Continuity mistake: A fork in Grace's square bowl props against the corner that is closest to her glass of wine. Grace holds a magazine with both hands. When Grace reaches for her wine, the bowl is at a different angle and the fork is gone. (00:08:00)

Continuity mistake: The coat rack suddenly has a long-strapped tan purse/bag hanging alongside Juliet's coat. The purse soon disappears. (00:10:45 - 00:11:15)

Candy Cane Lane (2023)

Factual error: Chris and Carol are in the back of the house, and the rising sun faces them. Chris walks around the side to the front of the house, where the sun is rising to his left (at about a 90° shift from the backyard sunrise). The sun rises in the east and does not rise in the south. Ebbie (1995)

Revealing mistake: The width of the telephone pole behind Ebbie is about two-thirds the span of her shoulders but is just as wide when the background is blurred. (00:22:10 - 00:23:18)

Candy Cane Lane (2023)

Trivia: The movie is relatively long, listed as 120 minutes. After some credits (which appear to mark the end), there is a "One Week Later" scene. This is followed by some goofs/outtakes. About the last 10 minutes are credits, accompanied by a Christmas song and music. (01:46:45 - 01:47:10)

Continuity mistake: In the ice cream and hot cocoa parlor, the jar of candy canes/sticks is closer to the gingerbread house than the cash register. In the rearview, the three objects are close together, with little space between them. Later, the reverse occurs: the three objects are close together in the rearview, but the jar is back to being closer to the gingerbread house in the front view. (00:13:30 - 00:15:45)

Candy Cane Lane (2023)

Continuity mistake: Tre holds the bound fleece blanket [or men's top?] with the white border to his left, but it lands (not rotates) onto the desk with the white border to his right. The blanket is at a different angle in front of Chris, and the white border faces Chris (i.e. rotates about 90°) before Chris touches or picks up the blanket. (00:05:58)

KeyZOid

Stupidity: Maria passes around paper pads for the "forehead game." Before Cait places her paper on her forehead, she quickly licks it. But Cait has Post-It paper. Licking (wetting) the paper reduces the stickiness of the adherent already on the Post-It. (00:54:55 - 00:55:52)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: Cait plays the "forehead game" and correctly guesses that she is "snow". Cait apparently removes the paper from her forehead (off-screen). The timer bell rings, and the paper is on Cait's forehead as if she does not take it off. (00:57:28 - 00:58:08)

Trivia: "Traditionalist" Hank sees the decorated Christmas tree along the street and says, "This is not a Christmas tree... that should be a star on the tree." Stars may be the most (or among the most) popular tree-toppers today, but baby Jesus and an angel are the earliest tree-toppers.

KeyZOid

Trivia: Hanging onto Christmas traditions may not be the only theme in the movie. Hank's building is located on "S. Industrial Av." Interspersed among vast Christmas decorations are signs for traditional oil/gasoline companies, including "Standard Oil", "Pennzoil", and "Keystone Gas." There is even a "Firestone" sign - it takes several gallons of oil to make one tire. Ironically, electric toy trains are traditional. (00:37:50 - 00:42:32)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: Sarah goes outside and sits on the third step below the deck landing. In the aerial view, Sarah sits on the fourth step down (and does not appear to actually sit on the step). (00:31:34 - 00:32:38)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: The left side of the open file folder is underneath the pillow and propped against the arm of the couch. After Beth has all of her papers/file folders on her lap, the open file folder is magically back in place under the pillow. (00:04:22 - 00:05:50)

Other mistake: The outdoor newspaper dispenser has "The Mistleto Post" written on the side, misspelling "Mistletoe". (00:37:18)

Trivia: Grumpy Cat (AKA, "Tardar Sauce") dies in 2019 at age 7 (4/04/12 - 5/14/19) due to urinary tract infection complications. Her small size (a little over 4#) is due to a form of dwarfism and her grumpy look is attributed to an underbite. Although not revealed, it is estimated that Grumpy Cat earns millions of dollars (perhaps as high as $100 million) during her short life as an internet sensation and "movie star."

KeyZOid

Trivia: Mall security guard George tells Zack and Donny that he is not a jerk - he is a "Mastermind." Grumpy Cat thinks, "Oh no, yeah, you're a limp short of being Keyser Soze." Keyser Soze refers to the main antagonist (played by Kevin Spacey) in "The Usual Suspects" (1995). (01:01:10)

Trivia: "Traditionalist" Hank insists, "There's no green in candy canes. Green is for peppermint sticks. They [candy canes] should be red [striped]." Original candy canes are solid white (no red stripes) and are straight sticks (not shaped like canes). Hank's age is not disclosed, and traditions can change over time, so Hank's assertions cannot be classified as a "character mistake." (00:03:17)

Continuity mistake: Before Jesse's plate is placed on the table, the salt and pepper shakers are about a width apart. They are almost touching for a while, then back to being spaced apart. (00:10:20 - 00:11:00)

The Invisible Man (2020)

Stupidity: Police officer James sits in his car, across the street from Adrian's house. He has the car's interior dome light on as he "surreptitiously" listens to Cecilia talking to Adrian. (01:49:00)
