Death in Texas (2020)

Continuity mistake: A car and a truck are parked in the driveway when Billy approaches and hugs his mother, but the vehicles are not there when the camera shifts to a close-up of them hugging. (00:05:34)

Death in Texas (2020)

Factual error: Medical doctors in the U.S. do not simultaneously use "Dr" as a prefix and "M.D." as a suffix, but the business card Grace had on her refrigerator for her hepatologist had "Dr. Perkins, MD" on it. The business card should have included his first and last name followed by "MD" (or "M.D."). Dr. Jane Doe, for example, would be used by a person with a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy). The business card also lacked a phone number and office address. (00:06:19)

Finding You (2021)

Continuity mistake: When Sean is at the airport to pick up Finley, his left hand is wrapped due to a burn while cooking at the B&B. When Sean arrives home and gets out of his car, his hand is no longer wrapped. (00:08:23 - 00:09:27)

Trivia: Although FBI Agent Robert Ressler claims he coined the term "serial killer" (1972), he and John Douglas (together) are often credited. However, Ernst Gennat, Director of Berlin Criminal Police, used the term "serial killer" as early as 1930 in Germany.

Finding You (2021)

Continuity mistake: Based on the position of the stem on the shamrock sticker Finley has on her violin case, the "sticker" gets rotated a couple times. The sticker also changes shape. (01:44:43 - 01:45:40)

Finding You (2021)

Continuity mistake: Finley carried her violin and one square suitcase out of her room to go to her audition. Sean parked at Dublin Airport and removed Finley's luggage from his trunk - two rectangular suitcases, neither matching the one Finley had. (01:44:25 - 01:45:21)

Trivia: There were actually two female special agents (including a former nun!) in the 1920s. After they resigned in 1928, then-Director of the FBI J. Edgar Hoover did not permit female special agents. Hoover's restriction was reversed after his death in May 1972 and three female special agents began training soon thereafter.

Factual error: During their dinner conversation on March 1, 1975, McChesney told Ressler that an FBI recruiter came to her senior criminal justice seminar and told her, "Sorry, FBI doesn't hire female agents." Ressler responded "times are changing" and he wouldn't be surprised if one day she was at Quantico. But women were allowed to become FBI agents after Director J. Edgar Hoover's death in May 1972. (00:26:08)

Factual error: After Ressler tells McChesney he wouldn't be surprised if one day she's tracking down sequence killers, McChesney replies, "Not sequence killers. Serial killers. That's what they should be called." But it was Ressler who claimed he coined and is often credited with coining the term "serial killers" (at least in the U.S). ** After showing pictures of some of Bundy's victims, Ressler is shown and it is pointed out, "He [Ressler] is credited with coining the term 'serial killer'." Rogue Hostage (2021)

Factual error: The New Jersey license plate (L928 : 68FT) did not have the proper format (too many numbers/letters and wrong color). NJ standard plates have a letter followed by two numbers, an emblem, then three letters. NJ plates are yellow/gold reflective at the top, fading to white at the bottom; the Jeep's plate was all white (although the plate holder was buff colored at the top and covered up "New Jersey"). Rogue Hostage (2021)

Trivia: The reflective yellow/gold at the top of New Jersey plates enables police to quickly identify the vehicle as in-state. Yellow/gold is used because NJ's state bird is the American Goldfinch.

Growing Up Brady (2000)

Other mistake: Either there was or wasn't a 5-year contract from the onset. At first, Sherwood told Bob, "It's just a pilot episode. If we get picked up for a series." Narrator Barry Williams said his agent called to tell him "the network picked up the Brady Bunch for a full season." Season One ended but Sherwood didn't call "until the last minute" to tell the cast they "would be coming back to a second season." Later, Sherwood told Bob that he knew when he did the pilot that he signed a 5-year contract. (00:05:50 - 00:21:40)

Suggested correction: Those two things are not mutually exclusive and that's not how it works in the television industry. Actors usually have to sign a test option agreement with the studio prior to the pilot being picked up (sometimes even before auditioning). This ensures the studio that the actor is committed to the project long term should the pilot be picked up, but signing the contract agreement doesn't guarantee the pilot will be picked up. A 5-year test option agreement seems pretty standard.

Bishop73

I'm aware of such contracts - and surely Florence Henderson would have also been required to sign a five-year agreement, but there (conveniently) was no mention of this.

Jurassic Hunt (2021)

Stupidity: A dinosaur spits a hot substance onto Tramp's right shoulder and Tramp says, "It burns." He is told to not touch it, but Tramp wipes it off with his left hand and holds his hand up to another hunter's face telling him, "Help me. Get it off!" (00:18:43)

Revealing mistake: Based on the size of the dinosaur's back shown behind the 6' high cement enclosure, there is not enough room for the rest of the dinosaur's tail and the enclosure is not high enough to accommodate its neck and head. (00:16:29)

Separation (2021)

Factual error: The settlement reached with the negotiator would still have to be approved by a family court judge. Parents' relationships with their child(ren) are taken very seriously by the family courts. A judge would seriously question why a present ("in the picture") biological father's parental rights were being terminated. The agreement (with no visitation by the father) would not be viewed as being "in the child's best interests." A court order approving it as written would not be issued. (00:09:36 - 00:20:33)

Gully (2019)

Character mistake: A guidance counselor/principal told Calvin, "You're a very very smart young man. Perhaps even gifted. Last year you scored in the top ten percentile on the PSAT..." Because Calvin deliberately "blew" the SAT, the school official was going to make arrangements for Calvin to retake it. But this would not be necessary. The PSAT score (out of 1520) is considered equal to the SAT score (1600). The school official would be more helpful by getting Calvin admitted to college using the PSAT score. (00:08:35)

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy is talking to Dottie by her car before she goes home with Bob, the background behind Jimmy changes too much for the slight change in the angle of the camera (i e, a blue VW with three people standing by the trunk versus a red/burgundy car, plus the blue car reappears). The white representing the house behind the trees also looks different compared to a direct shot of the house. Also, the sun was shining, the road looked wet and a little later, the road looked dry. Minari (2020)

Revealing mistake: The location of and distance between windows on the mobile home should stay the same, but do not. The home's exterior is constructed of vertical boards/slats, which can be used to make a rough estimate of the number (then distance). Initially, there were about 24 vertical boards between the shortest window and the window to its right (on-screen). When David and Anne were close to the house, there were a lot more boards between these windows - closer to 36+. The mobile home was "fabricated". (00:02:18)

Minari (2020)

Continuity mistake: From a distance, various cement blocks can be seen supporting and levelling the mobile home. When David looks underneath, he tells Anne, "Look, wheels" and three or four wheels close together in a row are shown. Moments later when David and Anne are about to enter the mobile home, the wheels are not there but cement blocks can be seen on the other side. (00:02:27)
