The Photographer - S2-E15

Continuity mistake: In the opening sequence, the tape giving Phelps his assignment is running backwards in some shots, isn't threaded properly in others, and in reverse angles, it's running twice as fast as it is in the previous shots. (00:02:30)

Future's End (2) - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: After Starling is beamed out of the limo, Rayne opens the door and escapes. The door is still standing open when the chauffeur starts the car. But in the reverse angle as he drives away, the door has closed itself. (00:20:10)

Continuity mistake: Edmond Dantes has just spent several years digging a tunnel through the rock walls of Chateau d'If. Yet when he washes up on the beach, a close-up of his hand shows us perfectly clean, manicured fingernails. Salt water may wash your hands clean, but it certainly won't trim, file and repair broken fingernails for you. (01:01:35)

Charity - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Rollin sets the bed quilt on fire, the burned portion gets larger, then smaller, then larger again in alternating shots. (00:21:05)

Charity - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: The drink Cinnamon ultimately knocks off the edge of the pool table moves several inches between takes, and in one shot disappears altogether. (00:23:40)

Charity - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Hagar's wife opens the Mercedes' trunk, the deflated silver mat is wrinkled and covers the entire space. When she picks it up, it's less than half its original size and has no wrinkles in it at all. (00:47:50)

Continuity mistake: After he eats the entire box of fudge bars, Adam has chocolate smeared all over his face. The smudges change shape and intensity several times between takes. (00:39:00)

The Great Race (1965)

Continuity mistake: Watch when Jack Lemmon falls into the giant cake at the beginning of the pie fight scene: he destroys all but a thin vertical pillar on the right side. During the fight, we see two other angles on it before the cake is fallen on again - in a shot from the exact same angle as before - but this time a large portion of it has somehow restored itself, and in a completely different configuration.

The Crowd Roars (1932)

Continuity mistake: Joe shoves Lee's friend Ann out the door and twists the lock so she can't come back in. After he and Lee argue, he then storms out the same door, which somehow opens for him easily, even though he hasn't unlocked it again. (00:31:10)

The Crowd Roars (1932)

Revealing mistake: Rear-screen projection is laughably obvious in all the racing scenes here - especially when two side-by-side car drivers carry on a highly-improbable mid-race conversation with the rest of the race cars wobbling badly on the screen behind them.

The Crowd Roars (1932)

Continuity mistake: In the final race, Joe's car has two drivers in all the close-ups, but in the long shots, only one. (01:05:45)

The Crowd Roars (1932)

Factual error: In the opening shots, Joe's crew works on his race car inside the train's closed, moving boxcar. They rev the engine and make clouds of exhaust, causing one mechanic to cough and complain about the fumes. He should be doing more than just complaining. In fact, they should all be keeling over. Car engines create carbon monoxide gas, which in an enclosed space is deadly. (00:04:00)

The Crowd Roars (1932)

Audio problem: During Joe and Eddie's first race, you can hear the sound of squealing tires as they round the bend. But they're driving on a dirt track. Tires don't squeal on dirt. (00:15:40)
