Max's feet are in the air (perpendicular to the bed) right before his dad comes in but are crossed and flat against the pillow when he enters. When Max's dad rises from sitting on the bed, Max's feet are in the air again but are down on the pillow again when his dad is at the door leaving.

Other mistake: In a deleted scene, Hannah wants to spend time with Lily because Lily is leaving, although her destination is not revealed. Lily's brother Soren and her mother apparently aren't going anywhere, so it didn't make sense that Lily would be leaving two weeks into the public school year. Additionally, Hannah and Lily have been best friends and in the same class since eighth grade. Therefore, instead of saying, "Tomorrow I'm skipping school", "Hannah should have said, "Tomorrow WE are skipping school..." It seems like the writers decided to abandon the idea that Lily was going somewhere but the rest of her family wasn't and she was somehow not under the same school schedule as Hannah. However, they forgot to add Lily to the skipping school idea that Hannah was going to do so that they could spend more time together. (It wouldn't make sense for Hannah - but not Lily - to skip school). (00:17:56)

Revealing mistake: A stunt double was used for Lucas flying off his bike and into the side of a delivery truck. The legs are obviously thinner; Lucas isn't that "thin." Even though movie goers could assume that a stunt double would be used in this situation, the director / producers apparently did not even try to make the stunt double pass as Lucas - and all they needed to do was make the stunt double wear bigger pants (Lucas' size) and add padding. Plot hole: Even though the Brady Bunch kids won $20,000 (check, not cash) in the "Search for the Stars" contest, they would not have immediate access to it, so would not be able to merely take the oversized representative check - which would be nonlegal tender - to pay for the taxes; they would have to wait until they received an authentic hard copy (real check) and wait until the check "cleared" the bank (was legitimate and payable). Clearing the check could take weeks because the Brady's didn't have at least $20,000 in their checking account to cover what could be a bogus check. (01:19:03)

Front shots show Mason's index finger held almost straight up along/against the side of his cell phone. Continuity mistake: As the years pass, Mason dons a different haircut/style, but there is a period of time during which a particular haircut inadvertently varies in length, being shorter, longer, shorter, etc. within the same scene or day (as opposed to showing his hair gradually or naturally growing over several weeks). From the time he was picked up by his father until he is back home and step-dad Bill makes him get an almost-bald haircut, Mason's hair vacillates in length from above to below his shoulders and shorter or longer bangs.

Revealing mistake: The use of a green screen (or other color) during most of the cafeteria scene is obvious if you watch the people in the background instead of the main characters and is flawed in a few ways (e.g, varying angles, greater distance, continuity of a person, etc). For example there is a man wearing a blue shirt/tan pants and carrying a briefcase walking down the aisle toward the Good Boys' table. When the man is walking along the wall that is behind the Good Boys, he is further ahead than he is when he is picked up again. Also, this man shows up in front of Max when Max is walking to Soren's table. The man also appears walking along the back wall with a woman. Watching the wall behind Thor and Lucas, it is sometimes at an angle and other times looks more distant. Some of the people would essentially be walking "out of the wall" in order to appear where they do (e.g, the boy with a backpack).

Stupidity: The Good Boys were going to ride their bikes four miles to the mall but did not even think to bring bike locks with them. Also, even if there were no locks on the bikes when parked in front of the store, this does not necessarily mean that the bikes would not still be there later for the Good Boys to pick up. Thor just assumed that the bikes were lost/stolen forever because he said his family would not be able to have "Cycle Sundays."

Other mistake: The mirror on the bike that Lucas is riding when fleeing from the girls is near the center of the handlebars and pointed toward his chest at a slightly upward slant. Given how far away Lily is (and at ground level), the mirror can't be capturing her image like it is shown (or at all, for that matter). (00:36:28)

Continuity mistake: When the Good Boys get to Thor's house after leaving school, there are three bikes lying on the ground near the front steps (to the left), but the bikes are not there when Claude leaves with the "CPR doll." (00:31:24 - 00:35:00)

Other mistake: The story starts about two weeks into the school year, making it late August or early September. Max's dad got home early, some time before 5:00 PM, and Lucas was at Max's bedroom window a little after the two hours he had been home from the mall, so it was now some time before 7:00 PM - too early in the evening for it to be after dark walking to Soren's house for the "kissing party." Timewise, the foliage also doesn't always sync. Sometimes, all the trees are lush green, other times the trees have partly or already turned orange, and when Max removes the drone from the box after the girls drop the Good Boys off 1.7 miles from home, there are fallen orange leaves on the brick pavement.
