Revealing mistake: When Curtis or Catherine are driving while it is snowing (e.g, on their way to the Christmas party), there is relatively heavy snow going horizontally past the side windows but there is no indication that "snow" is falling on the windshield. Wipers can't be heard (like one would expect driving in these conditions) and there is no dimming of light inside to suggest the heavy snow is blocking some light. Also, the way the snow is accumulating around the side windows is not typical. (00:33:04)

Continuity mistake: The driveway is clear of snow the day the Baxters move in. Based on the amount of snow in Mason's yard (across the street) and other outside views, there has not been a snowstorm after the Baxters have settled. In fact, the wet roads and melting snow on lawns indicate an ongoing thaw. Christine (Finn's mother) tells the kids they will be leaving to go shopping for a tree and decorations as soon as Curtis (Finn's father) finishes clearing the driveway. Curtis is then shown struggling to use a snowblower to remove A LOT of snow from the driveway (which had been clear of all snow on move-in day). (00:00:58 - 00:18:51)

Buffaloed (2019)

Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie, Peg's hair frequently changes from scene to scene and within a scene. When her hair has a blue ribbon around a bun at the top, her side parts are sometimes higher/lower and straight/jagged. The length of her hair varies, as does the amount of curl on the bottom. One of most noticeable variations in her hair length and curl occurs during her speech to her new employees at Personal Expenditures Garnering. It changes several times from just to the shoulders to a few inches below her shoulders. Back views of her hair tend to be shorter and front views tend to be longer. (00:44:42)

Other mistake: Glen/Charlie poured gasoline all over the vehicle he killed Sandra in - including its soft convertible top - but the flames stayed around the car's perimeter. (00:50:54 - 00:51:26)

Continuity mistake: When Jude is upstairs getting ready for company to arrive, he and Brahms are wearing dark blue (or black) suits. When the company comes inside, Jude and Brahms are sitting on the couch wearing grey sweaters. (00:57:43 - 00:58:14)

Other mistake: Jude would not be able to write that neatly - especially that fast - while holding a floppy notebook in the air. The right half of the notebook was sagging while he wrote three perfectly lined rows ("I told you not to make him mad."). (00:46:03)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: Brahms was quite clean for having been buried under dirt and leaves. No dirt fell off Brahms' body when Jude pulled him out of his "grave" and there did not appear to be dirt in his hair. When Sean (Jude's father) held up Brahms, the doll looked relatively clean - or cleaner compared to when Liza (Jude's mother) started to wash him. (00:14:10 - 00:15:45)

The Minus Man (1999)

Continuity mistake: The camera goes back and forth between Vann and Ferrin when they are having a conversation in the post office. Ferrin's hair is very frizzy the whole way around her face (and a total mess). There are some strands of hair that dangle from her scalp which aren't always the same. Perhaps more noticeable is a clump of hair on the left side of her head that intermittently sticks out sideways a few inches. When there is finally a rear view of her head, Ferrin's hair is suddenly neatly combed back in a bun with little or no frizz - only the strands that dangle in the front stay the same. Super 8 (2011)

Trivia: If you thought you recognized "Donny" (clerk at camera store) but couldn't place him, he played the blond-haired kid on "7th Heaven" and was in "Little Secrets" (2002). David Gallagher (born in 1985) looked a lot different playing an adult role.

Super 8 (2011)

Continuity mistake: During the wake, a red/burgundy car is parked along the curb after the Lambs' driveway sometimes but not others. It is first seen at 00:01:30 immediately past the driveway but is not there when a light-colored (white, grey, light blue?) car is parked along the curb two or three houses down. When the sheriff's car has backed out of the driveway and onto the road, the red car is suddenly back again, a little way past the driveway entrance but before the light-colored car. The red car could not have just got to that spot because Mr. Lamb backing out of the driveway would have blocked it from getting there plus the road may have been slippery/icy (where drivers need to go slowly). Super 8 (2011)

Continuity mistake: There is no center line dividing the lanes on the street where the Lambs live, but the street is divided by a double-yellow line when Mr. Lamb puts Mr. Dainard into the sheriff's car. (00:02:43 - 00:03:43)

Super 8 (2011)

Stupidity: While the train cars are still derailing in front of them, the kids stay on the porch and actually start running toward the oncoming train. Next, they turn around and run in the opposite direction, while staying the same distance away from the train tracks and flying cars/debris. When they run out of the porch to stay parallel to the train, they again turn around and run to the middle of the porch and look like they are jumping around together, clueless where to run to next - running in either direction parallel to the train was not getting them away from derailment. Then they disperse in various directions but stay off the porch. (00:17:24)

Boyhood (2014)

Continuity mistake: The views inside and from the SUV when Liv and Carol picked up the kids to leave Bill are awkward. Even though Carol gets into the front passenger seat, she is not visible afterwards - views of Liv driving and of the house out the front passenger window should have at least some part of Carol visible, but she isn't. Liv yelled to the kids in the back seat to put their seat belts on, but the way the kids were positioned was not conducive to wearing a seat belt. Mason was sitting with his head and back a few inches away from the back of the seat and halfway onto the center. Samantha's head was past the headrest and her shoulder was partly on the headrest; her body appeared to be at an angle in the corner against the door. (00:56:50)

Boyhood (2014)

Continuity mistake: When Mason is sitting on the steps talking to his dad on a cell phone, front shots show him holding the cell phone between his thighs (which are split like a "V"); rear shots show Mason's thighs/legs touching and him holding the cell phone to the right of his right thigh. Continuity mistake: Before Clarice chases Buffalo Bill down the basement steps, she quickly slips off her green overcoat, letting it fall to the floor. (I wasn't able to see if the green/red checked blazer and/or the grey scarf she almost always wore were slipped off at the same time - the view was obstructed by a table.) After Bill is killed, Clarice exits the house and comes down the front steps wearing the green/red checked suit jacket (blazer), but does not have the green overcoat or scarf with her. (01:43:13 - 01:50:17)

Character mistake: Clarice was given clear, explicit instructions by Crawford before going to the asylum to see Lecter, including: do not touch the glass; do not approach the glass; tell him nothing personal; do not accept anything from him. Barney also gave the specific rules to Clarice when she got there (e.g, "you don't get near the glass"; use the food tray carrier to give him papers), and informed her he would be watching her on video. An FBI Agent TRAINEE is under close scrutiny and failure to meet the high standards and/or rigorous training can/will result in dismissal from the academy; a student must follow the rules and demonstrate she has what it takes to graduate and is suitable to become a member of the FBI. Given the high standards and relative difficulty in securing a position with the FBI, a trainee would not blatantly break the rules or virtually disregard the direct orders of a supervisor like Clarice did - especially during the very first assignment. The end does not justify the means.

The Minus Man (1999)

Continuity mistake: The entire bar scene at the beginning of the movie contains numerous continuity errors for the props (e.g, lamp, jar of pickles) and background. The background changes and it is difficult to see what is being shown. In some views, there appear to be some kind of pillars or wooden rails/posts that are practically up to the bar and/or above Casper's head. At times, the ceiling looks domed with pictures arched/curved from the top of the wall to the domed ceiling. There is an overall lack of continuity in the bar scene.
