Sea of Enemies - S2-E14

Factual error: Graham repeatedly sings a song he says his grandmother taught him: "Rufus Rastus Johnson Brown, What You Gonna Do When the Rent Come Round?" This was a Vaudeville stage composition written by Andrew B. Sterling and Harry Von Tilzer - in 1905. High Chaparral is set in the 1870s.

Factual error: In this Sci-Fi Channel TV movie, a geology professor and his students are climbing the side of an Icelandic volcano. The professor tells them, "There's a book by Jules Verne: Voyage to the Center of the Earth." He may not be an English prof, but he should still know better. Verne's book is Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Quantum Leap (1989)

Good Night, Dear Heart - November 9, 1957 - S2-E17

Factual error: At the end, Sam reads a poem from a Mark Twain book and says, "Twain wrote it when his daughter died." But the poem, famous because it was engraved on the daughter's headstone, isn't by Twain, but by poet Robert Richardson. Twain never claimed authorship, so Sam couldn't be reading it with Twain's byline from any of his books. (00:48:00)

Batman (1966)

Smack in the Middle (2) - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Molly is about to disguise herself as Robin. But the wig she's holding isn't even remotely the same color as Robin's hair. Of course, as soon as she puts it on and transforms herself, the wig darkens and becomes Robin's actual hair. (00:05:45)

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

The Bomber and Mrs. Moroney - S3-E22

Continuity mistake: The HPD snipers watch McGarrett's office window, trying to get a clear shot at Collins. In camera views from inside the office, there's a coat rack with a hanger on it standing in front of the window. But in all the shots from the snipers' POV, the coat rack isn't there. (00:40:00)

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

F.O.B. Honolulu (1) - S3-E18

Trivia: Roger C. Carmel, best known as Star Trek's Harry Mudd, played KGB agent Misha Toptegan in this episode. But his end credit lists the character as "Misha the Bear." This was a joking reference to Carmel's years as the voice of Smokey the Bear in hundreds of public service announcements throughout the 1960s.

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

F.O.B. Honolulu (1) - S3-E18

Trivia: CBS had to reschedule this episode twice after pre-emptions for speeches by President Nixon. When Secretary of State Henry Kissinger visited Hawaii and asked to tour the Five-O studio, producer Leonard Freeman asked him for a favor in return. Could he talk to the president about that speech schedule? Within a week, Nixon's speeches were moved to a different night.

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk and the Captain's Marriage - S4-E12

Revealing mistake: In their efforts to hide Gerald's pet mouse from the hospital staff, Randy and Natalie toss the rodent back and forth and alternate hiding him in their pockets. But every time he's tossed, Devo the Mouse gains weight. In fact, Devo's (stuffed?) stunt-mouse double is at least twice Devo's actual size. (00:27:00)

The Deceivers - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: The leather strap around Manolito's neck is sticking prominently up out of his shirt collar in all the over-the-shoulder shots, but it disappears every time the angle reverses to a frontal view. (00:36:00)

Monk (2002)

To Reign in Hell - S1-E20

Continuity mistake: The gold coin Vincent finds on Catherine's balcony changes from one scene to the next. When he picks it up, there's a very small section of it missing on one edge. When he shows it to Father in the following scene, nearly a third of it is cut away. (00:06:05)

Trivia: Walter Koenig's recurring Psi Corps character, Bester, was named in honor of science fiction writer Alfred Bester, who coined the term "psi cop" in one of his many novels about psychic manipulation.

The Kinsman - S1-E20

Visible crew/equipment: In the final scene, light patterns from studio reflectors are moving on the sleeve of Blue's shirt. He's on horseback in the middle of the desert and is nowhere near water, shiny metal, or anything else that could cause such light reflections. (00:40:50)
