Continuity mistake: When Diane and Carol are in the tub, the amount of red slime on Diane's forehead, and foam on Steven's hand increases or decreases between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the scientist's face starts to melt, the stuff on the wall keeps changing all the time.

Continuity mistake: When Steve's high on pot and tells Diane he loves her, he has his hand raised. A frame later it's down by the blanket.

Continuity mistake: Superman's X-ray vision cooks the raw turkey and then the shot cuts to Superman's face, when it returns to the turkey is perfectly cook and now has a skinny leg on the right side.

Continuity mistake: Robbie watches the tree and gets in bed. Next to him there's a yellow comic book underneath a Darth Vader bust. When his mother arrives the comic book is completely different.

Continuity mistake: When Superman lifts Lenny and Lex's car up in the air, Lenny's hand is inside the vehicle, but a frame later it's outside and further back.

Continuity mistake: Returning from the pool, Diane enters the kids' bedroom and starts to fly, covering the door with mud. A second later the door is clean, only to dirty itself in the following shots.

Revealing mistake: During the subway sequence, all of the train stations are always the same Metropolis South.

Continuity mistake: Nuclear Man breaks through the Daily Planet ceilings but his hair doesn't ruffle, instead it looks much better than when he entered the building. Superman's hair does ruffle and get messy and dirty.

Continuity mistake: When the big throat is menacing the kids, Carol Anne's position swaps from being left or right to Robbie randomly between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the ghostbusters team goes upstairs with Steve for the first time, Ryan takes his bag off twice.

Continuity mistake: When Robbie wakes up to cover the clown, his grip on the jacket and the position of his head (crouched neck against breast vs raised neck) changes between one frame and the other.

Continuity mistake: The Russian cosmonaut who says, "Sing at home, Sinatra.", is floating relaxed inside the spaceship, a frame later he is crouched fixing some bolts.

Continuity mistake: The first night the ghosts come out of the TV, before Carol Ann wakes up, there's a pillow on the background laying on the floor by a basket. When she walks towards the TV the pillow is standing upright by the basket.

Continuity mistake: When Robbie leaves in a taxi, in the close-up Steve is massaging Diane, in the wide angle he is just standing behind. This keeps swapping back and forth.

Continuity mistake: When Carol Ann is about to be abducted, sometimes she is suspended horizontally over the bed, others diagonally.

Continuity mistake: Lindsay falls down on the playing field and covers her dark jacket with sand. When she stands up, the jacket is without any sand at all.

Continuity mistake: When Lenny and Lex do the genetic experiment, the stuff on the table comes much closer together between the first and second shot.

Continuity mistake: In the barn Carl looks ahead to see through the walls to check who's coming. His POV shows a cart wheel, but when the angle changes it's been replaced by 4 stables. The wheel is on the far right hand side.
