in her delivery says so.

The One with the Dozen Lasagnas - S1-E12

Plot hole: At the end, Phoebe and Monica are sitting at the table eating the meat lasagna. Phoebe would not eat this as she is a vegetarian. (00:21:35)

Suggested correction: Early on in the episode, Monica suggested vegetarians can scrape. It is possible that Phoebe is doing exactly that. Also, two episodes later ("The One with the Candy Hearts"), it is revealed that Phoebe, in fact, does enjoy meat, as long as no-one tells her it is meat she is eating. She is poor and has never been able to afford meat.

Continuity mistake: The view from Monica's apartment changes after the first few episodes.

Suggested correction: That is not true. They are both the same views but in the bottom one that you showed, the building is slightly darker. That's it.

The One With Rachel's Other Sister - S9-E8

Revealing mistake: When Chandler grabs his bag he accidentally lets the box full of wedding china fall off the stool. Watch closely (play in slow-motion). The box falls on the floor and shattered china falls out. The china was ALREADY broken before it falls on the ground. (00:23:00)

The One With Phoebe's Birthday Dinner - S9-E5

Continuity mistake: Rachel is telling Ross why she doesn't want to go to the dinner, and she says "the first sign is I don't want to, and...I'm not going'. While she says this, her left hand is completely empty, but then in the next shot the camera goes back to Ross and she is now holding the baby monitor in that hand. It then moves around in different shots afterwards. (00:06:10)

Suggested correction: She comes in with that baby monitor and it never leaves the sight of camera.

The One With Ross's Inappropriate Song - S9-E7

Other mistake: When Chandler finds out that the video marked 'Monica' is just a football game he says, 'This may be the first time I have enjoyed football.' Although in 'TOW The Football' (season 3) he is quite happily watching the Thanksgiving Day game with Ross and Joey.

Suggested correction: Chandler has been shown in later episodes to simply watch the Thanksgiving Day game to avoid having to help out. It's likely that he actually wasn't enjoying the game but was just watching it to avoid helping.

The One With Monica's Thunder - S7-E1

Audio problem: When Joey walks out of the bedroom dressed as a 19 year old, when Chandler says the line "Yes, on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the dumbest a person can look, you are definitely 19", you can see that the audio doesn't match the words. It looks as though Matthew Perry says "not 19" and they had to re-dub over post production with "19." Subtle, but it's there. (00:08:50)

Suggested correction: Just watched it twice and seems to be fine... Can't see any issue.

The One At The Beach - S3-E25

Continuity mistake: When Joey wakes up all covered in sand, his right "breast" has a big crack. But when the camera angle changes, the crack has gone.

Suggested correction: The crack comes and goes as he breathes.

The One Where Ross Can't Flirt - S5-E19

Other mistake: Joey's grandmother doesn't understand English, so she shouldn't look when Joey says 'Is that the Pope?' in English.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: While she may not speak or even fully understand English, it's easy for people to understand some words in a different language. She probably recognized "Pope" and that would be enough to make her look.

Jason Hoffman

The One with the Candy Hearts - S1-E14

Revealing mistake: When Ross comes back from asking out his neighbour at the counter, he has his hand open at one point, pointing down, but then apparently smashes the egg on Chandler. It's clear he never had the egg in his hand as there is no mess on Chandler's vest top either.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: It was in his pocket.

The One With The Apothecary Table - S6-E11

Visible crew/equipment: After Ross and Rachel cover the table with the sheet, when Phoebe walks in Rachel says they can turn out the lights and watch the movie, and in the next shot we can see the end of the set wall, the soundstage and a crewmember's leg.

The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8

Monica: What happened to your teeth?
Ross: I whitened them.
Chandler: Really?
Ross: Yeah, what... What do you think?
Monica: Well, uh, I think I shouldn't look directly at them.
Ross: Come on, seriously.
Monica: Ross, they're really, really, really white!
Chandler: Yeah, what was wrong with your old... Human teeth?
Ross: Well, I did leave the gel on a little longer than it said to.
Monica: How much longer?
Ross: Uh, uh... A day.
Monica: Ross, you know that tonight is your date with Hillary?
Ross: I know! That's why I did it! Come on, are they really that bad?
Chandler: No. No, no, no, you'll be fine. Hilary's blind, right?
Monica: She will be after tonight.

Trivia: Matthew Perry's wit is so legendary that the scriptwriters have often incorporated his gags into the show.

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying "I knew it." When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy and it is a big deal.", is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
