Factual error: "SOS" is written in the sand on the beach, close to the shoreline. A helicopter lands nearby and four people walk on the sand, leaving shoe imprints over a wide area. The helicopter departs, and the "SOS" is written as it is before the rescue, completely unscathed. The helicopter's rotating blades would disturb/scatter sand and cover most, if not all, of the "SOS." (00:06:14 - 00:06:35)

The Folks (2022)

Factual error: Doctor Key tells Mary, "If you pose a threat to those around you, we will be forced to keep you here [hospital] longer. That means your son will be placed in foster care." Family members, such as the grandmother and uncle currently taking care of Tony, are preferred before placement in foster care. Foster care is usually considered among the last resorts, not first, and only when there are no suitable family members or significant others to provide temporary care for a minor. [SPOILER: It isn't known that the grandmother and uncle aren't biological relatives.] (00:29:15)

Candy Cane Lane (2023)

Factual error: Chris and Carol are in the back of the house, and the rising sun faces them. Chris walks around the side to the front of the house, where the sun is rising to his left (at about a 90° shift from the backyard sunrise). The sun rises in the east and does not rise in the south. Girl Gone Bad (2022)

Factual error: Considering everything that happens after Lester comes down the stairs at Samantha's house around 10:05 PM, it is impossible for it to only be 10:15 when she sits down to eat pizza. Their scuffle and Samantha somehow getting Lester zip-tied in a chair alone would take much longer than 10 minutes. (00:15:42 - 00:38:28)

That's a Wrap (2023)

Factual error: Stoney sets his lit marijuana cigarette on the metal garbage can lid and walks away. The cigarette is still lit and does not burn down after 3+ minutes of screen time. A lit marijuana cigarette left unattended burns a short time and forms ashes before extinguishing itself. (00:55:35 - 00:58:50)

Factual error: April arrives for her first day of work at "Shady Oaks Senior Living" and sees Max, the resident who passed away the night before, being wheeled out on a stretcher with his head uncovered. A deceased person's entire body would be covered by the sheet. (00:03:14)

Totally Killer (2023)

Factual error: It is Halloween night, 2023, but there is summer tree foliage (and even flowering shrubs some time later). There should be peak fall foliage in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada by mid-to-late October. (00:05:40 - 00:14:53)

Factual error: Lenny, using a manual typewriter in 1889, would not be able to type that fast or the striking keys be able to produce a sound similar to that of an electronic typewriter (not available until decades later). A manual typewriter's single key had to have time to retract (at least partially) before the next key could strike to prevent the keys from overlapping and getting stuck together. Equally paced, rapid striking sounds were not possible for an extended period of time. (00:47:07)

Factual error: Amy never pays or is asked to pay for her drive-thru order at "Taco Tree". She places her order at the intercom, drives up to the window, and is handed her order with no exchange of money. She is given a receipt in her bag of food. (00:44:40 - 00:45:45)

Puppy Love (2023)

Factual error: Max sees a dog he wants to adopt at the "Seattle Animal Shelter" and the shelter worker tells him, "Just bring her back in a week to get spayed." All dogs/cats in Seattle shelters (as well as virtually all across the U.S.) must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. [This also falls under "plot hole" and "character" mistakes.] (00:07:45 - 00:08:40)

Factual error: Mom tells Bee, "We have enough for shelling." The Stranger has a basket of snow peas, which he and Bee give the impression of shelling. But snow peas are eaten whole because they are harvested when the peas in the pods are still tiny and immature. (00:35:08)

Breakout (2023)

Factual error: The warden, sergeant, and a couple of other members of the parole board are seated at a long table, so their upper bodies are in the open. When 10 shots are fired at them at close range, there is no blood splatter and little visible blood. (00:20:47)

Factual error: The car's cigarette lighter pops out (ready to use), and Bo exits the vehicle carrying the still-lit lighter, glowing like a flashlight. Nearly a minute and a half later, the cigarette lighter is still fully glowing - but car cigarette lighters only stay lit for a much shorter period of time. (01:20:00 - 01:21:23)

Fear (2023)

Factual error: The way Michael poured wine out of the newly opened bottle (standard 750 ml/25 oz?), the estimated amount he poured into six glasses plus drank some from the bottle, and the angles at which the six friends tilted their glasses for the toast, were not realistic. Also, the wine bottle appeared to have more than one-half (possibly two-thirds) of its contents left when Michael poured it into the fireplace. A newly opened bottle of wine would not be held at a downward angle to start pouring. (00:26:18 - 00:27:34)

Bullet Train (2022)

Factual error: A front view of the "Boonslang" snake with its mouth open shows fangs in front, but a Boonslang snake has back - or rear-fangs, meaning they are located further back in the mouth (near the jaw). The fangs should be below the snake's eyes, not near its nose. (01:11:15)

The Good House (2021)

Factual error: Tree foliage was unseasonal and inconsistent throughout the movie. For example, Autumn foliage (orange/yellow leaves) was shown, followed by a shot of a tree with Summer foliage (green leaves), then back to Fall leaves when Hildy was on her way to Thanksgiving dinner. At times, trees still had Summer foliage around Christmas time. By November in Massachusetts, trees would have few, if any, leaves on them (and they would not be green). (00:42:50 - 01:05:20)

Mindcage (2022)

Factual error: The Artist lit a match and candle in his cell. Both are contraband in prison (especially for someone scheduled to be executed). Matches pose a risk of fire/arson and deliberate burning injury or death to a person. Candle wax can be used to prevent cell and other prison doors from locking, creating an escape risk. Also, The Artist's prison cell appeared to be much bigger than a master bedroom (standard size 14'x16'). Prison cells are around 6'x8' or 7'x12'. (01:17:45)
