Burke's Law (1963)

Who Killed Wade Walker? - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: Burke's Rolls leaves a parking space in front of a restaurant with a distinctive peaked roof facade. After a lengthy conversation with Tim during a drive through L.A. streets (in one direction with no turns), the car is shown again pulling away from the same restaurant. (00:11:25)

Switch (1975)

Candy and the Kid - S2-E19

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Jeremy falls and is clinging to a cliff face. In the close-ups, he's holding onto fairly solid grey rocks. In all the long shots, however, his stunt man/double is precariously perched on crumbling brown dirt. (00:01:00)

A Bride for Obie Brown - S2-E14

Revealing mistake: During the log-rolling contest at the end, Bobby Sherman's stunt double is very easy to spot. He has lighter, shorter hair and is much taller. His face (in profile) is even visible in several shots. (00:46:00)

His Sister's Keeper - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: During the fight between Stemple and Jason, they overturn a large crate marked "Farm Machinery" in front of the general store. Two shots later, the same crate has somehow righted itself, and they overturn it again. (00:25:30)

Dark Shadows (1966)

Show generally

Factual error: 1966: Ohrbach's, the fashion house that supplied Dark Shadows with costumes throughout its run, suffered the indignity of seeing its name misspelled as "Orhbach's" in many of the 1966 credit crawls.

Dark Shadows (1966)

Show generally

Audio problem: 1966: While Constable Carter is grilling Burke Devlin, you can hear crew members talking loudly backstage. In apparent annoyance, "Burke" raises his voice and all but shouts his next line.

Show generally

Revealing mistake: The mock-up of Clancey's ship that we see from the town never matches the stock footage of the ship at sea. Nor, apparently, did budget restraints allow for any movement of the mock-up that would make it appear to actually be floating on water. It glides into port on what is obviously wheels, perfectly level, and without a single creak or groan that a real ship would make.

Show generally

Deliberate mistake: Robert Brown wears a gold turtleneck sweater with his leather outfit throughout the series. Though it's more than 100 years beyond the show's 19th Century setting, he and the producers decided that he looked good in it, so allowed the anachronism to stand.

Blake's 7 (1978)

Dawn of the Gods - S3-E4

Audio problem: Just as Zen is reporting that it can find no stars for navigational reference points, something crashes very noisily off screen. No, it isn't the arriving Dayna's clunky shoes. Much too loud, unless she's throwing them at something.

Quantum Leap (1989)

Private Dancer - October 6, 1979 - S3-E14

Factual error: When Sam knocks on Diana's door, she opens it. But we've just been told that she's completely deaf, so there's no way she could have heard him knocking. Though she dances to "vibrations in the air," this is with music played at volumes high enough to cause such vibrations. Sam is absolutely not banging on her door that loudly.
