Continuity mistake: During the boat chase, Frank cries "Elise, Elise!", a thug shoots at her boat and the front glass breaks, turning the single hole to a double one: with a butterfly shape. A frame later it's back to a single hole.

Revealing mistake: After Louis runs out of the building crying "There's a bear in my apartment!", the monster exits the place and knocks down the doorman, but doesn't cast a shadow until it steps on the pavement. (00:54:55)

Other mistake: After the guys decide to rent the building, the shot of New York from the park is the very same one, though with different sky colour, to that of the moment when they are about to battle Gozer. Factual error: When the train arrives to Venice, a voice announces destination in English and Italian. Since the train departed from France it should have also been announced in French.
