Suhrmuller was in the art department for "Dredd" as an art runner and model maker.

In some English shows or movies, sometimes there's a scene where an English speaker can't understand a foreigner because of the language they're speaking. Like "I'm sorry, I don't speak/understand German." So what happens when these shows or movies get translated/dubbed into that foreign language? So in my example, if it was dubbed into German, would they dub all the German lines into a different language, like French?

In shows or movies with some sort of "universal translator" (like "Star Trek" or "Doctor Who"), there is often a scene where a character says he or she is hearing whatever foreign/alien language being spoken is in English. Then it's explained it's just being translated into English. So when these scenes are dubbed into foreign languages, do the voice-over actors change the word "English" into whatever language it's being dubbed into?

Continuity mistake: When Mike and Al are on the football field talking, after the truck incident, they're a couple feet away from the "50" and start walking back to the cars, away from the "50" and get to about the 44-yd line. After Roger honks the horn, Mike and Al are now back to around the 50-yd line and next to the "50." And they're closer to the "50" then the first shot.

Continuity mistake: When Jerry opens the magazine to the article about him before handing it to George, the left side is mostly black with a picture and the right side is half black with "now" in big yellow letters. In the next shots of George reading it, the magazine is back to where Jerry had opened it up to the first time.

Other mistake: In the film, each of the cop cars have a unique number associated with their plate number. Dave and Wally steal car "2286." Braddock and the other officer get into car "5210." After everyone was shooting at Dave and Wally, they're seen driving off while Braddock, Eve, and Kirgo are all bunched up together at the intersection. You can see Braddock's car number is now "2286."

And if it's meant to be a symbol of hope against crime for the people of Metropolis, why burn it into the side of the refinery in Smallville after putting out the fire?

And how did viewers know who voiced whom before sites like IMDb were around? Or how did people creating and editing IMDb find the information?

Incidentally, the younger List got her start in an uncredited role in an episode of "As the World Turns" which also featured the older List.

Question: In this episode, Lionel falls to his death. While still on the steps, covered with a tarp, the cop tells Lex that she needs a positive identification, so Lex must look at the dead body to confirm it's Lionel. Lionel was a well known public figure, and they obviously knew who he was well enough to get Lex to identify him. I've seen cops do this in other shows, so is it really a policy or practice to get family members to give a positive identification? Would they ever ask for it at the scene?

He should have been able to see that it was Lois rather than just a skeleton of an unknown person.

Question: How realistic is Lana's physical therapy scene? She says she broke her leg in 4 places and hasn't walked in a month. But then after struggling to walk, she's given her crutches and the therapist leaves, leaving her to walk on her own with crutches. If she struggled with the bars, could she use crutches? Or would she be in a wheelchair?

The article names the teen Scott Higgs though, who isn't the Flash. The article says he ran the 100-m dash in 2.4 seconds, which is about 93 miles per hour. In the article it said the old record was 8.5 seconds. In real life, the record in 2001 was 9.79 seconds, so it seems the Smallville universe has several fast metahumans.

However, in "Relic", we learn Jor-El visited Smallville in 1961, where he met Jonathan's parents and his mom was pregnant with Jonathan. And we know it was him since Hiram (his dad) wanted to name their son Gene and Jessica corrects him and says his name is going to be Jonathan. Plus, if he was born in 1954, he would have been 25 when he won the high school state championship instead of a more realistic 18 if he was born in 1961.

Trivia: Additional references to the show "The Dukes of Hazzard"; Senator Jennings (Tom Wopat) drives a '68 Dodge Charger, similar to the '69 Charger in DoH. Jennings mentions Jonathan outrunning cops when he was younger by driving through Chickasaw County, a fictional county in DoH the Dukes often weren't allowed to enter because of their probation, and were sometimes chased by the sheriff. And Jack Jennings' name is a nod to Waylon Jennings, who wrote the DoH theme song and was the Balladeer.

Other mistake: The bowling scorecard for Chloe and Lana is wrong. It shows Chloe knocking down 1 pin (-|1) in the first frame but getting 3 points, then a spare in the 2nd frame but only getting 1 point. The math is wrong until the 7th frame where is ends up showing the correct score. Lana's score is correct, except on frame 9 it shows she knocked over 6 pins on her first ball and is on her 2nd ball, but when it cuts to her, all 10 pins are up. Plus an unfinished 9th frame shouldn't show a score.

Plot hole: The length of time the vortex stays open varies throughout the show and seems based on when the writers want it to close. In several episodes the vortex is said to stay open for 60 seconds. Sometimes the group go through immediately (to avoid danger) and sometimes wait (to say good-bye). Yet it will still close after the last Slider goes through, even if it's open for less than 15 seconds. And it's not closing because the 4th person went through since sometimes more than 4 people go through.

This Slide Of Paradise - S3-E25

Trivia: In this episode, the group land on an island with hybrids who are half man and half animal, similar to "The Island of Dr. Moreau." This episode also features Michael York who starred in the 1977 film "The Island of Dr. Moreau." In the film, York plays Andrew Braddock who lands on the island after a boat wreck. In the episode, Quinn says they swam ashore after their boat capsized.

Stoker - S3-E24

Trivia: The name of the vampires' band is "Stoker", also the title of the episode. This is a reference to Bram Stoker who wrote "Dracula." Several characters in the show are named after characters in "Dracula", such as Renfield, Harker, and Van Elsinger (a play on Van Helsing). When Quinn mentions the vampire Dracula to Van Elsinger, he says he's never heard of him.

Continuity mistake: When Alt-Quinn tries to hand Quinn the sword, the strap from the handle in hanging down, in from of his hand. In the next shot, the handle is in the opposite direction and behind his hand.

Trivia: This episode was filmed prior to John Rhys-Davies leaving the show. But it ended up being aired after "The Exodus", where Rhys-Davies' character is killed off. So they added the short intro scene with Wade and Rembrandt reflecting on a past slide to the underground world, making this a flashback episode.

Dead Man Sliding - S3-E10

Stupidity: And the end, after sliding to another world, the group is caught on film by someone in her house. Quinn goes (illegally) into the home to get the tape. There is no point to this. Throughout the series, many people have seen them arrive, or leave, and usually when there's a mix up with one of their doubles, they spend so much time trying to convince people they are in fact from another world but can't prove it. Quinn doesn't even bother to see how long they're going to be on that world first.

Continuity mistake: When Quinn has the real Duke's sword, he's pointing it towards the Duke. When the Duke tells his story, Quinn is dropping the sword down to his side. In the next shot it's back up pointing at the Duke.

Trivia: This was John Candy's last film he made. He unfortunately passed away in his sleep before filming wrapped up. Re-writes and stand-ins were used to finish the film. Candy had finished filming "Canadian Bacon", but "Wagons East" was released 13 months before "Canadian Bacon."

Trivia: After the assassination attempt, Wade remarks "of course it was a man, when did you ever hear of a female assassin?" While she was being snarky, as a point of trivia, at the time (1995) of the last 3 presidential assassination attempts, 2 were by women. In 1975, Sara Jane Moore shot at President Gerald Ford while he was in San Fransisco (which incidentally is where the show was set). "Squeaky" Fromme also attempted to assassinate President Ford in 1975, but her gun never fired.

Other mistake: When Rembrandt is playing poker for the first time, the guy across from him says he'll call (and then he raises). So Rembrandt folds (even though he had a full house) because that's what Priscilla told him to do. But Rembrandt was supposed to just ante and fold until Cliff got there. But because the guy called, that means Rembrandt made the first bet. He shouldn't have bet at all though.

Trivia: This was John Candy's last film released after his death. Candy died during filming of "Wagons East" but had already finished filming "Canadian Bacon." "Canadian Bacon" sat on the shelf for two years while Michael Moore struggled to get the film distributed once production wrapped up.

Trivia: One of the universes Strange and America go to, a green light meant stop and red meant go. In the pilot episode of "Sliders", the first world Quinn goes to a green light meant stop and red meant go. "Sliders" was about a group of people traveling between parallel universes.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the previous episode, when Jack comes home to find Tess there, Tess says "I thought you'd never get here" and then asks if he wants a drink and goes to the kitchen. In the beginning of this episode (which is suppose to be the same scene) she says "I thought you'd never get home" and Jack replies "you're not in Australia" and then Tess asks S.A.R.A.H. to make him lunch.

Other mistake: When Zane and Andy get on the elevator, Jo is there to zap Andy. We see Andy start to fall backwards, and then we hear a thud as if he fell to the floor. When the shot changes, he's propped up against the wall. But he was standing too far away from the wall to land against the wall in that position.

Trivia: The 4th band member, Ronnie, is played by Michael DelGuidice. DelGuidice wrote the "Kevin Can Wait" theme song, "No Ordinary Guy" for the show. DelGuidice, who was born in Long Island, also started a Billy Joel cover band before joining Joel's actual band. In the show, Kevin and other characters often talk about their love for Billy Joel.

Trivia: In the final scene, as Jack and Zoe are heading out of Eureka, they pass their younger selves heading into Eureka. This scene is from the pilot episode where Zoe sees another version of her and her dad. However, in the pilot episode, the other (older) Jack and Zoe are in Jack's original car, not his Jeep, and other Zoe waves at them. I would call this a mistake, but I'm listing it as trivia because I know someone would say "after they came back from 1947, things changed so this changed too."
