Continuity mistake: In the club scene when Magnum finds out Rick's little sister is not that innocent, the same extras do back and forth plenty times, sometimes back-back or forth-forth too with no continuity. One of the most obvious offenders is the girl wearing a red dress splotched with blue flowers; she is in every other shot at the beginning and comes from Magnum's left twice in a row. (00:10:35)

Continuity mistake: At the bar, Rick's sister puts make-up on. She leaves the necessaire on the table when she begins to disrobe. She then picks up the clothes, and the make-up tools changed place and multiplied, showing also the brush and an additional powder box. (00:10:30)

Continuity mistake: For the ending, Rick is shown putting on his pants. Few seconds later, when Higgins shouts "Your uniform!" at him, he's putting on the belt with the gun holster, but a few seconds later the belt he's trying to buckle is still the pants', and the gunbelt is still on the table. Continuity mistake: During the initial infiltration attempt, the little guy puts his hand on the railing once the alarm rings. His hand is on the inner part of the top, but when the guards storm the front porch guns in hand, he has it flat on top and moves to inner only a second later. At the very end of the scene he also has a guard pointing an automatic weapon at his head, but he was several steps behind in the wide angle. (00:03:10)

Continuity mistake: Supposedly Magnum and Luther have been tailed just after release from prison (the second time), but they have a complete change of clothes and accessoires. They can't be back from Robin's nest, because Higgins is outraged to see the man again on the premises - and really everything about dialogue and situation implies the opposite.

Continuity mistake: Magnum resolves to shake off the guys who are tailing them; to do so he switches gear; the wrist of whoever is doing that action in close-up wears no jewelry, and Magnum has a metal bracelet. (00:29:00)

Continuity mistake: Luther and Magnum figure out that there's something wrong with the nun's words, so they turn around and star running back. There's a street worker behind them, dressed in yellow and red. She sidesteps out of Luther's way. To the outside. In the reverse shot she is walking unperturbed between them. (00:33:30)

Continuity mistake: Luther is mumbling about the "race car" not being helpful in the car jam. The car at their side changes, and there's an extra line behind it - they were in the middle line in the previous shot. (00:30:20)

Continuity mistake: Magnum is at the guesthouse with Luther. He grabs a Coops beer from the fridge, but does not close the cabinet door. Which is closed when Luther says he's gonna go get Artie. And then open again when Tom Selleck gets up and is in the same shot as Eugene Roche. (00:19:05)

Continuity mistake: Agatha reacts to the "He was shot" bit of info with concern in a close-up. A few seconds later there is a medium shot of her, and her karate gi is a whole lot more open. Definitely not the type of character or scene where it's implied she's showing some cleavage for Magnum. (00:15:50)

Continuity mistake: Luther drives Magnum to the Nest while he shows him the book he wrote. During the trip, the cars behind either man in the rear window vanish at each cut, not appearing behind the other - particularly noticeable when a large truck roars past Luther right before Magnum tells him "Here we are" (00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: Magnum gets dropped by the bullet to the temple; his left arm is stretched outwards, right angle with the body, but when Luther kneels by him to check him out on that side, the arm is not in the way. (00:13:00)
