She begins at one point shouting, putting an end to the conversation as Rosalie rushes to her. The rambling shout happens across two shots, and Ferguson's hand is in a different spot on the book. Continuity mistake: When Poirot and the other tourists are walking in the section of the temple of Karnak with the ram statues, they cast shadows towards the right of the screen, their left. The action focuses on Salome extolling the priapic virtues of the beasts, and the shadow she and the professor cast is at their back. (00:42:30)

Continuity mistake: When Poirot and race play checkers while Pennington tries to swindle Linnet, a single piece lies at the side of the board in the wide angle, but in the closer views you can count 3. (00:36:05)

David Niven in the background looks at him, closed fist below the nose, but in the next shot he's staring at him stroking his temple and moustache, and at the following cut he changed position again. Continuity mistake: On the Neter Menkaura pyramid, Linnet shouts; "She's following us about, deliberately" in a close-up with all the hair in front of her shoulders, contrasting with the previous angle, where her hair was behind the shoulders. (00:12:55)

Continuity mistake: Confronted by the cops, the director says "I did not call Sarah Darling." In the background, look at the dark-haired extra that joins the other two by some stage equipment. A couple of cuts later she's just walking by them. (00:35:10)

Continuity mistake: When the cops go talk with Roman to ask him about his meeting with Sarah Darling, you can notice that Jennifer's bodyguard grew longer sideburns in the space of minutes since the scene at the house. Noticed by producer Marianne Maddalena on the DVD commentary track, and apparently they had some talks on set about that. (00:35:00)

Continuity mistake: After the scene with Posh Spice's former bodyguard giving 'Dewdrop' a piece of his mind, we see the detectives at work. The hands in close-up hold one of the photos by the bottom, but in the wider angle detective Wallace is holding them by the sides. (00:33:45)

Continuity mistake: Sarah is trying to fix Roman's statue with some tape. She does it holding the statue the exact opposite way in the two camera angles. (00:24:35)

Continuity mistake: After her dad visited her bringing her the essential dose of squashes, Sidney is sleeping on the couch. To get to her, the camera pans across a side table where there's a headset in front of a photo of Sid and her mom. Close-up on the photo, and the headset changed position as you can see from the colorful book it is resting on. (00:20:40 - 00:22:00)

Continuity mistake: When Gale stumbles into Dewey for the first time, the camera is behind her and as he mutters "Gale" you can see her shoulder, which is clear from any hair. Next view, and her shoulder is a big messy wig salad. (00:16:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter gets slimed, the very marketable goo stains his uniform completely messing up the right half of his chest. In the ballroom scene the uniform is practically clean on that side, but got dirtier over the left shoulder.
