Continuity mistake: Inside the car, Jack asks Rose "Nervous?" and she turns her seriousness into a big smile. Just a frame later, from the opposite angle, she is still very serious. (01:30:10)

Continuity mistake: When Jack holds the diamond his nails are clean and perfect. When he starts to draw they are ugly cut and dirty, revealing they're somebody else's hands (later known to be director James Cameron's). (01:21:00 - 01:23:30)

Revealing mistake: When Rose is about to commit suicide and Jack approaches, their skin turns pale and slightly blueish due to the green screen effect. This happens in all the wide angles from this scene where a big part of the sea and the horizon are visible. (00:38:30)

Continuity mistake: About to jump off the boat, Rose says "You're crazy" and looks at the sea. A frame later, her head is turned towards Jack. (00:39:10)

Factual error: When Louis the chef starts to sing he mentions typical French things like "Maurice Chevalier", a french actor who became very famous as of the 1920's. Though the movie is timeless, the clothes and lifestyle (pirates, ships, horse carriages) set it long before the 20th and even the 19th century.

Revealing mistake: When the [CGI] Titanic leaves the dock, watch a man in a green jacket close to the bottom part of the screen. He is waving goodbye to 'nowhere', for that part of the boat is empty and its prow is pointing away from where he is staring. This reveals he was looking at a green screen, with no idea whatsoever of what was going on. (00:25:40)

Continuity mistake: Ruth walks to the ship, followed by Rose and Cal. When she is about to enter, the angle cuts and suddenly several women with dogs haven taken her place, followed by a lady who looks nothing like Ruth. Then in the following close-angle the group is meters behind from where they first were, repeating the walk towards the door. (00:22:15)
