Continuity mistake: In Las Vegas Adam slides the car and sparks come out. His brother is either holding the wheel or waving his arms, depending on the shot.

Continuity mistake: When Wayne is on top of the giant bunny holding the bullhorn he is in front of the bunny's hair in the close-ups, but hidden behind it in the angles where the baby holds the toy (though the bullhorn is still visible), obviously to hide the miniature-Wayne trick.

Revealing mistake: After the giant baby grabs the giant bunny he then grabs his dad's head and the baby is replaced by an obvious inflatable doll.

Continuity mistake: The chocolate stain on the baby's face when home behind the net changes from dark to light between shots.

Continuity mistake: Before Allen jumps to chase the mermaid, the helicopter is above him and he looks up. His hair doesn't move despite the rotors above. Then in the following shots it finally does move.

Continuity mistake: When the army exits the lab to find the mermaid the pavement is wet and the sky is cloudy. The following aerial shot shows the pavement dry and the light sunny. The light keeps changing with no continuity throughout the scene: cloudy, sunny, dawn, dusk.

Continuity mistake: When Nick's mom tells him to show Gypsy around she takes the cigarette away from her lips. A shot later it's back in.

Other mistake: When Kenny Rogers sings and Richard's mom claps, everybody is looking at the left except for a man with a hat who can't help staring at the camera all the time.

Revealing mistake: When the cockroaches dance on the cake they cast no shadow and seem as if they're floating.

Continuity mistake: Wen Bustopher is inside the trash he reaches for the top of the bottle twice.

Factual error: The billboards behind the kissing sailor and nurse photograph don't match the ones from the real photo.

Audio problem: In Las Vegas, before the yellow car scene Nick says "we have to jump", but his mouth isn't moving.

Continuity mistake: Adam picks up the yellow car sideways but the shot inside shows Nick and Mandy upside down.

Continuity mistake: When Eric is about to wake up from his coma his jacket swaps from very open to slightly open between shots.

Revealing mistake: After the vacuum cleaner scene, Eric tilts the Coke can completely to give some to Mac but no liquid falls out, revealing it's empty.

Continuity mistake: When Eric wakes up and follows the remote controlled car his hair is messy but in a close-up it's perfectly brushed.

Visible crew/equipment: During the first credits, when the name Kevin Bacon appears on-screen there's a close-up shot of a bayonet. A white screen used for lighting and filming is perfectly visible reflected on the metal.

Question: Much is said about the infamous first released version with Judy Dench's real hand instead of a CGI paw, but I'm watching that same version now and ALL of the cats have real human hands. How is this not also a mistake? Or is it that the mistake is Dench's ring on her finger? Do the actors' human hands change to paws in the CGI-fixed second version?

Continuity mistake: After Victoria and Mr. Mistoffelees close the door and escape from the dog, he holds his hat with his left hand. A shot later his hand is on his thigh, the hat on the floor.
