Continuity mistake: It was not a suicide attempt after all, and much relieved, CC grabs the bag of groceries to bring it inside the kitchen. He is carrying the bag to his right with the torso tilted, but in the reverse shot here he is, tilted in the opposite direction, the bag weighing against his left side. (01:37:45)

Continuity mistake: During the sequence when CC and Fran are playing gin with her recovering from the sleeping pills, close-ups of Shirley MacLaine have hard light come from her left side, while the wider shots with Lemmon in it have light coming from (her) right side. (01:25:00 - 01:28:10)

Continuity mistake: To revive Fran, Dr. Dreyfuss slaps her repeatedly and breaks capsules for her to smell. One of the capsules is on the armrest of the chair, and it is positioned and tilted differently each time a cut intervened with Jack Lemmon going to the windows and back. (01:09:00)

Continuity mistake: During the second round of drinks, the amount of ice left in the frozen daiquiri changes depending on the camera angle. It's poofy and opaque in the side view, and deflated and almost fully transparent in the tighter close-up on Shirley MacLaine, with an intermediate angle and state. (00:38:10)

Continuity mistake: In the first elevator scene, when Shirley MacLaine calls the floor number (19), between her, Jack Lemmon and the wall there are a man with a fedora reading the New York Times, and a woman with a turban. When the elevator doors open and people come out of the cabin, the woman is nowhere to be seen. (00:17:05)

Continuity mistake: CC opens the door to Mr. Kirkeby who is back for the galoshes; you can see Jack Lemmon casting a pronounced shadow over the light switch by the door in the close-ups, but in the wider shots of the room Kirkeby is searching and then exits, that shadow is not showing, just one on the door itself. Continuity mistake: In the first movie, it was explicitly stated that Reacher was sort of a ghost who was born in an army base somewhere and spent his entire career abroad; he entered United States "for only the second time in his life" (the first being West Point), to disappear living a life off the grid. In this movie, it turns out he had a cozy office (with the same desk as Major Turner's), and was stationed in DC.

Continuity mistake: Salma Hayek gets rid of her broken shoe with a single basketball throw into the garbage bin - including the part of the shoe that was still on the counter. (00:06:35)

Continuity mistake: Salma Hayek comes out of a Rolls; keep an eye at the area between doors, right next to the rope. During the brief cut on Brosnan putting down his helmet, a woman with a greenish-black dress is leaning against the wall as if she's been there the whole time. (00:06:05)

Continuity mistake: In bedroom the Thursday morning they are about to meet her sister, Jessica Alba leans in to kiss Pierce Brosnan. He begins quoting Hamlet, Alba's hair is cascading in front of the left shoulder with very little down her back. Close-up on Brosnan and a thicker mass of her hair is present, less sparse than it was before. (00:05:05)

Continuity mistake: During the initial briefing, the digital clock initially points the time pretty accurately, but then gets stuck on minute 56 for way too long; it's at 12:56:35 when they whip out of the drug lord's folder, 20 seconds of dialogue elapse till the clock is shown again at 12:56:47, another 25 before it gets to 12:56:55, and about 40 seconds before it gets to...12:56:56. And barely 30 seconds pass before Estrada arrives, at exactly 1 o' clock. (00:12:30 - 00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: During the scene of the first meeting between Gus and Ruby, Krysten Ritter's hair moves back and forth (behind or in front of her left shoulder) between shots multiple times (most obvious example: when he offers her a drink). (00:12:45 - 00:14:35)

Continuity mistake: Lucy storms out of Michael's car; the car has the hood (almost) entirely in direct sunlight, but when he opens the door to give chase to her it's mostly covered in foliage shadow. (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: Michael sets foot into the church and meets Pastor John Soul. John has a clipboard in his left hand, as well as his glasses, as he says "But the doors of this church are always open to you." He opens his arms and the glasses are in the left hand. However in the wider shot that follows ("But, if you are looking for redemption...") here's the Pastor with the glasses in his right hand. (00:27:05)

Continuity mistake: The game begins and ends in the same room, with the sleeping princess Zelda. There is a difference though: in the beginning she is on a bed sided by 2 braziers, which are gone in the ending - that's because they are an addition for the NES version. The 'in-game' version of the room was extended with columns all the way, and added those braziers. The ending loads the original Famicom Disk System version of the room, without them.

Continuity mistake: Maudie lights herself a cigarette. There are 2 matchboxes on the railing of the porch. They disappear for the rest of the scene and Maudie's cardigan and dress do not have pockets. (00:02:35)

Continuity mistake: Sara recovers the artifact and gets on the boat. She removes the deep-dive helmet and the oxygen tank. The villain is looking at her through his binoculars, she hasn't moved, but the equipment she took off and dropped on the deck has vanished. (00:03:00)
