Trivia: The song Van Driessen (voiced by Mike Judge) sings "Lesbian Seagull", is a real song from 1979. Incidentally, Mike Judge heard the song during a David Letterman segment, "Dave's Record Collection." David Letterman does the voice of Butthead's dad.

Trivia: The character listed as Motley Crüe Roadie #1 is played by David Letterman, using the pseudonym Earl Hofert. This is the 2nd time Letterman uses that name in a film. Roadie #1 is Butthead's dad while Roadie #2 is Beavis' dad.

Continuity mistake: When Deputy Towfield takes Henry to the bar and the bartender won't give Henry a glass, Towfield sits down and grabs the bottle in his right hand and goes to take the cork out with his left. When it cuts to the close up, the bottle is now in his left hand and his right hand is removing the cork. It switches back and he has the bottle back in his right hand.

Continuity mistake: At the end of Rodeo Daze, the bullfrog bursts the bubble and everything lands on the ground in its "real" state, except there's no Squidward. We are told he's an octopus, so he wouldn't be one of the fishes that we see.

Continuity mistake: When we see Ben, he's shaving his right cheek, removing some of the shaving cream. When he turns around to hug Caleb, most of the shaving cream is back on his cheek.

Continuity mistake: When Helen is on the couch with Simon, objects on the tables move around. Most notably, the books on the end table change position as well as which one is on top when the spies break in.

Continuity mistake: When Salim Abu Aziz slides through the intersection on the motorcycle, as he's being boxed in and before going into the hotel, the stopped cars change between shots. You see him stop near a white car with round, pop-up headlights, then in the next shot it's a different white car with inset square headlights. Then back to the first white car.

Continuity mistake: Before Salim Abu Aziz kicks the bathroom stall doors, we can see there are 6 stalls (and Harry is in the 6th one). Salim kicks the first door, but the close up shot shows it's at least the 2nd door since we can see a door to the left of the post with the lock on it. After that he kicks the 2nd and 3rd door. After he kicks the 4th door, Harry crashes out of his stall, but he's 3 stalls over instead of 2.

Continuity mistake: In the first scene in the Omega Sector debriefing room, after Francis leaves, the people in the background change too quickly between shots. Most noticeable, the man standing next the seated woman at the computer is gone and a woman from nowhere is in his place.

Trivia: When Bulworth walks into the interview wearing the street clothes, the man he says "what's happening, my man" to is George Hamilton himself. Earlier Leroy thought Bulworth was George Hamilton.

Continuity mistake: When Dennis is in the bathroom with Bill, snorting drugs, his hands change position between shots. In one shot, he'll have the spoon in the vial and the next shot it's out. Then when he takes the last snort, the vial switches hands and he doesn't hold the spoon.

Revealing mistake: When Norm McDonald points out the movie line and starts honking and Artie Lange is mooning, you can see the motorcycle cops who were used to block traffic.

Continuity mistake: When Sam and Mitch are in Dr. Farthing's office, items on the desk move around depending on the camera angle. Most noticeably, there is a stapler between the heart and pencil holder in one angle and then the pencil holder is right next to the heart in the other angle.

Continuity mistake: When Selma comes out of the kitchen with 2 plates in her hands, there's no towel on her arm. In the next shot it's there. When she puts Calculus's plate down it's gone again and in the next shot she's wiping her hands with the towel.

Continuity mistake: When the nephews and niece confront Molly, when it's raining and she has just pulled in, we see Patti move next to Frank where she stands behind him a bit (she her head is next to his shoulder). When the camera angle changes, Patti is now away from Frank, but back behind him when the angle changes back. This happens a couple times.

Continuity mistake: When Daniel is bowling the 10th frame to stay at 5th, we see him get a 6-7 split (the machine even sets the 2nd shot with the #6 and #7 pin.) But when the ball is rolling down the lane, it is now a 7-10 split and the black dots are missing.

Continuity mistake: In the frame after Robin tells Daniel he needs to finish at least fifth, we see the #1 pin start to knock over the #2 pin for the strike. In the first shot we can see the bottom of #1 and it's bumping the side of #2 as it is passing it. In the next shot, #1 is lying horizontally and in front of #2, which has also been turned so the stamp is facing the camera.
