Continuity mistake: Ian Jenkin dies taking the tablecloth with him. During this sequence, the bistro owner grabs his glass of wine twice in two different shots, in one of which Pauline Duquette is still sitting down; she got up promptly just in the previous shot. (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: Ian Jenkin stands to make an announcement. In the wide shot, the man at headtable has his right hand on the table, but in the next close-up he's putting down a coffee cup. (00:17:10)

The person at the head of the table makes a remark to Raymond saying they should have the same bold choice; during this exchange, Henry reaches for his glass. Next shot, not a split a second has passed, and yet in the foreground you can spot to the very right of the frame that he's already drinking. (00:15:30)

Continuity mistake: Henry accepted the case and is in the kitchen talking to the chef. Throughout the conversation, the movement of the various extras is in compartments; when they get out of frame, they do not appear in the next shot. (00:13:00)

Continuity mistake: Henry does the whole Sherlock Holmes thingy deducing specific aspects of people's lives based on observation. Easy one with Maggie, guessing she's divorced. When he explains how he guessed it, her hand holding the glass from above changes position between shots. (00:07:55)

Continuity mistake: Maggie's clumsiness burnt the tasty dish, but the gourmet detective hands her and her unlikely date a spare portion. During the sequence that follows, her fork switches hand and is lowered or raised without continuity between cuts. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: Henry's assistant mentions Duquette calling; she has her arms lowered seen from behind, but when she replies that he didn't say the reason, she is holding the phone in front of her chest. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: In the initial phase of the conversation over the phone (and the road) with Agent John W. Newton, Eric Tobin's hand shifts slightly on the microphone between shots (the position of his index is different), and in a much more evident flub, when he says twice "Delta One" at the very end he has no left hand at all on the phone receiver in the first shot, and does in the second. Continuity mistake: Inside his study when he talks with Magnum explaining the radiographs to him, Higgins is wearing trousers. Interrupted by the intercom, Higgins then goes outside with the intent to shoo off TC and the "juvenile delinquents", but does so wearing shorts. (00:12:40 - 00:14:20)

Continuity mistake: The position of TC's chopper on the helipad changes depending on the angle - in the wide angle with the camera pointing at the building, the skids are partially off the pad, they are within the boundaries in the other angle - and Magnum, the dog inspector and the dog hop on the chopper from a much larger platform in asphalt. Continuity mistake: The car chase from the gas station to the banana plantation happens with the mobsters driving two cars passing as one. The first car is a Ford Sedan with single headlights and front and back license plate 3F-2890, but the car speeding up in most of the shots driving through the long roads is a similar model with double headlights, different grill and without a front license plate (7F-7594 is the back one, but you may need to freeze-frame for this last detail). Continuity mistake: In the close-up of Sir Algernon Farnsworth barking immediately after the jeep's tank is punctured by the bullet, he's on a car seat with a plaid pattern, but the interior of the car, back seats included, was shown during the gas station scene as beige/sheepskin. (00:23:00)
