I Dream of Jesus - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: When Jesus first sits down and starts talking to Jay Leno, there's a coffee cup on his desk with the handle facing to the right. After Jesus says he's been playing Call of Duty, the cup has moved closer to Jesus with the handle facing to the left even though no one touched it.

A Taxing Problem - S4-E14

Factual error: Peg says she did the taxes and claimed 23 children. First of all, you can't. Max number of dependents is 2-3, and second you have to have birthdates and social security numbers for everyone. You can't just write whatever you want and send it to the IRS. And it's a joint return yet Peg says she didn't sign her name. You have to. So in reality, she would get in trouble too since she actually lied on the tax return.

Splash (1984)

Plot hole: Why would Madison take a bath in steaming hot water? The ocean water is warm or cold depending on the area of the ocean. So, it makes no sense as to why she does this.

Suggested correction: Not sure I would call this a plot hole. It's more of a question. While she is used to the warm or cold water of the ocean, she may prefer to have the hot water once she realises that it's an option for her.

Psycho II (1983)

Character mistake: There's a note from "mother" on the wheel at the diner. Right beside it is an order with the wrong total. 2 hamburgers for $1.95 each. 2 fries for 90 cents and 2 drinks for 90 cents for a total of $5.70. The waitress put $3.70 for the total.

Other mistake: In the beginning, when Angela is chasing Maria, she is running and screaming. Yet, all the people around, seeing and hearing this, do nothing.

Murder by Numbers (2002)

Factual error: Vomit is a very poor source of DNA. Yet Cassie narrowed it down to Justin. The restaurant he ate at and what he ate.

Suggested correction: Overly convenient to the plot, but well within the capabilities of forensic science. Certainly, what he ate was obvious, and that, along with time and distance constraints, could narrow it down to a single restaurant. Vomit is a poor source of DNA, but it has yielded definitive results in real-life cases. More a case of good luck than factual error.
