Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, the dummy of James Bond is really Roger Moore because it moves. (00:07:35)

Superman (2025)
Revealing mistake: When Krypto is playing with Superman, he says, "Sit! Stay!" and then Superman's left foot suddenly stretches out unnaturally, like an oversized clown shoe. (00:06:57)
Suggested correction: I'm not sure this is a valid correction, but I'm also not sure this is a valid mistake. This appears to simply be a result of the camera lens creating some minor distortion at the edge of the frame, since it only happens when his foot reaches the corner of the screen. While it looks odd, I think it's dubious and debatable whether or not this is a "mistake", and opens a can of worms where any frame distortion, even intentional, could be considered a mistake. Not my decision, though.
Apparently, the effect is either a distortion caused by the curved LED wall they used or the lens. Whatever the cause, Superman's clown-shoe look was never meant to make it on screen. This site is littered with similar issues: lens distortions, colour mismatches, faulty rear projections, and more.

Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Continuity mistake: When the Quiet village song ends, the sign on the last house on the right swaps from having a bright green colour to a light-green pale brown colour between shots.
Suggested correction: I really don't see much of a difference here. The sign is always green, and it doesn't turn brown. Sure, the tone looks a bit lighter in the second screenshot, but the colour is still meant to be the same.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Continuity mistake: While on the boat, Helena does her 7 spades card trick. When she gives Indy a turn, you can see the bottom card is a black 2. When she fans them out, it changes to black king of clubs. Then, in the next shot, it changes to 8 of clubs. (01:16:00 - 01:17:00)
Suggested correction: Not necessarily a mistake. She could be changing those cards by sleight of hand, while moving the 7 of spades into position for the final force. The mistake was not using the 3 of clubs for it.

Ratatouille (2007)
Deliberate mistake: Main headlines in newspapers appear translated for each country for the kids to understand it, but the rest of the news appear in English, despite the movie taking place in Paris. Also, most signs -such as the poisons in the window shop- have labels written in English.
Suggested correction: By that logic, it's a mistake that the characters speak English. It's an American movie set in France, and like you said, it's a kids' movie. Everything is in English for simplicity's sake.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Continuity mistake: When the villains are following Indy through the caves, the old wooden bridge completely breaks and falls apart. However, when they make their escape across the same bridge, it's intact with only a couple of wooden slats broken.
Suggested correction: You can see a goon holding it up when they come back.
The picture you put online to prove it does not prove anything at all. It's a really lousy picture that doesn't serve as any sort of proof because it's too hazy and dark in the picture to see the wooden slats.

Fatal Attraction (1987)
Continuity mistake: Dan throws his umbrella and it bounces on the edge of the wastebasket but lands on the floor. When he walks next to the wastebasket the umbrella is now inside.
Suggested correction: It lands on the ground and stays there.

A Man Called Otto (2022)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Otto is holding the baby, the baby's hat is on and off in between shots. (01:48:48)
This mistake seems to be taken from IMDB and reworded without verifying its veracity. What's funny is, there is a shot of the baby without the hat on when Marisol is holding him. When Otto is showing the crib and she says, "I love it."

48 Hrs. (1982)
Continuity mistake: In the middle of the film, Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy are following Murphy's car that was in storage for several years and became very dirty. However, earlier in the film long before Murphy's car is picked up in the garage, there is a scene of Nick Nolte driving through the streets of San Francisco with Murphy's dirty car in the scene. It is the exact same scene, used twice.
Suggested correction: Although both shots are very similar, they're different scenes with different cars and the dirty Porsche is nowhere to be seen in the first scene.
At 30:02, Eddie Murphy's car can be seen in traffic 2 cars ahead of Nolte and Murphy. It is the same Porsche with the same dust covering the car.

Goodfellas (1990)
Trivia: The entire "How am I funny?" scene was improvised by Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta.
Suggested correction: False. Joe Pesci told the anecdote to Scorsese in the earliest stages of the movie. Scorsese asked him to add it during previous script readings and further rehearsals while notes were being taken by crew members. Then it was finally shot following those rehearsals and notes. In this video all the actors involved tell how Scorsese works and even he himself says he rewrote that scene 4 times. Minute 13:04: https://youtu.be/_bbzUZuxEB8.
I have actually seen interviews where they admitted it was improvised. The reactions from the other actors was genuine.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
Plot hole: Superman manages to find bricks to rebuild the Great Wall of China. While it's true that he could have created the bricks from stones, the humongous explosions of the wall, and the vast grounds surrounding the area, show that there is no place, no material, and no way even for Superman to create 1,000 bricks from nothing.
Suggested correction: This is the same Superman that flew around the earth fast enough to reverse time, for all we know the bricks came from the other side of the planet, and he just zipped over there in an instant to grab them.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
Plot hole: When Nuclear Man sees a picture of Lacy Warfield on the newspaper he decides to go after her. When confronted by Superman he asks "Where is the woman?" Superman responds that he'll never find her. How could Superman know which woman Nuclear Man was talking about? There was no indication that Superman knew that Nuclear Man was looking for Lacy.
Suggested correction: Standard hero response, Villain wants something Hero denies it. This could be replaced with anything. "Where is the crystal" "You'll never find it" Doesn't matter that he knows who or what it is. Villain wants it, tell him he can't have it.
False. This dialogue is part of many deleted scenes involving a plot where Nuclear Man searches for Lacy.

Spider-Man (2002)
Revealing mistake: When Osborn is gassed inside the vault and the doctor comes to aid him, 2 green squares are reflected on his glasses. The green fumes are already gone so it can't be that. Plus from the opposite angle there's no green wall anywhere, so it was the green screen used on the set or a continuity error when fumes were still on the set.
Suggested correction: I think it's the green smoke reflecting on his glasses. The chamber has rectangular windows so that's why the reflections are rectangular.
I don't think it's green screen, they look a bit small for that but there's something there, you are right. There're green little rectangles on his glasses even when he is doing CPR, when he is looking directly at Norman's face but no green stuff around Norman's head. Perhaps green smoke would be harmful or expensive, so they used regular white vapor and shone green lights on the smoke to make it appear green and later forgot to turn those lights off.
There are monitors with green colored animations throughout that scene, in fact we can see a monitor behind the doctor in the shared screenshot. It could be that the monitor is getting reflected on the glass walls of the chamber which then gets reflected on doctor's glasses.

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)
Continuity mistake: When the Judge states his sentence, from Stantz's POV of the front of the table the pink goo in the jar starts bubbling with a tag hanging on its right side. From a wider angle of the front of the table not only is the tag not visible, but the ghost trap next to it is different (check the number of dials and looks of the box), plus the trap is now slightly skewed as to how it was positioned before. (00:31:45)
Suggested correction: I believe the tag is visible at all times, at least the string of it (the tag itself in the wider angle from the defence's table is hidden by the jar itself). Not sure about the mentioned box, you mean the ghost trap? My impression is that the different angle accounts for a perceived different placement, but it's just my perception.

Goldfinger (1964)
Continuity mistake: When Goldfinger shoots and breaks the plane window, chaos runs havoc: curtains flutter wildly and a strong wind hurling inside makes objects fly around. Yet right when Goldfinger is lifted up the air (an obvious chroma effect) the curtains and even Bond's hair stop moving. This happens between one frame and another, it has nothing to do with physics or pressure inside the plane.
Suggested correction: If we remember that the cabins of these types of jets are pressurized, the continuity makes sense. When the window is shot out, explosive decompression occurs with the higher pressure in the cabin causing violent gusts as it flows toward the hole in the window. As Goldfinger is lifted toward the window and blocks it with his body, the flow suddenly stops. By the time Goldfinger is sucked through the window, the pressure has equalized and the cabin, though drafty because of the open window, is near normal again. In reality, the pressure difference would not be enough to suck a corpulent man through a small window, but that's another issue.
The curtains stop fluttering before Goldfinger is sucked-out. They are fluttering yet a shot later they are still.

Ghostbusters (1984)
Continuity mistake: When the Ghostbusters are heading for the building, there's a wide view of New York bathed in a sunset light with a red and blue sky. In further close-up shots, there is a clear sunny light everywhere. (01:15:20)
Suggested correction: Most likely the result of the supernatural clouds forming around the building.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
Visible crew/equipment: After Willie spits in Indy's face it cuts to Short Round running through the mine, and just as Shorty turns his head toward the camera behind him, we can catch a glimpse of something blue which does not belong in this dark dreary environment, at the right side of the screen. There is a tall spotlight and two crew members, one is wearing a solid blue shirt and a cap, and the other a blue/white striped shirt with white pants. (01:21:25)
Suggested correction: This takes place in milliseconds and there's no way to see it unless you pause the image or play it in slo-mo. It should be under trivia.
Right now I have it playing on Netflix, and there is no slow motion. The striped blue shirt is noticeable as it plays without any slo-mo. If something catches my eye onscreen, it is fair game to go back and rewatch what was noticed in the first place. And in order for me to confirm what I find, I do pause, and may take screenshots. By the way, I've seen this movie countless times over the years, and it was just a matter of catching that glimpse of the color blue because it popped out against the dreary surroundings. I'll leave it up to Jon whether to move it to trivia or not.
Correction: Not likely - do you think they shot off the real Roger Moore's fingers? Remember, the whole area is on a huge raised scaffolding, movement around the room could cause the dummy to sway.
BocaDavie ★
The mistake is valid. After Scaramanga performs a ground somersault and shoots the mobster, you can see Roger Moore's right hand moving before the shot suddenly freezes. If the floor were truly unstable, his entire body would be shifting - not just his hand. The rest of the scene is a mix of Roger Moore, dummies, stand-ins, and prop body parts. (And no - the actors are never actually shot at. It's just a movie.)
