Continuity mistake: Iris splashes Coffin Ed with the glass as he speak into the phone receiver. She barely gets him and in the same shot as he turns towards the camera to grab her, his jacket and shirt have barely any wet spots. Throughout the scene the stains change in number and size for no reason (even assuming some might have dripped from the cheek to the jacket). (00:17:45 - 00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Russell interrupts Hastings' plans of randomly shooting in the middle of the Alexandria harbor, an empty brandy glass is on the table next to him in the first shot, and comes closer the second time he's in frame. (the two shots are not strictly consecutive but there's no reason why the frail old man, still in the same position both times, would pull his empty glass a couple inches closer when off-camera). Continuity mistake: Clapperton demonstrates how he can deal cards of his choosing at will and therefore he refrains from playing bridge. In the close-up of his hand and table you can see the cards he dealt are stacked irregularly, but when he deals the last 4s the cards are more neatly arranged, spread in a fan. (00:17:10)

Continuity mistake: In the sequence when Gravedigger and Coffin toss up in the air one of the guys who walked up to them provoking them, all the dynamic of the toss is just plain odd looking, he continuity of the guy standing up is choppy, and the light appears to be changing radically as well. Continuity mistake: Robert Redford's shirt is heavily bloodstained in the close-ups after he gets beaten up, but has just a couple little blood drips before and after, when Alva helps him get up. (01:09:25)

Continuity mistake: Sitting down with Miss Lyall as she coughs, Valentine invariably has her left hand up when shot by the right side, just the elbow on the armrest, while every time she is shot from the left side she has the whole arm leaning on the chair, hand down. (00:29:00)

Continuity mistake: Poirot at the ruins meets Mrs. Gold, and he starts telling her more about the local findings. You can see in the faraway shot how next to the fence two guys are working by the goat. One of them has a black beret, the other the typical saharienne outfit. Change shot, and as Poirot lets out a "What a beautiful day" remark, the dude in black becomes another man in khaki instead. (00:13:20)

Continuity mistake: At the dinner table, the doctor says "My sole concern is for the welfare of my patients." Pay attention to Lockhart during the two following reverse shots: in both those shots the same two elder patients walk by in the background crossing the screen from left to right carrying their plates. Continuity mistake: Back after the little adventure at the burg, Hannah gets up from bed. By the window she turns and asks the doctor "When?" and clings to the doll bringing her hands closer, but in the subsequent shot (when Volmer says "Come here") her grip has loosened again and her hands are at distance. Continuity mistake: As the train enters the gallery, a close-up shows the box of Nicorette on top of a left corner of the blister pack. When the camera pans (the voice on the phone mentions Delaware), cardboard and blister are side to side, flat. New close-up when he spits the gum, and the two elements are again one on top of the other before he grabs the blister, putting it then back side to side. (00:04:00)

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy reads the solicitor's letter, the date is 5 October 1935. Hastings wrecks his car here but in Murder in the Mews, taking place on the 6th of November, he has it again. Assuming that he has been able to get his car back to form entirely restoring/replacing the ruined sections (Japp tells him that it's now just "an expensive scrap of metal"), in that episode the car needed ordinary maintenance work, while going by the events of this episode it would have been fresh off the car shop instead.

Continuity mistake: As Poirot stands from the late dinner with the young socialites to go talk to Inspector Japp next to the door, he leaves his napkin on the table. The napkin changes between shots, going from mostly straight to crumpled (when Mildred says "How dreadful!") to straight again. (00:22:20)

Continuity mistake: When the milkman places the third bottle on Mr. Gascoigne's steps, they are placed in the sun. When the neighbour approaches, the whole road shows no particular sunlight. Which is fine, as a sudden change of that kind is ordinary. When the other neighbour pops by the corner and inquires, there's a close-up of the bottles, and again there's visible and directional light, pointed differently than the first instance. (00:08:45)

Continuity mistake: During the conversation with Laverton-West at the pool, in the close-ups of Poirot and Japp there are always two gentlemen chatting poolside near the bench where the politician dropped the towel. In wider shots, that's not always the case - plus, one of them walks away without a towel but he's back wearing it. (00:27:50 - 00:28:50)

Continuity mistake: During the battle with Grewishka in the alley, the brute punches a hole in the asphalt and one into the tiles and concrete wall. However, after Alita axe kicks him from above and slides behind him to grab Ido's weapon, there are good views of the alley and no trace of the damage is present.

Continuity mistake: As Alita has disposed of quite a few Hunters, the female called Screwhead and some black dude next to her with a yellow arm are shown in a closeup standing from their seats and prepare to intervene. But if you look back just a few seconds before at the beginning of the fight, Yellow Arm Dude was one of the first Alisha kicked to the curb, and Screwhead was standing already, blade in hand. Continuity mistake: When Grewishka smashes through the floor of Kansas (the bar, that is) you can spot at the right side a couple of tables very close to the crater. When Alita follows him a moment later, the light table frame is even closer despite the hole being stable and nobody moving. (01:05:25)

Continuity mistake: Grewishka makes his grand entrance inside the bar: as a poor schmuck asks "What's happened to him?", a guy in the background is sitting, but in the shot immediately after, he's standing and only after a moment he slowly sits down. (01:01:30)
