Continuity mistake: One of the reporter's that act as audience and supporters for Makoto is quite recognizable because he's in the front line and wearing glasses. His jacket is reddish/maroon at first, but in the rest of the scene becomes purple/blue. It's not a matter of lighting or lack of detail when he is in the background/shadows, just compare it to the guy next to him wearing green to see it's a proper coloring mistake. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: During the introduction of Sakuragi's card puzzle, the cards change position between shots; for instance the two of spades in close-up bridges across two adjoined desks, while it's in a completely different spot in other shots. (00:07:40)

Continuity mistake: When Venom delivers the mail to Eddie while making breakfast, the letters are angled differently in the various shots, in Venom's cute little pseudo-hand first, between Tom Hardy's big paws after. (00:23:40)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" scene, Eddie already poured the orange juice and put it down before Venom messes with the radio and fridge. We see then symbiote's tentacle pass in front of Eddie's hand, which is suspended in mid-air still pouring. Then we cut back to the original angle and Hardy is about to drink from the glass, the orange juice carton well set on the table. (00:23:05)

Continuity mistake: Venom 'saves' a woman that is being mugged; when they hold the evildoer upside down plotting to eat him, the woman witnesses the scene wide-eyed. Her necklace is in a different position between the background feature and the close-up on her. (00:16:40)

Continuity mistake: In the first "Present day" scene, the Ravencroft wardens enter Shriek's cell to feed her. She is lying on one side in the establishing dolly, and she's just lying on her back in the next shot. (00:04:10)

Continuity mistake: When Young Shriek blows Young Detective Mulligan's eardrum (just one for some reason), he grabs his own ear clutching his fingers around it. In the next shot his hand is turned around in a different way. (00:02:45)

Continuity mistake: Miyuki and the other girls happen by several bloodstains which turn out to be a result of Kindaichi's messy eating habits. When Ruiko Sakuragi makes her appearance, the gory ketchup mess in the corner is gone. (00:05:15)

Continuity mistake: Callie finds the 'secret' (even if it's in plain sight, really) basement with Egon's stuff following the instrument she found in Phoebe's room. She has the tool with her, she does not have it with her when she is possessed, but it is back at the house when everyone else is home.

Continuity mistake: Phoebe and her mother are by the door of the farmhouse, waiting for the pursuing demons to appear. The shoulder strap of Callie's dress is lowered in most shots, but goes back up suddenly (and only) in an intermediate shot.

Continuity mistake: The silly bureaucrats cut power to the containment grid, which is about to blow up. Everyone runs away from the building; there are two main camera angles on the exterior, but they are obviously not in continuity - in the closer angle, natural light shines on the street to the right, while in the wider/higher angle that side of the building is in the shade. Continuity mistake: When Gilgamesh hammers the Deviant into the gates of Babylon, dealing the last strike after the dramatic pose, the shadows cast by the statues don't go much further away than their pedestal. In the following long shot the 5 Eternals have a massive area of shade behind them that extends very far away from the city walls. (00:21:30)

Continuity mistake: When Ikaris flubs his line in the ancient language and Sersi and he share a moment, the hair moves on/off Gemma Chan's shoulder abruptly between shots. (00:29:00)

Continuity mistake: When Sersi gives Dane Whitman the ring in the club, her hand goes on/off his shoulder repeatedly. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: The natives approach the ship; one in particular is shown swimming putting her feet right against the bow. One of the crew members pours their drink in the ocean; there's a sailor that walks behind him and makes a sharp left turn. Next shot, and the man is gone, but reappears a second later from the original starting point repeating the walk and turn. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: When Brooke Shields yells "Mommy said that you had to come home right this instant", there's a long lock of hair in front of her left shoulder, which disappears at the cut. (00:06:20)

Continuity mistake: At the gas station, Arletty looks at the attendant discharging his gun in the nearby trees. In the next shots, she is holding her bag randomly with or without the shoulder strap up. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: The young 'au pair' does not have what it takes and resigns after falling into the fountain. As she speaks with the Caldwells, her wet hair is in front of her shoulders in a shot, in the reverse shot it is not, and so on. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: The movie begins with Joe Backett witnessing one of the many victories by swim star Eve Barrett. In the very first wide shot of the pool, Esther Williams is fitting her cap getting ready to compete. Cuts to a closer view, and she has a towel on her shoulders that she has to take off before fastening her cap. (00:01:45)
