Trivia

Ultimately proving that Matt Groening wasn't just making things up in the later episodes, if you watch closely, after Fry is leaning on the chair just after the countdown to ten reaches zero and he loses his balance, they cut to a close-up of the chair's legs falling over. Mistake Continuity: When Fry wants to go in the forbidden part of the planet, he jumps over the fence and fell in a trap, which is in grass. When he returns later, it is now a road.

Mistake Plot hole: When Leela asks Alcazar why he held all the weddings on the same day, he replies that hiring a shape-shifting suit is expensive, but he would only need to hire a shape shifting suit if he was holding the weddings on the same day, else he could just have five different suits made.
