Continuity mistake: The way crates are placed differs enormously between the moment before and after the dinosaur throws Ben Stiller flying. Watch the crates on the back: First they are spread apart, perpendicular to the animal, but when Stiller lands they're parallel and close together to hide the safety crash mat in between.

Continuity mistake: When the cowboy and the Roman are standing on the crate, from behind you can see that the Roman's cape is long and covers part of the edge of the crate, but from the front is shorter and doesn't even touch the wood.

Deliberate mistake: It is totally unlikely that a museum as careful and important as the Smithsonian would leave the crates un-nailed, which could make the pieces inside get damaged. Of course if the crates weren't open, none of the figures could come up to life.

Continuity mistake: When the Roman Emperor is talking while standing on the crate, the objects behind and the position of the styrofoam differs between the close and wide shots.

Continuity mistake: Ben Stiller takes a rope out of a bag which he throws away. When the dinosaur sends him flying away the bag is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When the cowboy is standing on the edge of the crate scolding Larry, the position of his arms has no continuity whatsoever between the front and back shots.

Audio problem: After the Gluttony murder, both detectives drive to the forensic and have a chat. The audio is slightly out of sync with their lips. Spanish DVD release. Fixed in the Blu-Ray edition.

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the film, when Jules and Vincent open the cafeteria door the set lights are reflected on the glass surface.

Continuity mistake: When Jules enters the apartment, the Big Kahuna Sprite cup changes the direction it's facing in the following shots.

Continuity mistake: When Butch crashes and Marcellus shoots the woman, there's a second woman next to the door, and a white cup next to her. In the wide shot the cup is gone.

Visible crew/equipment: When the boat is sinking, Gavin looks up to the sky and stage lights are reflected on his glasses, despite the sky being dark and the boat lights off.

Continuity mistake: When Butch is choosing his weapon, he leaves a hammer on the counter, with half of the handle hanging loose off of it. When the angle changes, it has changed positions and now all is resting on the counter.

Continuity mistake: Before Jimmy's dog is shot at, a woman walks behind Jimmy's mom, but then disappears in the immediate shot that follows.

Revealing mistake: The doctors who are beating up the patient at the Ronald Reagan hospital are actually hitting the mattress. One of them on the left keeps waiting for the patient to move away to avoid hitting him.

Revealing mistake: When Langdon and Victoria walk towards the Pantheon, the first two angles show them walking alone with some stunt-women behind. But in the third angle, a couple of seconds later, a huge line of people appears, lining perfectly in the back, watching the camera. Obviously a group of real tourists standing behind a security line watching the shooting.

Continuity mistake: When the Camerlengo parachutes onto the Vatican, the amount of blood on his nose changes from nothing to a lot between shots.

Revealing mistake: When the reporters say that the second black smoke is showing, an aerial panning shot of the Vatican is shown, yet the smoke remains fix as if it were a painting.

Continuity mistake: When Langdon and the Swiss guard are out of oxygen and the guard slams a trolley against the glass, the amount of paper on the floor around it keeps changing between shots.

Visible crew/equipment: When Hugh bumps into Julia and spills orange juice over her, she raises her face and you can see a boom mic reflected on her left lens, and crew members on the right one. (00:12:00)
