Continuity mistake: At the table of the Italian cardinals, Lawrence calmly paraphrases Cardinal Tedesco's claim that the next Pope should be from Italy. Sergio Castellitto drinks from his glass, out of focus in the foreground. He then distances the glass from his lips, fully extending his arm. However, in the reverse shot, his glass is still close by. (00:25:10)

Continuity mistake: When Tremblay tells Lawrence that he delayed him being called to the Papal residence because he wanted to ascertain all the facts first, the folder in his hand suddenly opens between shots. (00:06:50)

Continuity mistake: Kraven casually sniffs a couple and ruins their relationship. He then sits down with his brother; Fred Hechinger's hand keeps changing position between shots, holding a fork or not.

Continuity mistake: During appetizers, John Leguizamo's assistant puts her work phone on the table to let him know she is resigning. Leguizamo is holding his glass when the camera is behind him, and a spoon when he's seen from the front. (00:13:10)

Continuity mistake: Alain Delon tries on some jackets. He finds a briefcase and opens it. You can see the contents of the briefcase before it cuts to a closer view; in this closer view, a stack of letters moves, and an orange case vanishes entirely. (00:27:00)

Continuity mistake: After the accident, the wife, still bedridden, is talking to the doctor. The doctor has a stethoscope across his shoulders; too bad in some shots the disc is on his left shoulder, in others (such as his dramatic walk-away shot) on the opposite. (00:02:15)

Continuity mistake: Dan's business partner reintroduces, for the first time, his secretary. He then has to leave and pats Dan on his way out. This is a rather bad transition between shots because it's rather obvious Jeb's hand is on Dan's arm in the first shot and on his shoulder in the next. (00:22:55)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the villain's car flies off a cliff and explodes, rolling belly up completely. A minute later, the helicopter flies by for the end credits, and the car is now flipped almost 180°, just tilted to the side. (01:31:20)

Continuity mistake: The scene after the one where Ben makes his special sandwich begins with Holly preparing bedazzled wings for her younger daughter. The actress raises her left hand to cover her mouth, but in the next shot it's the right hand instead. (00:16:50)

Continuity mistake: When Maggie's husband talks to the killer for a hit on Maggie II, watch as he switches the TV off; his left sleeve is down, then it's rolled up to his elbow again by the time he sets the remote down. Both sleeves change slightly the way they are rolled during the scene, but that's the most noticeable instance by far. (00:33:00)

Continuity mistake: Police Chief Jordan Sanders is looking for Jay Moore to tell him about his wife's apparent demise. Nosy neighbour Rita Grace invites him over to grab a bite. During this dinner scene, Tina Fey's fork carries food or not depending on the camera angle. (00:25:00)

Continuity mistake: After the scene at the police station where the police chief tells his deputy about the cheesecake incident, Rita says hi to her neighbour Maggie, who is leaving for work. Maggie tells her that she and Jay are not going to be together anymore. Her hand changes position on top of the car door and suddenly is off the door entirely. (00:19:00)

Continuity mistake: When Charles asks Daisy if she can play pool, she grabs the cue stick from him. Cut to him, cut back to her, and her hands are positioned noticeably higher on the stick than before, even if she didn't move. (00:17:50)

Continuity mistake: Helen Bartlett is on the phone with her friend Daisy, who says she can't join her but is conned into leaving her workplace by Carole Lombard faking suicide. During the scene, Una Merkel's desk is arranged differently depending on the camera angle; a closer angle has room for just the telephone, while in the wider angle she also has a notebook in front of her. Continuity mistake: Isabelle Huppert managed to blackmail the two main characters into at least getting some tasty sausages, for a start. She takes a bite of one, dripping with mustard. In the reverse shot, the wiener is whole and dry. (01:17:25)

Continuity mistake: When Anita Delon smells the special perfume her brother-in-law had made for Martha, Susan Strasberg's hair is on/off the side of her neck in the different shots. (00:28:20)

Continuity mistake: In the glimpse of the last trial, the bailiff says, "All rise," as Judge Pincus walks in, and people behind the prosecution bench take the instruction all too zealously as they do it twice - in different ways. Check out the guy with a jacket on his arm next to the woman in red - in separate shots. (01:48:20)
