Stir Crazy (1980)

Factual error: Just after the British flag is raised over the British garrison's camp, we see an interior shot of Brig. General Maitland's field office. There are no American forces involved in this conflict, but at the far right of the screen (visible in widescreen format), the flag hanging behind his desk is, inexplicably, the American Stars and Stripes instead of the British Union Jack. Revealing mistake: At the end, when King's troops are attacking Khan's camp, a "dead" insurgent hops up and runs off screen just as the arsenal explodes. (01:36:00)

Burke's Law (1963)

Who Killed the Rest? - S2-E25

Continuity mistake: When Burke's partners arrive to question Mimsy Grove, she's facing away from them, bending over to untangle her boat's mooring line. But in the very next shot, she's immediately standing up straight and has turned around to face them. (00:38:15)

Picture Snatcher (1933)

Continuity mistake: Danny puts both his hands on the grieving fireman's shoulders. But when the shot cuts, only his right hand is on the man's shoulder - the left is in his coat pocket. (00:11:10)

Picture Snatcher (1933)

Continuity mistake: The first time we see the fireman's wedding photo, she's on the left and he's on the right. The next time we see it, their positions are reversed. (00:12:05)

Continuity mistake: When Nicole takes Whitfield for his first ride in Herbie, the car rears up onto its back wheels. But in the very next shot of Whitfield's startled reaction, the rear-screen projection of the street behind them is footage taken from a level view, not an elevated one. (00:15:50)

Continuity mistake: During the flashbacks to Herbie's racing days, his front license plate disappears and reappears throughout the final racing sequence. (00:22:00)

Audio problem: Pay phones are programmed to drop the coins into an internal storage box after the receiver is placed back in the cradle. But at the airport, when Whitfield hangs up on his mother (and he didn't call collect), there's no sound of coins dropping. (00:38:00)

The Virginian (1962)

One Spring Like Long Ago - S4-E24

Continuity mistake: In the general store, Randy rests his arms on a partition, then takes them down and turns away. The following shot is mismatched: he's immediately leaning on the partition again, without enough time to return to that position.

The Virginian (1962)

Continuity mistake: Bradford's coat collar alternates between turned up and turned down throughout the scene outside the bowling alley. (00:15:00)

Saga of a Star World (2) - S1-E2

Character mistake: When Starbuck and Apollo cross-wire the lift to reach the lower levels, they forget to undo their handiwork. Convenient to the plot, this oversight allows Boxey to wander into the Ovions' stronghold and require rescuing.

The Virginian (1962)

Ride a Cock-Horse to Laramie Cross - S4-E23

Continuity mistake: The dye job on young Clint Howard's hair is inconsistent from scene to scene. It's dark black at the start, but pales to a shade much closer to his natural blond color in many shots later on. His brown make-up (a laughable effort to make a blue-eyed Anglo kid look Hispanic) also varies, and disappears entirely in some of the covered wagon scenes.

Patriot Down - S7-E23

Continuity mistake: "Patriot Down": The beach scene in the opening sequence is repeated at the end, but the dialogue differs the second time. Gibbs is kneeling on the sand when someone puts a gun to his head and says, "Welcome to Mexico." When Gibbs reaches for his weapon, the voice growls, "Don't even think about it." These two lines are delivered in reverse order when the scene replays at the end.

Movie Crazy (1932)

Continuity mistake: When Harold climbs in the window of his house, his car rolls away to the right. After hearing the crash, he runs back to the window and looks out - to the right, where he sees the wreck. But that's the wrong direction. From inside the house, the wreck should be to the left.
