Continuity mistake: When Kindaichi falls from the cart, the boxes around him are placed in a way that it's not just incongruous continuity-wise from shot to shot, but is also nonsensical; in one shot for instance he has a box through each leg, but since Longtao smuggled him out inside them, both legs had to be inside the same box; the cardboard was surrounding him. Continuity mistake: The younger gangster (credited as 'Blueface' for what happens later in the scene) is sitting on his heels and asks a first time "Where is Amelia?" He stands, and in the next shot he's standing, again, and he even has both hands on the floor, which he hadn't in the first shot. (00:18:30)

Continuity mistake: A bad guy hiding in Jackson's apartment points a gun at his head when Jackson, carrying a case of Yoo-hoo, is distracted by his accomplice. In close-up the older guy takes his glasses off, but in the next wider shot he's wearing them. (00:16:25)

Continuity mistake: Joanne's dad hits Tuba up with the baseball bat after he tried to fix his zipper; between shots Sammo Hung's hand is in a different position, as you can tell by the writing on the bat that suddenly in the second shot is in view and not covered by the hand anymore, and even further uncovered in the next. Continuity mistake: Jeong-lee Hwang is fighting Tuba in front of a metal cage. He sends him against several boxes of fruit, and you can see Sammo Hung reeling against a brown box of apples. Out of nowhere, in the next shot a box of oranges appeared on top of it. (01:20:40)

Continuity mistake: Ghost Rambo eats the apple, then puts it quickly back on the plate. The apple is lying on the side in close-up, but when Tuba looks around puzzled, it is sitting on the plate with the stalk up. (00:55:00)

The people around him when he leaps are different from the ones around him when he lands; in particular you can notice behind him in the second shot there's a lady with frizzly hair and a white sweater that already sped way past him in the first one. In the angle with the camera behind Christine, the guy is directly next to her, but there were a couple more people between him and the bride.

Continuity mistake: After the successful capture of the two crazy butchers, Tuba and Cheung are in their boss' office. During the earlier part of the scene, the left hand of the boss goes from above to below the table as the camera angle switches to the reverse, and vice versa. (00:43:15)

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys bring the suitcase, the one wearing gloves does not finish opening his end. However, in close-up his hand while being at the same spot rests on a suitcase already fully unzipped. (00:32:45)

Continuity mistake: In the gag of the photo on the pier, the guy taking the shots at first is wearing his scarf with one end dangling in front of his chest (when he asks the model to be more feminine), but immediately later the scarf runs behind his back. (00:24:55)

Continuity mistake: Tuba is approached on the pier by a bad guy, or at least one guy with a really nasty 'stache. The guy puts his hands on his hips, and they are at a different height depending on the camera angle. (00:23:40)

Continuity mistake: Rambo makes his nosy colleague put a headset on and pumps the music. In the scene, Rambo is holding the Walkman in opposite directions in close-ups and the normal angle, as you can tell by the side the headphones are plugged in. (00:22:30)

Continuity mistake: Police station, Cheung walks into the room where they play the extortion tape. The officer's hat changes position facing a different direction on the table between shots. (00:16:00)
