Continuity mistake: After jumping off the pickup truck, the bikers come to a stop and lighting screens get reflected on the red biker's helmet. This happens throughout the movie in many of the scenes involving the red biker. (00:06:38)

Revealing mistake: When Jade kills one of Romero's henchmen, the blood pack under his shirt is noticeable.

Revealing mistake: When the villains enter the oval office, the whole White House behind is a cheap set with painted columns, furniture, fixtures and switches (even the bullet holes are painted!). (01:16:29)

Revealing mistake: When Superman flies towards the White House, in the close-up his cape and flag flutter at a normal speed, but in the wide shot they move really fast, quite comically actually, revealing that the scene has been speeded-up.

Other mistake: When Clark and Lois return from the Fortress of Solitude in a green car, the footage is the exact same one used in Superman I when Luthor later crashed that very same car (time code for Superman I 1:34:04 vs 1:18:25 for Superman II).

Continuity mistake: The snake comes out of the toilet, but half a second later we see it peeping out of the right side of the bathroom, hiding behind the door, seemingly to hide the puppeteer mechanism behind.

Revealing mistake: When Romero gets the harpoon stuck on his chest, he grabs the bulk underneath and you can tell that he squeezes the blood squib to pour the fake blood out.

Factual error: Though the Elvis Christmas Special was shot in June 1968, Bobby Kennedy's assassination happened on June 6th and not while the recording had place -as the movie depicts - between June 27 and June 30.
