starring George Clooney (add more)
Genres: Crime, Drama
Plot hole: When Mathilde fires at George Clooney in the final scene, the rifle blows up in her face causing a wound like she's been shot through the right eye. However, as she was using a telescopic sight, the explosion from the gun would have hit her face from below, near the jaw.
Factual error: When Clooney and his 'contact' test out the Mini 14, they fire at brushes, showing that the scope is not centered. Instead of making the windage adjustments, they actually adjust the top of the scope, making elevation adjustments.
Continuity: After Mathilde's gun explodes, the amount of blood on her face increases and the position of her hair changes from one frame to the other.
Continuity: When Mathilde is ordering Jack the rifle at the bar, the position of her newspaper and glasses on the table changes between shots.
Continuity: When Jack is driving to the river, from the front angles his knuckles are covered in blood, from the side angles they are not.
Continuity: When Jack gives Mathilde the rifle at the bar, the number 4 plastic sign on the table keeps moving around between shots.
Factual error: Matilde refers to the rifle as an "M14". The Mini-14 is a completely different rifle as the M14 (used e.g. by the Marine Corps prior to the M16).
