Other mistake: Montana, like other states, has an "open container" law which prohibits public drinking or carrying an open container of alcohol on public streets/sidewalks, but Chris and Sky left the bar carrying and drinking bottles of beer, casually strolling down the sidewalk. Sky, who works in the bar, surely knows that customers may not leave the premises carrying open bottles of beer and an on-duty employee should have stopped them. Wealthy Chris might not have cared about the misdemeanor offense/fine.

Continuity mistake: The position/angle of the telescope that Ronald uses to watch the nude lady and spot Sky in Chris' house doesn't match how the telescope was supposedly redirected. Continuity mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie (largely over the course of one day) Abby's hair was inconsistent within and between scenes. It ranged from neatly combed straight back with no obvious part and a low or higher bun to relatively neatly combed back but angled to the right with a slight or obvious part to messy and frizzy, sometimes with strands dangling in the right front or behind her left ear. With all the "action" going on, she did not have the time or opportunity to comb or fix her hair.

Factual error: The scene where the Jeep gets stopped with its front tires on a lava flow wider than the hood and a lava flow under the cargo area is unrealistic. The lava or rising heat would be enough to damage belts/hoses. Zhang Nan would not be able to stand on the Jeep's hood that long (without injuries/burns) due to the intense heat. Crouching near lava is not as hot, so a person could withstand the heat for a few seconds under certain conditions, but not minutes like Zhang did standing on the hood. (01:09:53 - 01:10:25)

The day Jack the Snowman was starting to melt was going to be around 70° F, but December temperatures reportedly rarely exceed 67° F. Dec 1-2, 2021 reached 73° and 72° F (some record-breaking).

When Charlie gets into the back seat, Natalie is behind the driver and the two boys apparently have moved to the third row seats. When Jen gets on board, Aileen's hair is in front, covering up the green strap. The camera shifts when Lewis is hugging Jen and Aileen's green strap is visible again with the left side of her hair behind her. There is no noticeable wind and Eileen is standing in the same place. There are twelve U.S. cities named Medford, but there is no Medford in Colorado where the film is set, just a Medford Springs, which is literally a spring (not city). Medford, Oregon is probably the most well-known. Other states with a Medford: Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
