Entry I think that this may be an in-joke. If Mary Swanson had chosen Lloyd instead of her fiancee and married him she would become Mary Christmas.
Entry Jim Carey really has a chip in his tooth. For the filming of Dumb and Dumber he had the cap on his tooth removed.
Entry In the bar scene when Lloyd leaves he sees the newspaper clipping on the wall and says "No Way! We Landed on the moon?" and walks out, that wasn't originally in the script, Jim Carrey just improvised that line and it was left in the movie.
Entry Seabass actually makes an appearance in Me Myself And Irene as one of the Maine State Troopers at the end of the movie. In both cases, Seabass is played by ex-Boston Bruin, Cam Neely. He's a good friend of the Farrelly Brothers, and Jim Carrey.
Entry When Lloyd pulls the scam on the truckers, he said that he saw it in a movie - the movie he is referring to is 'Something Wild' where Jeff Daniels (who plays Harry) pulls the same scam.
Entry When Harry and Lloyd eat the hot peppers, the actors were supposed to eat a red candy, but Jim Carrey accidentally ate one of the peppers.
