Character mistake: When Mike and Monica are playing ping pong, Mike's service was a fault as he released and hit the ball over the top of the table rather than behind. He then (on the same point) claims to win the point because Monica placed her hand on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Monica asks Chandler and Joey to take Richard to the Knicks, Joey tells Monica, "We will bring him, but only if he takes the Jaguar." Chandler then drops his head in mortification, and the scene then cuts to focus on Monica's expression. In the right corner of this cut, you can see Chandler is looking ahead, and his mouth is moving saying "what am I supposed to say", but there is nothing being said during this scene. The camera then cuts to a different angle where Chandler lifts his head from the earlier drop just before he speaks to Joey.
Continuity mistake: The bathroom in Chandler and Joey's apartment constantly changes in the direction it opens in. Sometimes the doorknob is on the left, sometimes it is on the right. The changes occur throughout the seasons, and in some cases the changes occur in back-to-back episodes.

Continuity mistake: When Rachel and Monica are discussing whether or not Rachel should meet Ross at the airport she's taking a bottle of red wine out of the refrigerator, but when she places it on the table in the next camera shot the bottle of wine is suddenly a bottle of white wine.
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Joey meets Kristen the lights in the store window behind them are switched on. On the DVD at 05:19, you can see that the "CD" light is illuminated in blue. However, at 05:36 where they both shake hands, all the lights are switched off.
Continuity mistake: When Chandler kisses Monica before letting the social worker in, she puts her hand on his arm. The camera cuts to her and she says "Tongue, really?" but her hand is by her side now. The camera cuts back to Chandler and both her hands are now out in front of her.
Other mistake: Mid episode when Monica turns off the cordless phone after being told by Wendy that she can not make it, the phone makes the "out of range" audio tone instead of the "power off" audio tone. Occurs directly as Monica says, "Wendy, we had a deal, yeah, you promised. Wendy, Wendy, Wendy.".
