Continuity mistake: When Owen looks down Bourbon Street the day after he found the snowglobe, there are no cars parked on the opposite side of the road and two women are walking on that sidewalk. He crosses the street and now a car is parked and the passersby are different. (01:32:05)

Continuity mistake: Alva just learned about Legate's true profession and is standing now in his room shouting at him. In the closer shot, her necklace is running on the rightmost part of her right breast, while it is more centered in the wider shots. (00:55:10)

Continuity mistake: Before Owen leaves her to go work, Willie licks the cone in the close-up, and it's messy and dripping. Cut, and not only she is not licking it, but it's also nicely in shape and not dripping down the pastry. (00:36:05)

Continuity mistake: Owen is getting cigarettes and ice cream while Willie outside gets approached by the punks in Lindsay's car. During the sequence, Willie's hair is in front or behind her right shoulder, with no real continuity. (00:34:15)

Continuity mistake: In Papa's room, Alva goes to the window to pull the curtains. Robert Redford is lying on the bed with the right arm across and over his head. There's a close-up in between two shots with him in that position, with an intermediate one when he says "Thank you" with his arm down. (00:26:20)

Continuity mistake: Sidney kisses Alva as she tells him the dream of going to New Orleans. She has her handkerchief in her right hand, suddenly clutching it to her chest with the left. And she is holding it against his arm with the right as the angle changes again. (00:23:20)

Continuity mistake: Alva stands up from the swinging bench after the Hummingbird Express has passed. Sidney, by her, has his left hand firmly on the armrest, but the same arm is across his lap in the next shot as if he tried to reach for her. (00:22:30)

Continuity mistake: Peeved by Owen's trick about the gator and ducks pond, Alva gets outside the kitchen, where instantly she stumbles into Sidney. She is holding her right hand in front of her mouth, which becomes a left hand to her chest with the closer angle. (00:20:55)

Continuity mistake: Willie was setting Owen up in Papa's room but storms outside to halt the drunk guys. She says "Get out of here Linsday Tate" with her hair in front of both shoulders, but in the previous shot she was standing with her hair behind her right shoulder. (00:12:05)

Continuity mistake: Robert Redford has no cigarette before jumping off the train passing by Dodson, suddenly has a lit cigarette in mouth, then not, then one in hand that he tosses away. What he does not toss is his suitcase before getting off the train. But his luggage is there for him anyway right after. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: Robert Redford is behind the train motorman. He is holding on to the top of the cart, but for the first close-up showing his face in the movie, evidently they didn't want his jacket to bundle up as his arms were lifted: he is in a completely different position. But he's again clinging to the top of the cart in the following shot. (00:06:10)

Continuity mistake: Having dinner at the mom of Detective Mike's, look at Mike's hand when she gets up saying "That's all." His hand is suddenly raised, eating, while they were both down and empty in the previous shot. Similarly a moment later Andy gives a nervous look to the gift, fork vertical - but he's eating in the following shot. (00:51:20)

Continuity mistake: After giftwrapping the melon head, Andy and friends stumble upon his mom. When she asks "What is that?" her necklace pendant is stuck into the right part of the blouse. When she asks "Present? For who?" the necklace is placed differently. (00:43:25)

Continuity mistake: Molly was not informed and arrives at the first writer meeting 2 hours late, carrying cupcakes. She puts the 3 boxes on the table. The stack is at one point suddenly perfectly aligned (when Katherine asks her "What do you think?" but the pieces are again not perfectly lined up just after. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: The group of writers is prepping for the job interview with the young brother of one of them. Hayes as he listens to the instructions is keeping his hands in front of the chest in the close-ups, which is not reflected in the side views, when his arms are always down his sides. (00:06:45)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, in the scene when Katherine ends up firing the writer who asked for a raise, check out her assistant: he is reflected in the glass behind Gabe Eichler, and his posture as he gets uneasy when Katherine starts blasting the writer is often different between the front views and the reflection. For instance when she says "You are fired, obviously" Bradley is looking up, arms folded, but touches his face in the reflection. (00:04:40)

Continuity mistake: In the interrogation room with Nick, more than once (for instance when Lucifer says at the beginning "I don't want to know about the case") when Jeremy Davies lifts his open hands and holds them up, they are held up at a different height between one shot and the reverse. Continuity mistake: Chloe is being debriefed by her ex about the crime scene. There's a close-up of the photographer who will be the key of the case, being physically pushed away by a policeman. The scene goes on with him in the background in many shots, all on his own, snapping away as if nothing happened. (00:08:55)

Continuity mistake: The fake preacher runs away leaving all the money behind: in the overhead shot Lucifer says "I'm here till, well, the end of times actually" turning around past a guy (big hair, big sideburns, black and blue shirt) that he already passed in the shot before as he thanked the crowd. (00:03:20)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, the preacher is walking around with the donation mug. The first kid to put a few bucks in does it across two shots and has a very notable yellow hand-held device when he puts the money in that was not there in the first shot. (00:02:00)
